Wow.. this novella had so much suspense my jaw is aching from all the teeth clenching I did. Kendra's books should come with mouth guards to protect your teeth haha.

Well deserved 5 stars for one of my favourite authors. The talent Kendra possesses for drawing you into a story is incredible!

Truth Be Told wraps up the thrilling story started in Twisted Truth. Another sensational opening that includes two FBI agents murdered and the young boy who went through so much in the first, being being missing again.

Police Chief Zane Duncan and his wife Stevie are in charge of the case of the murdered FBI agents and the missing boy as the whole town of Solitude is cut off from the outside world due to flooding. They realize that the killer or killers are also stuck somewhere within Solitude and race against time to find the boy as clues are revealed as to who all the bad guys are and the why's...

This series at its core has always been about the Taylor's. Two sister, Stevie and Carly, and their family. It was great to see momma Patsy get a potential love interest and their brother Bruce finally getting serious and now a rookie with the sheriff's department.
