I loved the first book in the series and was looking forward to starting this one. I was not disappointed. A lovely heartwarming read with great characters and fabulous location. I could imagine myself in Lissbeg.
A well paced storyline with a good ending - perfect for a winter afternoon on the sofa with a hot cuppa.
It could be read as a standalone but I recommend reading The Library at the Edge of the World first - both fabulous books to be enjoyed.
I hope there will be more in this lovely series.
Fantastic sequel. Just the most adorable, lovely feel good book. Whats not to love. You immediately fall in love as soon as you pick this book up and start to read. Perfect for those who love to read about the simple lives of small town folk. never been to Ireland but the book makes me wish id been.
Hanna is the librarian at the Lissbeg library in Ireland and she is concerned about her daughterJazz. Jazz is upset about the recent revelations regarding her parent's marriage breakup and finding out that things were definitely not what they seemed.!
It it's lovely to be back in Lissbeg with all of the characters from the edge of the world, especially Hannah with her clifftop cottage. I love the typical Irish story telling in it's gentle meandering manner and hope there will be more stories about this lovely village
Great book - although I had read the previous book it was good how there were reminders of what had happened and background to this book without going on about it too much.
It is a nice gentle story and easy to read.
I loved the descriptions of the place being on the edge of the world - it makes you want to go and visit!
