This book discusses the opposing paradigms of connectivity and separation. Long thoroughly describes the two with an eye toward the benefits of connectivity...and how to get there. Excellent and helpful ideas!
Thank you to the author and Netgalley for the copy of this in exchange for an honest review.
This book focuses on the importance of living in a world of connectivity, which leads to feelings of being fulfilled and happiness. The opposite, Separation, is a cold existence. This book gave some helpful advice, but it is just not for me. I do admit, I will utilize some of the techniques, just not all of it.
The topic of this book is one in which I am both interested and fairly well versed. I typically pick up books of this type/genre and, although there is often material with which I am familiar, a new point of view or take can sometimes yield new golden nuggets of information or reinforcement of ideas through well written repetition or interpretation. Unfortunately, the style of writing and organization of this volume did not speak to me.
