I knew within the first chapter or so that I was going to absolutely love Fake Wife. Although I knew so early on that I was going to love the story, I wasn't always so sure. From the moment I read the title I honestly thought it was going to be just another fake romance gone wrong story, I mean we know from the very beginning when we read the title there will be a fake marriage. Let me tell you though, Stacey does what she always does, she brings us characters that are so real and so easy to fall in love with that we feel an instant connection to both Teagan and Corbin.
Teagan, living one heck of a bad day, meets Corbin while he is not in the best state of mind. Corbin has learned that his grandma wants him to marry within a matter of months and remain married for a specific amount of time in order to inherit the house and land he has always loved. Will they make it?
I read Fake Wife at the end of a reread spree because I was stuck in a book rut. While Fake Wife packs the emotions whether happy or sad, it was one of those light reads that makes your book lovers heart so happy.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher.
When can you rear end a wealthy man and end up his wife? Well - fake wife. I enjoyed reading this new book by Stacey Lynn. Stirling and Teagan are great characters I think you will enjoy their story.
So he has to marry in order to keep all that's sacred to him. Wham! How about his future wife crashes right into him...quite literally. That he would offer her enough security financially plus a place to live for a couple of years to fulfill the contract is like a fairy tale come true.
Neither know one another. His world is not hers. So to say Teagan is a breath of fresh air is an understatement. Though the one thing neither of them count on is falling for the other. That can't happen if it's all fake...right?
This story read very quickly for me. I pretty much "inhaled" this book. Their banter and relationship is definitely one everyone would hope to have in real life.

Grandma knows best!!!
Can two people that meet under negative circumstances fall in Love? If they fall in love how will they know it’s real?
CAN THEY BE HAPPY?
In this sweet, book of negatives turned positive we get to go on the roller coaster ride with Corbin and Teagan. With the instant chemistry and trust issues it’s a guaranteed bumpy ride.
Authors Blurb: This marriage is strictly business . . . until the temptation gets way too real.
Corbin: I loved my grandma, but I don’t need her money. All I care about is keeping the house—the only place that’s ever felt like home. That, and screwing over my dad, who wants to turn the property into a mall. There’s only one catch: To receive my inheritance, I have to get married within six months. Me, the guy who’s never dated a girl for more than six minutes. Now I need to find a woman I can trust. So when I’m rear-ended by a Prius, I figure it’s a sign that I’m supposed to meet gorgeous, down-to-earth Teagan Monroe.
Teagan: First I lose my job. Then I come home and find out—in the most graphic way possible . . . yeah, that way—that my boyfriend is a cheating jerk. And then I speed off and nearly kill Portland’s sexiest bachelor. Corbin Lane should be pissed. Instead, he offers me more money than I’ve ever seen in my life to marry him and live together in a mansion for two years. No sex. No feelings. Just cash—enough to make all my dreams come true. Then we go and break all our rules . . . and I realize I’m falling in love with my fake fiancé.
I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.
Thanks you Netgally for letting me read and review.

This was such a sweet and fun loving read.
I loved Teagan and Corbins characters.
this book made me swoon in more then one occasion!
I volunteered to read a copy of this book

I’m a sucker for fake wife/fiancée stories, so they’re always a good bet when I’m trying out a new-to-me author. This was a touching fake fiancée story with a huge dose of intsta-romance and I really enjoyed it immensely.
There are a lot of things that could have been added to this story that would have bogged it down. The author was very smart to keep certain things on a more peripheral level. Such as the paparazzi aspect of being a local “celebrity” …it’s touched upon but isn’t allowed to overwhelm the story.
The fact that Corbin is the very good-looking heir to a prominent and rich family led me to believe he would be a bit of a smug jerk. Instead, he is a very sympathetic hero. There is so much he has put up with and made concessions for throughout his life. While he’s not happy about the way so many things in his life have panned out, he’s not exactly bitter either. And he’s definitely a wonderful friend to those he trusts.
If you are ever having just a terrible day and think it’s the worst day ever, reading the beginning of this book may change your mind. Teagan is truly having the worst day ever when this book starts. The fact that she doesn’t have more issues is really a miracle after what she’s been through. Not just that day, but in life in general. I really appreciated that she was able to see, when everything came to a head between her and Corbin, that she really could trust him. The author took a different angle on this than you usually read and Teagan didn’t need to be hit upside the head to know what the truth of their relationship was.
I’ve really been having a great time with some new-to-me authors lately. Many of them, like Stacey Lynn, have a bit of a back library for me to go through, too. Now to find the time to read all the books!

t’s been so long since I read a book from Stacey and I have to say that I missed it more than I expected. Her Fireside series scarred me for life and became one of my favorite series. An amazing combination of heart wreck and heart warmth. The river of emotions that was flowing out of it was incredibly overwhelming and her writing made it even more so. This time, though, she kept the emotions in a check which was a enjoyable change from what I was used with her.
Fake Wife is a new standalone novel whose story may is developed around the familiar concept of “marriage of convenience”, but everything else is quite new. At least to my reading cells. Also, this story is one of the most perfect examples that describe the weird games life loves to play on us. And this time, her game is nothing less than brilliant. Corbin Lane & Teagan Monroe. Two incredibly different human beings with completely different life styles. Or so it seems. The one is a heir of a multi million company he wants to have nothing to do with it. The other a woman who is trying to find her place in this world. Two separate events will lead to the one who will bring them together. At first, Corbin’s grandma just passed away and declares him the hair of one of her properties which Corbin adores. But there is a catch; he must fall in love and get married in less than six months and stay that way for the next 2 years. Secondly, Teagan is first fired from her job at the library and then catches in the most horribly graphic way her boyfriend cheating on her on their bed. And then Teagan crashes with Corbin’s car and that’s where their journey to true love begins.
In general, Corbin and Teagan’s love story was one of the sweetest I have read. Although, one of the things that left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth was when she was describing the decisions she had made so far and what those had done to the course her life took. Honestly, I’m not judging her because if I was under the same circumstances I may have chosen the same. But, beyond that, it still wasn’t sitting well with me since it was making her seem more weak than she really was. Because she is an incredibly strong woman with a mind of her own and the heart and mind to teach life a lesson and succeed. Which brings me to her dream. A dream that spoke volumes of her personality and the unique kind of person she was. Some times the things that describe us the best are our dreams and not the decisions we (had to ) made in the past. And Teagan more than shows what a great human being she is.
She sent Teagan to give me a home again, not just a house.
And now we come to Corbin. A guy who is the farthest thing from typical rich guy. In the contrary, he is the master of himself and his life and he fights for what matters to him. I simply don’t know how should I describe his goodness and his passionate nature. He quite literally swept me away. And the way he was with Teagan and how their relationship progressed so fast but so damn right, left me with no doubt that I was facing a great love. Both of them were a force to be reckoned with even at the very primary stages of them as one. Moment after moment, they were dragging me deeper into their world. And that epilogue? Oh. My!! I was done after that. A huge mush on the floor grinning like a fool.
I just love Lynn’s books for the simple reason that they always leave me up in the clouds while, firstly, taking me on a sweet strong ride of feelings. I can’t wait to read more of her books and to meet the new awesome couples she will come up with.

Fake Wife grabbed me from the first page and wouldn't let go. This story is sooo good and one that I'd definitely recommend.
My heart poured out to Teagan as she just couldn't catch a break. Or could she? Seemed that Corbin came along at just the right time, despite having just buried his grandmother. I loved the chemistry between Teagan and Corbin and how they fought what was so obvious.
I sort of knew how the ending was going to be, but Stacey Lynn gave the story such more. Yes, there were ups and downs, but she made it so interesting and I just couldn't get enough of the characters, even Drake when he decided to show his ugly face again.
I'm going to check out other stories by this author because I really liked her writing style.

A very entertaining marriage of convenience story. The characters are great and the writing and flow of the story are excellent. Overall a great read.
Teagan has had one heck of a day. First she loses her job. Then arriving home early she catches her long term boyfriend in bed with another woman. As if that wasn't enough she then rams her car into the rear of "Portland's Sexiest Bachelor". She expects Corbin to be furious. Instead he makes her an offer she should refuse but what the heck, she's going for it. Now she just has to lock down her heart and keep her head in the game.
Definitely a book I recommend.

Fake Wife is my first time reading Stacey Lynn, but I am furiously devouring her backlist. This wickedly sexy and heartfelt romance was entertaining and heartwarming from cover to cover. Corbin has to marry within six months to secure his grandmother’s inheritance, and fate provides him the perfect bride when Teagan runs into him. Literally. She runs her car into his. There’s chemistry crackles from their first meet, and they form a connection quickly. Although their relationship and impending marriage is supposed to be essentially a business transaction, both begin to feel more as they get to know each other. Corbin is the sexy and charming man you want marry, and Teagan is the likable girl you want to be best friends with. Don’t miss this adorable, heartwarming and steamy romance!

Fake Wife by Stacey Lynn is the story of Corbin Lane and Teagan Monroe .
Corbin has most everything he has ever wanted but his grandmother was the only one who really cared for him. When she passes she leaves him her house and land....that is the one thing he has always desired! But he quickly learns that there is a catch to the will....he must marry with six moths and that marriage must last at least two years. A relationship commitment is something Corbin has never wanted or done with a women. Who can he find to help him fulfill is need to get his grandmothers house? Then something hits him....literally.
Teagan has lost everything all at once! The job she loved and then to find out her live in boyfriend of 7 years is screwing someone in their apartment has her feeling hopeless. Upset and distracted she ends up in a car accident hitting Corbin. Corbin doesn't take long before he turns the accident into something to fulfill his grandmother's will request. Now Teagan is in a world-wind called Corbin but can she survive it?

Fake Wife is a quick, fun and slow burn read that keep a smile on your face and your eyes glued to your kindle. Plus, don't we all enjoy a fake relationship where they eventually fall for each other? I know I do.
Teagan, bless her heart, is having an absolute miserable day that only tops off when she rear-ends Corbin, a well known business and ladies man. She expects to trade insurance information and move on but what she gets instead is a proposal of a lifetime. One that take up two years of her life but she will ultimately benefit from it. She agrees to this fake marriage and thus begins the "business only" part of the relationship. Both Teagan and Corbin continue to tell themselves that they will keep it strictly business but it's clear how dynamic their chemistry is and it's inevitable that they will cross the line.
I think what I like the most about this book is both Teagan and Corbin end up following their dreams. Well, and the fact that Corbin is just delicious when he talks. Watching his struggle with his feelings for Teagan and how much he wanted her was seriously fun.
"You want respect? The way you look in the fucking dress tonight is making me think this agreement is a very bad idea. Trust me, Teagan, I'm thinking anything other than cordial though right now and you're testing my control."
If you are looking for some good laughs and a slow burn, fake to true love romance, then this is the book for you!

I am a fan of the marriage of convenience to falling in love troupe! Fake Wife fits that bill nicely! It was an interesting story and totally believable!
Corbin is a wealthy guy and a confirmed bachelor. When his grandma dies, she leaves him her estate. He's always loved her house as it was the only place he felt at home in. But in order to keep it, his grandma made the provision he needs to be married. If he doesn't, the estate falls to his father, who is all too happy to raze the place and make it into a mall. Corbin can not let that happen, but where will he find someone who is wife material when he has never dated anyone beyond a single night??
Teagan is having the day from hell! She loses her job due to budget cuts. Once she returns home, she finds her boyfriend "enjoying" someone else's company! She packed up all she owns into her car, and heads out not sure of what she will do next. Deep in thought, Teagan smashes her car into the rear end of Corbin's car at a stoplight. Teagan recognizes him as Portland's sexiest bachelor-and knows he's wealthy beyond belief. Can her day get any worse? Corbin doesn't seem to be all that mad at her though. He offers her to sit down with him, have dinner, and talk. During that talk, Corbin makes a brash move and offers Teagan a deal she would be stupid to turn down. She would marry him, stay for two years, and collect enough money to make all her dreams come true. No sex, no feelings, just play the part until her payday. Only things get mucked up big time when they fall for each other!
Corbin and Teagan are good together! I liked their dynamic. Both were sentimental people and wore their hearts on their sleeves. I was rooting for them to find their happy medium and make it work. Stacey Lynn does a great job of making me feel all their ups and downs. Even though you know how it will end, the journey was an enjoyable ride and a book that I wholeheartedly recommend!

The story is well done here, but I really struggled to get through the writing. A story that should have flowed easily was difficult to sit and read more than a chapter or two without taking a break or getting distracted. It was the first book by this author that I've read and I'll probably give her another chance because she can tell a good story with good characters and hopefully find an editor that can help smooth out the actual writing.

I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between Teagan and Corbin was a great read a well written. I whole heartedly recommend this book written by Stacey Lynn. This book has love, lust, suspense, grieving, family secrets, no cheating, good friends, betrayal and a HEA ending. I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Charming and incredibly diverting, Fake Wife is the epitome of a heartfelt and romantic love story!
After reading Filthy Player, I was instantly intrigued with the author. So reading Fake Wife was a no-brainer. The author takes the story of the prototypical fake relationship and makes it 100% her own. Apart from the steamy and erotic aspects, the book exudes a gamut of emotions within it’s pages. From heartbreak to happiness, sorrow to success, loneliness to love, each scene is marked with impassioned writing by the author.
The characters’ chemistry is influential throughout the story, and brings a captivating and intense magnetism until the very end. The circumstances each character endures makes the story that much stronger, proving that simply loving someone might not be enough for a happily ever after.
Great love stories have one thing in common: the author’s exquisite ability at storytelling. Fake Wife transforms from a simple love story to one that enraptures readers with it’s emotion, conviction, and vitality. Beautifully penned, this book is an insta-must read, and one you won’t be able to put down.
5 Stars!

A sweet and sexy read that you couldn’t help but to fall in love with!

Fake Wife by Stacey Lynn is a sweet and romantic read.
I really enjoyed this book, I liked both Corbin and Teagan's characters. They made me smile and they made me swoon with their romance.
Their relationship might have started out a business agreement but it doesn't take long for both to start having feelings for each other. They had an easy rapport, which made it easy opening up to each other and finding what they've been missing in life.
Love and understanding.
Overall, Fake Wife is a lovely afternoons read. All the characters were a joy getting to know and I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed this book from the first page, felt a bit disappointed with Teagan near the end, but it ended nicely and sweetly. I'm looking forward to the next book

This was a really engaging and enjoyable story. That drew me in from the start. As the characters were likable and the story itself had enough elements to it. Too really hold my interest throughout, and even though it was a little emotional at times. It also was very easy to read. And as someone new to this author I would certainly read more from her in the future. Especially if the story involved some of the secondary characters from this particular book. Which I would happily recommend to others.

5 out of 5 stars
Corbin & Teagan meet after a fender bender. They’re both lost and in need of the other’s help, but they don’t count on their emotions getting involved in their solutions. From the very beginning they are fighting their true feelings and confused about truth versus reality.
I loved this story simply because it was so well written and the characters were absolutely relatable. I could feel Corbin’s pain from losing his grandma. I could connect with Teagan’s anger at her ex-boyfriend. The whole story just played out like a movie in my head.
It was honestly insta-love for these two, but they tried to fight it. I was so on the edge watching them accept and deny their feelings so many times!
I enjoyed the “extras” in this book, too. Best friends. Co-workers. The cabin. It was just so well written that I can’t get out of the setting.
