Susan is living in New York, and working for Magda. Recently turned vampire, she houses a demon trapped in her. When Reese shows up from England with news that Michael and Alonso are missing, Susan is required to scribe for their continued well being. Powerful beings have grandiose plans, and will stop at nothing to see them to fruition through Susan's magical words. To free them all, the demon will have to be released. Action packed, nice startling reveal, engaging characters. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book from Netgalley.
