Super fun book to read with my little one! I love a good story book that engages both of us, and it’s fun to be able to expose the kiddo to new books in a variety of formats.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

Kevin is back with another book about cars/vehicles. And it was oh so fun to see him tell us about his cars, to show us what they did. From normal cars to excavators and ambulances.

I loved seeing the little guy get all excited about the various vehicles he encounters in his life. From the garbage truck crushing the trash, to the excavator loading dirt into a truck!

The book is split up in sections, and I like that. Like in the Want to help?-section we have ambulances and firetrucks.

I am a big fan of Liesbet Slegers work, she always has a way with making books fun no matter what topic. From stuff that would normally be boring (like dentists) to stuff that is fun (cars), she can do them all. Plus the illustrations she makes really compliment the book. I love how bright and colourful they always are. And even if they are simple, they are cute and nice.

There was one thing I found weird. That moving van? It doesn't look at all like one. I never have seen a moving van look like that.

All in all, another book by Liesbet Slegers that I really liked. I would recommend it to everyone, toddlers especially will love this book.

Another great book by Slegers about a boy and his car.

My 2 yr old grandson had fun with this picture book with only enough pictures to make the story interesting for him. Various recognizable transport he can say and, of course, make its noise!

My son adores this book! It is wonderful and I will be getting him a physical copy as soon as I can.

This title is longer than most of Slegers’ books. It is a brief look at various types of vehicles and what they do. A book that would be picked up by lots of little hands at my library.

I loved the illustrations in this book, which covers just about every vehicle imaginable. As a UK reader I would expect the American language to be Anglicised before it reached a UK audience, eg tire, semitruck, garbage truck, trash bags.

This board book would be a great addition for a Libraries preschool collection..

A little boy takes readers along with him on a tour of all different types of cars: vehicles that get us from one place to another, like buses and vans; vehicles that help others, like ambulances and police cars; vehicles that get hard work done, like tractors and street sweepers; and vehicles that race, like racecars and Formula 1 racecars. Perfect for cars and truck fans, this is going to be a staple in my early childhood area. The colors are bright, the lines and fonts are bold, and books about vehicles are a home run for little readers.

This is a cute book about cars and some trucks. Each page has a bright colourful illustration with simple sentences describing the vehicle and what it does. I liked that there were sections depicting work vehicles, safety vehicles etc. It is a bit long for younger children but by kindergarten they should be able to sit and listen to the whole thing. A great book to use when a class is looking at transportation or even community helpers. The adults driving the vehicles are somewhat diverse which is also nice to see. A great addition to a kindergarten and early primary classroom as well as any home where a child is interested in trucks.

Me and My Cars has lovely illustrations. There's a big number of different types of cars and good explanations for the children to understand what is special about each car.
This book is definately recommendable for smaller children!

Another colorful offering in the Toddler series with child-like illustrations. Engaging picture book that features multiple types of wheeled vehicles with a brief explanation of function: ambulance, fire truck, police car, dump truck, bus, car, camper and more. Fun for the wee ones.

A very simple book aimed at toddlers 12 months and up, which looks at all the different types of vehicles that children will be able to spot all over the place - tractors, cars, buses, ambulances, and many more. The text is very child-friendly with bold, large font, and the illustrations are done in such a way that they look as though they're freshly painted, which is very effective in this book. A great all-round read for little ones.

This book is great - it has some brilliant images that really tie in to the book. The book is about cars and the people who drive them - they have everything ranging from police to Formula 1 so it is very varied. It is a fun book and would be great to use to learn more about the different types of car and vehicle out there as a starter book - 4 stars from me.

My boys and I loved this one! Our three year old was quick to name the type of vehicle as each new one revealed itself. The sounds and work the vehicles did kept them both entertained. The bright colors and contrast made the images appealing. This is sure to be a winner for fans of trucks and cars. I was really pleased with the number and diversity of vehicles focused on.

Cute book about cars and children. We see cars and the people who drive them through the eyes of a young child. The pictures are bright and cheerful and depict cars, trucks, and other vehicles that a child might typically see. The drivers and other adults are moderately diverse, shown in white, brown, and yellow. It's a fun book for any toddler or young preschooler, though it's a bit long and wordy for younger toddlers.
