I do not know how this little book ended up in my hands, most likely chosen in a moment of tiredness and confusion. Having read all of Castaneda in my youth, in fact, 'The profecy of Celestine' cured me of the habit of reading books on healing through meditation. Not least because, and this is also the case, those who write them claim to have risen after hitting rock bottom, but this claim leaves me doubtful and perplexed. The book also has few linguistic merits and the only real positive trait is its brevity. By this I do not mean that it is a bad book or a book not to be read, only that it is only recommended for those who fear reality.
