Nice excerpts from some up coming novels. I think my favourite was Future Home of the Living God. It sounds like a promising dystopian that I'll definitely look out for.
Even more disappointed with this one. Not a single book caught my attention. That’s heartbreaking for me, because I used to finish reading these and have a lot of books that I wanted to read.
I look forward to every month's Buzz Books and this is no exception. Great to see what books are forthcoming and to read excerpts. As you will see, there are some great reads coming up!
It is an informative guide to books coming out in November and December 2017.
These are always bad for my to-read list! Happily this time I had read/requested most of the featured titles, so not too much damage this time around. A great selection as always.
An amazing collection filled with a bunch of fun and interesting excerpts from upcoming books.
I always appreciate the round up of books in these. It was so strange that right before I downloaded this, I was thinking that I've been meaning to read a Louise Erdrich book, and she was the first author mentioned! Definitely excited to see she has a new book coming out :)
I love being able to read excerpts of books all in one place before choosing which book is next on my list.
I love reading Buzz Books Monthly - it gives me the opportunity to learn about new books and, subsequently, add (too many? is there such a thing) books to my TBR list. Books that sound particularly interesting that are due to be released in November include (with excerpts):
- Future Home of the Living God (by Louise Erdrich)
- The Austen Escape (by Katherine Reay
There are also several books that are listed (without excerpts) that I have my eye on, including:
- Beasts of Extraordinary Circumstances (by Ruth Emmie Lang)
- Bonfire (by Krysten Ritter)
I can't wait to read these books, November is going to be a great month. Thanks for the compilation, Publishers Lunch!
As is usually the case, I've been looking forward to the latest Buzz Books Monthly. This time around, my reading choices for the upcoming months were confirmed, and a few more have been added to my TBR.
A great way to open yourself up to books you wouldn't normally read and a perfect opportunity to find a diamond in the rough.
I always love when these Buzz Books come available. It's an awesome way to be exposed to books you normally wouldn't reach for. It takes you out of your comfort zone. You get to read a few chapters of a book to see if you are going to like it or not. The best part is there is usually a link at the end of each one to click on to request! Brilliant!!
Always look forward to Buzz Books every month! Wonderful selection of upcoming books to sample!
A nice reminder of the titles that are coming out in the upcoming months with convenient links to request copies. I really enjoy these small bind ups.
Look forward to Buzzbook every month. A brilliant way to find new authors and books.
I didn't realize that this was just repeated excerpts from a previous buzz books.
I love it when this pops up for download every month. I just feel sorry for my poor TBR.
I love the Buzz Books! They provide a fantastic overview of books that are expected to be hits.
This is a great collection of excerpts of upcoming books for the months of November and December 2017.
It contains an introduction followed by a section with a list of "Literary Favorites and Emerging Talents", debut fiction, commercial fiction, and nonfiction titles. Then it has a section of "Week by Week" title releases and at the end some book excerpts that were originally published in Buzz Books 2017: Fall/Winter and Buzz Books 2017: Romance. I particularly enjoyed the excerpt for The Austen Escape by Katherine Reay.
Overall, a great list of buzzing titles for the months of November and December 2017.
As always, it was a joy to read the selection of upcoming books.
