This book was unfortunately not for me, it did however have a nice ending to the story. This romance story mainly focuses on our two main characters and is a slow-moving romance, which is why this book didn't really work for me and why I never became interested in the story, until it picked up, at the end. I did like how there was a little bit of a conflict towards the end, and how both characters fought for each other and their relationship. I also liked how not only did Noah fight and care for his girl but also for his daughter. It was really nice to see how everything worked out for all three of them and how Grace cared for Lilly as if she was her own. In the end it felt like they were a real family, which was great to see. Although this wasn't the right book for me, the story had a great ending to it, and I was happy to see how everything worked out.
interesting no strings attacged romance. military men arent always sexy to me, but he worked for a rich girl like the heroine.
A great story with a very sexy leading man. I liked Noah and Grace, their chemistry was instant and very well. I liked the story, it was entertaining and kept me reading until the late hours. I will definitely be looking out for more books by this author in the future. With steamy scenes, intense characters and a good storyline I highly recommend it.
A single dad book. This is my first book by this author and I know it will not be my last. I loved the wrtiting and everything about this book. I loved the twist and turns this book had, It kept me turning the pages and I was so into the book I was at the end before I was ready. I could not read slow enough to make it last long enough for me. I love it!!!
Beautiful, compelling romance. The characters were relatable, the plot and storyline were well thought out, and the writing was well done. Looking forward to more from this author. 4/5
Someone Like You was both sexy & deep. The author did an amazing job dealing with PTSD. And on a personal note I had to chuckle when
Noah spoke about being a civilian- my husband just retired from the Navy after 28 years & he says that word the same way ;)
I look forward to reading more by Brittney Sahin.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Noah fought everyday to give his family a better life. One thought that drove him on each deployment was that he was making the world a better place for his daughter. The only problem with all that distance is finding out his wife has been less than faithful and moving away. Noah definitely is the hero that makes you realize that a heroes life is never easy. Sacrifices must be made and he lost part of his heart in the process. Ready to move forward with his life he meets Grace. His first impression reminds him of his soon to be ex wife and leaves him feeling he will never measure up. But the thing with Noah is he never gives up and he soon realizes Grace needs him as well. I’m so happy Noah got his happy ending.

This is a new to me author. I really enjoyed the writing style and storyline. The characters are well written and the story well thought out.
Grace has everything she can think of except love. Her family is rich and is all about their business. Nothing surprises Grace more than a chance meeting with Noah in a New York bar. Noah has sworn off women. His ex left him a year ago and took his daughter with her. This is why Noah finds himself in New York to be closer to his daughter. Meeting Grace shouldn’t have been a big deal. Except he can’t get her out of his mind. It was only supposed to be sex but they got a whole lot more than they bargained for.
I really enjoyed this book. It made me get the feels and tugged at my heart strings in all the good places. I would definitely read another book by this author.
I really enjoyed this story. Even though the premise (arranged marriage) isn't very 20th century and was resolved very quickly, I do liked Noah and Grace. I loved their openness with each other and support of each other. Very romantic story.
2 stars
Call me crazy (because I am going against the grain here)..... but I found this book very slow. I struggled to get through it. I knew where the story was headed from the first chapter and was a little bored with it. I skimmed it just to see if I was right.. I was right on the money!

A heartbreaking, heart-melting emotional love story between a rich girl Grace and former SEAL Noah. After they meet in the bar a man like Noah is hard to forget and what a surprise it is when Grace finds him remodeling her apartment. They are both struggling; Grace with her past and Noah with his ex and they find comfort and get away from real life in each other arms. I liked both of them. My heart was breaking hearing Noah story because to such a great man those things should not happen. And I felt sorry for Grace because she had also suffered a lot and her family just horrible thing to have. It is a story with a lot of turns and twists and I was so happy when Grace finally was able to fight for Noah. What they found together was not just comfort but a meaning what true love is supposed to be.I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly
First time read from this author and I enjoyed her writing. The two MCs were likeable (what a concept) and together they were a good read. Sometimes you read MCs and it's just hard to see them together or root for them. Not the case here.
Grace has her personal demons (an attack in Greece) and her a-hole domineering father. I appreciated that she wasn't unaware of what was happening in her life and was trying to find her place, find her peace in the world, and wasn't anybody's doormat.
Noah, Noah, Noah. Loved this MC from the beginning to the end. He was all that plus multiple boxes of chocolate. Honorable, sexy, and just everything a hero should be - strong, sexy, alpha, sensitive, etc. His initial interactions with Grace where he wanted her and didn't want to hurt her because of what was going on in his life. He was honest with her and they both went into a relationship with eyes open.
Of course things change and sex became more. And the more between these two was everything I want in romance fiction. It was hot, angry, sexy, fun, forgiving. I loved these two MCs and wouldn't have minded a chapter or two more.
I liked and enjoyed Someone Like You. It really hooked me in right away and kept me hooked throughout the book. I loved the story line and thought the characters were great. Cant wait to read more.
From the first chapter, I was hooked on Grace and Noah's story. Would 10 of 10 read another title by Brittany Sahin.
Grace and Noah were awesome in this book. I was hooked into the story from the first page. If you enjoy good writing and a good story that pulls you along with it, this is the book you want.

The beginning was a little slow me but when I started on it I kept on going..
The plot and the both the characters captured me. And add all the secondary characters. It is well written book.
I got to point out; It has been some time since I have read a book that is just Romance. No Fantasy or mystery in it.
Unless you count the Will they stay together? & Will he get his daughter? Questions as either Mystery or Suspense.
The book and the plot surprised me along the way and it was a good one. Not boring. The Romance was like a wave. When it came it would sweep you off your feet.
Noah and Grace is different from other. Two different backgrounds. But they connected, both physically and emotionally. And I felt that connection in every piece of themselves they showed each other.
A Romance worth reading for me.
I loved this book, There were so many different things going on, but they ended up connecting all the characters in one way or another. This book focused on the love of a father, and the greed of another one. When fates throws Noah and Grace together just when things start to get worse, will they be each others downfall or saving grace? Thank you for letting me read this ARC and write a honest review.
Noah loved being a SEAL. He enlisted so he could go to college to study to be an architect, but never it made it, becasue he loved being a SEAL. He also married his high school sweetheart, Cindy, and they have a young daughter, Lily. But now he has 4 months to go on his current assignment and is deciding whether or not to re-enlist. Shortly before he is preparing to parachute into Iraq, Cindy informs him that she is filing for divorce, moving to NYC and then marrying a wealthy man that she has been having an affair with- and she wants full custody of Lily, so he can just stay in the SEALS. Months later he is living in NYC, working for his sister' company Bella Designs, as a carpenter. He first meets Grace at a bar and then coincidentally, Bella is redesigning her loft. They are drawn to each other, but he can only concentrate on Lily and she has her own baggage that she is dealing with. So they agree to just be friends with benefits. Sure, that's gone to work, lol.
I read an Arc provided by netgalley, com for an honest review. The story was very strong with Noah and Grace each dealing with their own problems, but reaching out to help the other with their problems. Not only were the main characters well developed, but so were all the others. Not all the conflicts were resolved to the reader's liking, which only made the story more real. And who doesn't like to read about SEALS? The one con, is that it was totally out of character for Noah to not have read the sealed envelope that Cindy handed to him, as a SEAL always needs to be prepared.
