Teagan’s day started awful and it’s only going to get worse. First she was laid off from her job at the library, due to cut backs. Then when she goes home in the middle of the day, she catches her boyfriend in bed with someone else. As she packs her clothes in a suitcase, and takes off, she gets into a car accident with Portland’s most eligible bachelor. See, worst day ever! Confronting him and apologizing, Teagan wonders how she’s going to pay for the damages. However, he’s not yelling at her, Corbin Lane is more concerned about her than his car. When he recommends they pull over and go to the nearby coffee house, Teagan can’t imagine things are going to go well.
Corbin is currently mad at the world. He just buried his beloved grandmother that raised him, and then he was told the contents of her will. In order to get her home, he has to marry in six months and stay married for two years, otherwise, everything goes to his father. He doesn’t care about the money, but he can’t let his father take the home he grew up in and turn it into a mall. He needs to find a fake wife and fast. When he is rear-ended by Teagan, he sees it as a sign. She’s gorgeous and so honest that he makes her a proposition that he hopes she won’t refuse.
Teagan has never been one to jump at any decision, however, she’s unemployed, homeless and broke, so she seriously considers Corbin’s offer. The last thing she expected was to start having feelings for him.
This was a story well told with lots of sexy moments and swooning. I highly recommend this book.

I've been waiting for this book since the summer so I was super excited to dive in.
I'll admit, it took me a few chapters to fully get on board with these two. While I liked them as individuals (they are such genuine people), I was worried their connection was only skin-deep initially. But as they spent more time together, I was rewarded with what I love the most about fake relationship stories: a fantastic connection between two unlikely people.
Despite the quick nature of the story, I really could feel the strength of feelings they shared. They had this comfort with each other that just amplified the longer they spent time together. And seeing as they are just great individual characters, it was awesome to see them come closer the more they learned about each other. They complement each other so well so I adored their story together.
I also liked that the plot wasn't overly dramatic or too over the top. It has it's dramatic moments for sure but it all just worked for this story. You don't have these unnecessary scenarios thrown at them simply for the sake of stirring up drama. These two had real problems to work out and I loved watching them do that with each other. It was nice to read a story that focused on the romance and keeping the drama simple but effective for their journey.
The romance, as I said, started a little rough for me but by the end, I was completely infatuated with them. They have this great sexual tension between them that continues to build as the story progresses.
This is a great contemporary romance that fans of the "fake relationship trope" will no doubt devour!

I am a fan of the marriage of convenience to falling in love troupe! Fake Wife fits that bill nicely! It was an interesting story and totally believable!
Corbin is a wealthy guy and a confirmed bachelor. When his grandma dies, she leaves him her estate. He's always loved her house as it was the only place he felt at home in. But in order to keep it, his grandma made the provision he needs to be married. If he doesn't, the estate falls to his father, who is all too happy to raze the place and make it into a mall. Corbin can not let that happen, but where will he find someone who is wife material when he has never dated anyone beyond a single night??
Teagan is having the day from hell! She loses her job due to budget cuts. Once she returns home, she finds her boyfriend "enjoying" someone else's company! She packed up all she owns into her car, and heads out not sure of what she will do next. Deep in thought, Teagan smashes her car into the rear end of Corbin's car at a stoplight. Teagan recognizes him as Portland's sexiest bachelor-and knows he's wealthy beyond belief. Can her day get any worse? Corbin doesn't seem to be all that mad at her though. He offers her to sit down with him, have dinner, and talk. During that talk, Corbin makes a brash move and offers Teagan a deal she would be stupid to turn down. She would marry him, stay for two years, and collect enough money to make all her dreams come true. No sex, no feelings, just play the part until her payday. Only things get mucked up big time when they fall for each other!
Corbin and Teagan are good together! I liked their dynamic. Both were sentimental people and wore their hearts on their sleeves. I was rooting for them to find their happy medium and make it work. Stacey Lynn does a great job of making me feel all their ups and downs. Even though you know how it will end, the journey was an enjoyable ride and a book that I wholeheartedly recommend!
4 Stars/4 Flames
This book was gifted to me and I chose to leave a voluntary review. The review and ratings are solely my opinions.

4.25 'Hold onto your dreams' Stars!
This story is exactly what my book-loving heart was craving.
It was a quick and sweet read that kept me completely entertained from start to finish.
Teagan and Corbin are both having quite a terrible day, to say the least. But that all changes when they crash into each other...literally. Teagan rear-ended his car and what seems like another crappy thing to add to an already crappy day, might just end up changing their lives forever.
Corbin Lane is one of the wealthiest playboys in the city. At least that's what all the gossip magazines make him out to be. The world doesn't get to see the passionate, generous side of him. And I loved how Teagan's genuine kind and beautiful heart was able to slowly peel back the layers and had him opening up to her.
The sexy banter and obvious attraction they felt for one another had me on the edge, just wanting them to give in.
Oh, but when they finally do come to their senses, it's just the most satisfying thing!
Fake Wife is a sexy, fast-paced romance which is sure to deliver on ALL the feels!

Corbin and Teagan meet unexpectedly and very quickly decide to be in a “fake” relationship to help him receive money that was promised to him in his grandmothers will ( if he gets married by a certain time) and she will get paid in return as well. Of course, their fake relationship doesn’t feel so fake for either of them. They start to fall for each other. This was a great, steamy romance novel with characters you will love.

I absolutely adored this fast paced romance book. It captured my attention from beginning to end.
Teagan has a shit day and I mean a shitastic day and it ends in the most awkward and maybe bizarre way when she rear ends the back of Corbin’s car.
What happens from there had me devouring this book whole. I loved their journey and as unconventional and maybe to some unrealistic it may be I was completely engaged in this book.
I loved the moments with the two of them and sometimes I think fate has a funny way of making the most impossible things happen. This book really captured that for me.
It isn’t smooth sailing and oh we “bumped” into each when life handed us a bag of shit and lived blissfully ever after. There were definitely moments of doubt and ups and downs. But the connection these two had with one another was definitely something I felt.
Both from different worlds but had the same dreams and it made me all giddy.
It’s definitely a book I would recommend if you are looking for a quick read that will hit all your romance requirements.

This is my first book by Stacey Lynn and I am kicking myself for reading her sooner. I really enjoyed this book and once I started I couldn’t put it down. This was the perfect mix of romance and learning to trust someone.
Corbin has just lost one of the most important people to him, his grandma. Now that she is gone he is worried about what will happen to her house. Her house is the only place that ever felt like home to Corbin. He is worried what will happen if his dad gets his hands on the house and the property.
When his grandma’s will is read Corbin finds out there is a stipulation with getting the house. He has to be married for two years. In the circles he runs in he can’t think of anyone he would want to be married to. All of that changes when he get rear-ended.
Teagan has had the worst day of her life and doesn’t think it can get any worse. Wrong, she ends up rear-ending someone. A man who is gorgeous and out of her league. She had no idea that day would change her life for the better.
This book had the perfect amount of romance and steam. I loved the characters and the secondary characters so much. I can’t wait to read another book by this author.

Oh this book! It was amazing. Who knew a series of unfortunate events would lead to finding the love of your life in the most unexpected way! I really enjoyed Corbin's character as this story progressed. His discovery of love but also how much he was grounded regardless of his upbringing. He is a big jaded with everything that had happened with his family's turmoil. His only saving grace is is grandma and boy does she send him for a ringer! Then you have Teagan who comes up on his blind side or rear-side? But the chemistry off of these two was brilliant and the side characters added so much depth to it as well. Overall, LOVED this book!

The reading of the will for Corbin's grandmother was not what he was expecting. Get married within 6 months, stay married for 2 years and he will receive the house and land that he has always loved. If he doesn't, it all goes to his father. That is the last thing Corbin wants because he knows his father will sell the property to be torn down and parceled out.
Teagan has had one of the worst days of her life. She gets laid off from her job, only to come home early and find her long time fiancee in bed with another woman. She packs her car up with everything she owns and takes off. Next thing she knows, she rear ends a Mercedes. Instead of the irate rich guy she expects, she meets Corbin who is more concerned about her than his car. Corbin realizes right away that Teagan may be in the right position to help him with his grandmothers will.
This was exactly what I needed after finishing a really heavy read. I'm a fan of the fake relationship trope and this was a pretty sweet, low to mid angst read. There is some conflict with these two starting out in a fake relationship but the author kept it to the minimum, which I really liked about the story. Both characters are very likable and I enjoyed watching these two dance around the instant attraction they have for each other.
This was a fun read! ARC provided by Netgalley.

I really tried to invest in this one - but unfortunately it just never hooked me. It seems like the book I should have immediately lost myself in. I liked that it was relatively low angst. I liked how feisty Teagan was, and how she didn't let Corbin treat her poorly. However, I didn't particularly care for Corbin and honestly he struck me as weak and whiney more than anything. I lost patience with him around the 60% mark and wound up DNFing at 63%. Unfortunately, this one just wasn't for me.

Sweet, beautiful, and oh so sexy!
Teagan has had a terrible day when she runs into Corbin. Corbin has had a day himself. What happens when Corbin springs this crazy notion on an unsuspecting Teagan?
Wow! What a beautifully sweet and sexy book! I love these two characters so much! Their compassion for others is amazing! Don't even get me started on their chemistry...It's off the charts!
I couldn't put this book down! A fantastic love story! A definite MUST READ!!!

Fake Wife by Stacey Lynn
The marriage was supposed to just be business until it became much, much more.
Stacey Lynn did a great job writing Fake Wife, I was hooked from the start of the book. From the title, Fake Wife I was expecting something different then Teagan and Sterling’s story. I instantly loved Teagan. From the start, I was drawn into the story because of her, the way Stacey Lynn put the words together was great. This was a great story all around. It was funny, cute and addicting. Very well written, great job Stacey Lynn for another great book!
*I was provided an arc from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. *

Things are not always what they seem. This story proved that. This is a 4,5 star story that I enjoyed very much.
Teagan’s day goes from bad to worst. A chance encounter with a sexy, rich man might be the solution to her problem. Corbin makes her an offer that makes it very difficult for her to refuse.
I truly enjoyed this sweet, swooning unconventional love story. Corbin is really not who I thought he was going to be. He was so much more than his rich persona. His selfless acts make him sweet and lovable.
Beautifully written story with a great storyline that flowed well. There were never unnecessary details that dragged on. The story was straight to point by being addicting and captivating. I also enjoyed the perfectly created characters.
Standalone told in a dual POV with an HEA. I highly recommend this story.

This was an enjoyable entry in the billionaire-must-make-a-fake-marriage trope in romance literature. It starts off with another familiar romance trope - the heroine who loses her job and finds her boyfriend cheating on her all on the same day. That’s how Teagan’s day starts. And it only gets worse, or maybe better, she she drives her car into the back of the car of Sterling Lane, well-known billionaire sex stud in Portland. Sterling takes a few moments to decide that Teagan should move into his apartment and be his fake wife so he can fulfill his grandmother’s will in order to inherit her house which is the only place he’s ever been happy. They proceed with their fake romance which doesn’t fool much of anyone.
Given that these are very familiar plot lines in romance novels, it helps that both Teagan and Sterling are likeable people and the reader will cheer for them realize what they really feel for each other. I enjoyed the alternating narrations from each.
I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Teagan and Corbin are a fun and feisty couple. Teagan literally bumps into Corbin and sparks fly. Their story is a romantic roller coaster that has this couple racing towards a happily ever after together.

"Sometimes, when things are right, even when they seem crazy, you know it."
Stacey Lynn is a master at creating a low angst, passionate, love stories. Sometimes the worst day of your life, becomes the best.....
Corbin and Teagan are both dealing with struggles such as loss and utter betrayal. And Teagan might be just the person Corbin is looking for, to solve his problems. So Corbin comes and saves the day, and soon sparks fly.
The banter and tender moments in this story was so heartwarming to read,

Fake Wife by Stacey Lynn is the story of Corbin and Teagan. I love this author and she didn’t disappoint with this book. I was hooked from the beginning. It is a sweet romance about 2 broken people who with an unexpected run in turn out to be what the each needed and never imagined it would happen for them. I highly recommend this book!!!

Overall I thought it was good book, the story was fun, both Teagan and Corbin were interesting characters. Liked his "real job"; enjoyed his friends, hope we can have their stories soon

"Sometimes, when things are right, even when they seem crazy, you know it."
I decided to give Fake Wife a try because I enjoyed the author's Nordic Lords MC series. I'm happy to report that the author convinced me, she can tackle any subject and do it justice. Whether it be a badass biker or Portland’s sexiest bachelor, she had me sighing with satisfaction.
Teagan, has the most awesome name, but the very worst luck. Everything that could go wrong in a single day... did. After getting laid off from her job she goes back home, earlier than usual. You get where I'm going with this, right? Douchebag boyfriend isn't expecting her, and she's not expecting what she finds when she gets there. And of course, she's not gonna stick around and discuss the extra blonde in her bedroom, so she packs her bags. And having nowhere to take those bags, they end up in her car. And not that I blame her, cuz I probably would do the same thing, but getting behind the wheel of her car when she couldn't see through her tears was an accident waiting to happen. And an accident did happen, making it the pièce de résistance of an epically bad day.
Corbin has a conscience, which is what makes him different from his father. He actually has feelings for people other than himself. He is extremely popular with the ladies and would have absolutely no problems finding a wife to fulfill the terms of his grandmother's will. But two years is a long time to be stuck with someone who couldn't see more than dollar signs when she looks at him. When he sees Teagan for the first time, he knows it's not the wreck that is causing the devastation he sees in her eyes, it's the result of it. Seeing all her possessions thrown all over her car, he knows she needs help. Why not help each other? Surely, being down on her luck she'd be agreeable to what he was proposing. It would be beneficial for both of them. Problem solved. He'd get a Fake Wife without all the complications, and she'd get enough money to start over and pursue her dream.
What neither of them considered was the possibility that they would want more. That the chemistry between them would be so strong that they were both mentally amending the no-sex clause of their fake marriage contract. What a wonderful time I had reading this treasure. I was especially drawn to Corbin and how he shared with me how Teagan made him feel. Both above and below his belt. I was drawn into his grief and memories and his hopes and fears. I adore his best friends and really hope the author decides to give them their own book(s) in the future. *fingers crossed* 🤞

This is my first book by Stacey Lynn.
What I liked:
The writing style
The characters
Dual POVs
Standalone
HEA
Hoping Trey and Caitlin get their own stories.
I look forward to reading more from this author.
