this book ... needed to be more. This book should have been at the top of the list due to how much is in it. This book either shouldn't exist of it should have existed better. It felt very repetitive from all the other books that you could skim it!!! and seriously this author is one of my favorites and it made me so sad to experience that with her writing.
the pros:
Shane develops as a character
Seth gets a book (its poison kisses..and I loved it)
some loose ends get tied up.

Cons:
does anyone even care about "Reagan" ... seriously do any of the readers?
overly cheesy/repetitive.. I don't think one cup of coffee should be romanticized as much as this series did it...
Do Shane and Emily even have a relationship?? it just feels like emotional support aka sex when life is complicated.
its not a very believable outcome... ill allow the HEA action but the rest just felt .. toooo easy??!

Lisa Renee Jones did not disappoint in delivering a sexy, suspenseful conclusion to one of her best series yet!

End Game by Lisa Renee Jones starts off in chaos and blood, right where we were left in Bad Deeds (Dirty Money Book 3). Shane is challenged even more in this book. Even after three previous books these characters start to grow and Shane and Emily's connection and relationship becomes even more. As usual, nothing is every simple in the Dirty Money series and there were difficult times, pain and drama throughout as past histories continue to haunt them.

I liked how Shane and Emily were with each other, with a deeper relationship and romance as well as passion with the added cast of characters growing and adding as well. This was definitely an emotionally dynamic book with constant ups and downs, twists and turns, never knowing quite where things were going to end up. While we do get resolution, there were hints of some strings left loose, so who knows there may be some add on books for other characters?

Overall, I recommend End Game by Lisa Renee Jones as a much anticipated finale to the Bad Deeds series. It was filled with suspense, romance, passion and complexity.

“I didn’t want to fall in love, now or ever,” I admit. “But I did, and you can’t possibly know what you mean to me now or you would understand that I have to protect you.

And so we come to the conclusion of the Dirty Money series with End Game and what an ending it was. We pick up right where we left off in the last book and if you remember it was a huge cliff hanger leaving the fate of Emily and Derek up in the air and Shane promising Adrain that he will end him. Shane really shines in this book, I think it is the best depiction of his feelings and the lengths he is willing to go to save the ones he loves. Shane is determined to save his company at all cost even if that means he has to save it from his own family.

“You are my whole world. And I cannot lose you.” Her hand comes to my face. “You aren’t going to lose me.”

There is so much I want to say about this book and I just can't without any spoilers. However it is my favorite of the series and a must read if if you been following the series if you haven't stated it than your going to want to because this book really was good. There was the most depth of the series in this book. I felt like I connected with the characters so much more than any other book. The growth and feelings of the characters we so true and strong you can't help but root for them.
Shane and Emily are stronger than ever and their love for each other really shines through in this book on a much more emotional level versus the physical level that most of the first three books covered. I actually think this series would have been more amazing as a duet instead of a four book series.

“It’s just you and me, sweetheart. It has been since the day we met.”

An amazing ending to the series but I do hope for more to come. It’s full of suspense, loss, acceptance, love and so much more. It will leave you breathless, heartbroken, steaming mad and a whole lot of other emotions. It will capture your attention and hold you captive from the first word to the last word on the last page but leave you begging for more.

“The End Game will be mine….”

Eeeep!!!! The wait is finally over! END GAME, the adrenaline-pumping finale to Lisa Renee Jones’ riveting 4 book Dirty Money series, reaches an EPIC conclusion! This New York Times bestselling author is a master at weaving an intricate web of breathtaking passion, heart palpitating danger and mind bending mystery/suspense, and she SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST with this explosive final chapter!

The Story:
END GAME picks up right where the jaw-dropping ending of BAD DEEDS left off , where a bloody ambush, courtesy of Brandon Enterprises ties to the Martinez cartel, leaves the lives of the two people Shane loves most in the world hanging in the balance--his black sheep brother Derek and Emily Stevens, the beautiful and mysterious woman who has captured his heart. Shane has always been the calm and steady force in his screwed up, wildly dysfunctional family, the anchor in a sea of chaos, but for the first time in his life his world is spinning out of control and there’s not a darn thing he can do to stop it!

In the devastating aftermath of the shooting, Shane must pick up the pieces of his tattered life and somehow try to move forward from the catastrophic chain of events while struggling with the storm of fury, paralyzing guilt and self-recrimination that rages inside of him. But he does not have ample time to lick his wounds. Danger and treachery still abound, coming from all sides, and he must pool all his resources, call in every favor, draw on EVERY LAST EMOTIONAL RESERVE he possesses to neutralize his enemies, keep his beloved woman safe and fulfill his promise to save Brandon Enterprises from financial ruin, all the while trying to extricate his family from the dirty tentacles of the Mexican cartel once and for all.

No matter what it takes, VENGEANCE and VICTORY will be his. But at what cost?

My Thoughts:
END GAME is, in my opinion, by far the most gut-wrenching and emotionally-riveting book in the series! The feels were UNRELENTING, oozing with raw, guttural emotion and searing intensity, the red hot interludes UTTERLY INTOXICATING, and the drama so PALPABLE I was literally holding my breath during some scenes! All heightened by Ms. Jones’ brilliant use of flashbacks that chronicle key, GAME-CHANGING moments throughout the 4 book saga. I was truly on the edge of my seat throughout, clutching my chest, gasping for breath, and writhing in ecstasy!

As was the case with each spine-tingling, action packed, pulse-pounding installment in the series, Lisa Renee whips ups a heady cocktail of love and lust, passion and peril, suspense and subterfuge! And of course the MAIN INGREDIENT that binds everything together is the powerful and provocative love story between Shane and Emily that truly stands the text of time! If I thought I loved Shane before…omg it reached MAMMOTH proportions in this book!! His devotion to his woman was so fierce and primal and all-consuming it made my heart throb!!!!!

“She is sweetness. She is perfection. She is the light in the darkness that I can find nowhere else.”

And Emily’s unfaltering commitment and loyalty toward Shane, even during the most trying of times, was beyond breathtaking! This unstoppable duo truly exemplifies for me the quintessential “us against the world” power couple! They were a force to be reckoned with, a ferocious united front through thick and thin, and I rooted for them EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. And the payoff was sweet indeed!

Bottom Line:
Lisa Renee Jones could not have penned a more spellbinding, emotionally satisfying finale to the Dirty Money series, where Wall Street does indeed meet Sons of Anarchy!

However, even as I bask in the glory of Emily and Shane finally jetting off into the sunset together, I STILL. WANT. MORE! And one of my favorite things about this author is that where one door shuts, another door opens…and YAY…by book’s end, Ms. Jones cleverly set the stage for more juicy drama to unfold in the Dirty Money universe! And I for one could not be more pleased!

Fitting end to an entertaining series. I very much enjoyed it and I look forward to the adjacent book Poison Kisses.

Whew.

Finally, not a cliffhanger. Also, this book is 100% absolutely not a standalone.

This book broke my heart in places, and there were some parts that were just hard to read as it was NOT how I wanted things to go. But, at the same time, it worked so well.

And, really, that is all I can say. Because, spoilers. And, how in the heck do I review the end of this 4-book series without them and go into any depth about the story? The answer, especially for this one, is I don't. Because, at the end of the 3rd book, there is a life or death kind of cliffhanger, and, well, to tell you what happens in the 4th one tells you the resolution of the cliffhanger in the 3rd one.

So, I am going to say that, by the end, I was satisfied with the story, and I was pleased with how it ended, and mostly pleased with the way it evolved and where the characters were left at the end. There are a couple of things I would have done differently, but at the same time, I get the reasons things happened as they did.

Overall, I recommend both the series and this title as the finish of the series.

I love love love Lisa’s novels 💕 and “ End Game” was no exception. I’ve become invested in the Hero and Heroine which always elevates the story( at least for me). Wonderful character development as always, plenty of sexy times, and loads of suspense. Read this book!

I finally got my hands on the ending of this story! Lisa Renee Jones has woven layers upon layers of mystery in this fast paced, intricate and riveting romantic suspense, filled with page scorching heat. End Game picks where Bad Deeds left off. Obviously, this series should be read in order, but the author provides a very useful character and past plot summary at the beginning of the book.

Going into this book, I was on the edge of my seat! The cruel cliffhanger at the end of Bad Deed killed me! I don’t want to give anything away, but I found this final installment totally satisfying. The major puzzle pieces slowly fall into place and questions are answered, although there was room for more resolution, in my opinion. But the author did a great job of giving me the happily ever after I so wanted for Emily and Shane.

The writing style of Ms. Jones is utterly addicting, this final installment was an intense ride of suspense. I never can get enough of her fast-paced, sexy and compelling stories. This series has come to a conclusion, but I can’t wait to see what this author has in store next, starting with her next series “Poison Kisses”, featuring Seth Cage, Shane’s right-hand man and head of security at Brandon Enterprises.

Love this series but the madness had to end. Sometimes I can't handle a series ending but when Shane also known as Superman to me became Batman I couldn't take it. Superman is good and has a moral code but Batman is willing to do anything to win and Shane was embracing Batman. If you've read the previous books you know this is a shell game and every character was playing, and you don't know until you know. There is love hope hot sex but the chaos and unknown is what I love and why I kept reading.

This book tested my boundaries, It's not like other books I've read. I definitely loved it thought! It's addictive and not a book I'll forget in a hurry!

From the very start, "End Game" had me on the edge of my seat. If you've read the third book - Bad Deeds you would completely understand exactly why. The uncertainty continues on and does not let up for quite some time in the End Game.

Without giving much away, it is heartwrenching and at first, I couldn't get past how the author could have let some of the things happen. As I came to accept the loss, however, I began to see why she went that route and appreciated the story more.

I loved how it became more and more about Shane. His persona definitely shined in this one. Here is this guy who would literally do anything for the people he loved. He put his life on the line numerous time even for the people who didn't deserve it.

Beside him was a woman just as worthy of love. What was great was how they each challenged each other to be their best. The short back flashes from the very first book was such a great touch. It reminded you just how far this pair had truly come.

It was definitely a rough journey but in the end, it was perfect! I couldn't ask for a better ending for Shane and Emily. Thank you, Lisa Renee Jones, for delivering yet another great romantic suspense series!

Lisa Renee Jones delivers another solid "Dirty Money" novel with End Game. A compelling and intriguing story of Shane and Emily. I liked how the author was able to surprise and delight with this story. Good romance as well

End Game is the final book in Emily and Shane's story and it definitely was the most emotional one as well. Jones perfectly weaves both happiness and pain in this final book in the Dirty Money series. I loved these characters and admire Shane and Emily's struggle to break free of their painful pasts and family's criminal ways. I flew through each of these books in less than a day each because I could not put them down. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense with a good bit of steam. Getting to the end of this series makes me a little sad because I'm not ready to say goodbye to these characters, but I hope to see Shane and Emily in Seth's books and maybe even Jessica's if she gets her own story.

I voluntarily received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

How deep can you love?

Passion and danger collide in the explosive finale to Emily and Shane's story.

After tragedy strikes, Shane hovers on the edge of being consumed by darkness. He will fight for the woman he loves. He will destroy his enemy. He will not back down. As shocking twists, dark secrets, and explosive betrayals within the Brandon family come to the light, Shane must fight harder than ever before.

Every thread weaves a dangerous web. Emily and Derek. Brandon Senior. Maggie and her affair. The leader of the dangerous cartel who's wedged itself inside the Brandon Empire. It all comes to a head in the shattering conclusion to the Dirty Money series.

Review:

Crap, there is so much that can be given away, guess I will have to be as vague as possible.

This is the final installment of the Dirty Money series and really they should be read in order. As this story starts out exactly where the previous book left off. This send off for Emily and Shane is an emotional one, both sad and happy. Okay, for the vague-ness. There is a death that sets Shane's world reeling. For me I kept expecting the death to be staged and for that person to come back, but alas that is not meant to be and that is the major hurt in the story. There is happiness, as Shane and Emily get a surprising, satisfying and happy ending. While I enjoyed the story and the series, the ending seemed a little rushed. If you have enjoyed reading this series, you should be happy with this last installment.

Overall, series and story, very intriguing with lots of machinations and maneuvering going on, plus throw on a splash of sexy.

Rating 4.5 Stars.

Lisa Renee Jones writes consistently good novels. I hated that Bad Deeds (Dirty Money #3) ended with such a cliffhanger. Well, more specifically the ending was wonderfully suspenseful. . I hated having to wait months for End Game! I’ve loved Shane and Emily since book one, Hard Rules. Jones masterfully created these two complex characters. They’re so incredibly well defined. Their story includes layer upon layer of intrigue, much of which is revealed in shocking explosions of insight. Shane and Emily are good people but not in a soft, innocent way. Their lives have been impacted by some of the worst people and situations but they’re still capable of loving deeply and believing the best of each other. They’re understandably wary of people but not so damaged to give up their sense of right and wrong.

Jones does an excellent job of creating a long story with lots of twists and turns. It takes a lot of talent to create a four story series where the same characters have to deal with the same big picture situation yet keep the pace as fast as in these books. She’s also good at creating an “unwinnable” situation and finding creating ways of dealing with it.

I almost feel a sense of loss with the series ending. The good news is all of Jones’ series and books are equally entertain so I’m not without other stories to jump into. Or I might just start a reread of the series.
