Overall: 3.5 stars — All in all a solid quadrology (or whatever you call it). My only problem is that they all felt rushed at the end. Which is a common novella problem, I get that…but I noticed it in almost every one. I also wasn’t expecting 2 of the stories to be more New Year’s centric.

‘Tis the Season to Kiss Santa by Kate Hardy
3.5 stars — I actually thought this one was pretty cute, but it was definitely a case of the novella not being enough for me. I felt like the ending came fairly quickly, and I wanted more, probably b/c there was a lot to Ellie and Mitch, and so I still had questions! Ellie was pretty adorable and sassy! Mitch started off really cold, which made his turnaround seem pretty fast, but I did feel like he really learned something from the kids. All in all it was fun, it just moved a bit fast and left me wanting more.

‘Tis the Season to Get Lucky by Heidi Rice
3.5 stars — There were a lot of little things going on in this story, and for the most part I think it added. I appreciated that the phobia helped to make them comfortable with each other quickly. I will admit that his advances came on fairly suddenly, and my 2018+ female brain was all “well, that wasn’t super clear consent” on the kiss, but I think that’s just new brain thinking, you know? Otherwise they were both interesting characters who each jumped to conclusions about the other, and learned something. I definitely felt their connection, even if it was a bit quick.

‘Tis the Season to be Kissed by Amy Andrews
3 stars — This one was going along fine…and then I had a nap in the middle, and when I went back to it, I’d just lost the connection. Both characters were pretty funny, but I just couldn’t get into reading it, so I ended up speed reading it. I think it was me though… I mean, yeah, it was fast, and I didn’t always understand some of Tamara’s reactions, but to lose my verve like that, it’s usually a mood thing.

‘Tis the Season to be Tempted by Aimee Carson
4 stars — At first I was worried I wouldn’t connect with Evie, as she’s very unlike me. But I really liked the connection that she and Wes had with one another in the past that has continued into today — both secretly attracted, but resistant, and with misconceptions. I loved their chemistry, and the resistance was really hot…their steamy scene was definitely the best. I guess the only con I have is that I kinda wanted to see how her family reacted at the end…I needed just a bit more to feel confident in their newfound relationship.

A good selection of Christmas novellas. All the author's were new to me and I enjoyed their writing, not enough that I am tempted to run out and buy their books.

What a fabulous festive treat this proved to be! There are four novellas written by highly talented authors, each story featuring a different couple and set during a snowstorm in the festive season . The stories are all quick reads, great for getting readers in the festive spirit, I enjoyed reading them all!

’Tis the Season to Kiss Santa by Kate Hardy has the office Christmas Grinch ‘encouraged’ to play Santa to the siblings of terminally ill patients at the behest of his soon-to-retire boss, to prove he has heart and community spirit as well as business acumen. When he meets to pastry chef who is playing Santa’s elf, this is a festive recipe with great ingredients to create a heart-warming, tasty seasonal romance!

’Tis the Season to Get Lucky by Heidi Rice has lonely, workaholic marketing manager going in to work on Christmas Day. Whilst there she discovers the son of her boss ruining displays and inadvertently causing mayhem. When a sudden, severe snowstorm leaves them trapped in the store, discovering more about each other, exploring possibilities and having fun make this a fun, festive escapade!

’Tis the Season to be Kissed by Amy Andrews has a kindergarten teacher escaping to the cabin owned by her friend’s parents. She’s had no luck with love and has decided not to join Georgia in New York, mixing with all the happy couples. Instead she’s supping the pitcher of egg nog that Georgia has made for her when, unexpectedly, Georgia’s handsome, attractive, brother turns up. He’s spent 36 hours returning from duty in Afghanistan and had a horrendous journey . . . . and certainly didn’t expect to be greeted by a golf club wielding incumbent when he enters what he’d thought would be the deserted cabin. As the attraction between the two grows the snow traps them in but the atmosphere heats up as midnight and the New Year approach . . .

’Tis the Season to be Tempted by Aimee Carson is possibly my favourite of the bundle. It involves the rebellious younger sister returning home for the festive season. She’s anxious about flying, so has a drink to help her cope - but she’s a lightweight and it goes straight to her head. Hearing her making a fuss, Wes Campbell goes to help calm her down. Her brother is his best friend but this doesn’t help him turn off the attraction that builds between them - especially when a snowstorm has them stranded, sharing a room! Get ready for fun with kitchen utensils help tempt them both to explore possibilities and give romance a chance!

The stories have many things in common - great characters, a snowstorm and heart-warming romance. Each author puts their own festive take on their story and they are all easy, steamy reads. They also all end somewhat abruptly and I really wish they had epilogues to hint at what comes next - with them, they’d have been a 5* bundle! However, use your imagination and write your own epilogues as these are great festive reads that’ll help get you in the festive mood!

I requested and received a copy of this, via NetGalley. This is my honest review after choosing to read it.

I enjoyed the stories in this book. However, I would have liked a bit more character development and time for a relationship to build. I will try to read full length books by these authors. Sometimes when publishers try to put too many authors together it leaves the readers wanting more of the back story that is lacking.

Forget the roasting chestnuts and the ghosts of Christmas past. 'Tis the Season to fall in love and it's coming upon us fast. 'Tis the Season is a front row invitation, a celebration of love. Here's to fresh starts, opens hearts, hope for the future and happily ever afters. So order up some extra mistletoe, prepare to dim the lights and cuddle up in front of the fire and head toward paradise. It may be cold outside, but it's getting hot in here!

'Tis the Season to be Tempted - More than the fire is blazing with Amy Andrews and Aimee Carson steering the wheel. New possibilities are on the verge of being revealed.

"Tis the Season humor and heart take center stage. And a hint of seduction, I hear is all the rage. Heidi Rice and Kate Hardy set the roof on fire. Naughty antics prove to be a wickedly good time.

These four novellas are perfect for getting into the holiday spirit!!

Beginning on Christmas Eve and ending on New Year's Day, each novella follows a couple who heat up the room! I finished this bundle in one sitting. All four novellas are well written and have great character development even though the stories are short.

This bundle has me ready to read nothing but Christmas stories for the rest of the year!

*This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

'Tis the Season Bundle is a collection of 4 short stories that happen around Christmas time. My favorite story is ‘Tis the Season to Kiss Santa by Kate Hardy. It moved me which is not normal for a novella. I wish we had found out what happened to that little boy. I also feel like it was the best-constructed story of the four.

‘Tis the Season to Get Lucky by Heidi Rice. Ryder is a nice person and I liked him. He is a good father to his daughter even if the circumstances are not the best. Kate was a little uptight and I didn't like her as much. This was my least favorite story out of the four, but it wasn't very bad. Getting stuck in a mall is not as exciting as it was in this novel.

For 'Tis the Season to be Tempted by Aimee Carson the only thing that you need to know is that the main characters are great and you will like them.

'Tis the Season to be Kissed by Amy Andrews was the most rushed novella for me. It ended on a happy note on New year's eve, but I would have liked to see more of the characters. Actually, that sentence describes all the stories in this collection. Each time I finished a story I wanted an epilogue to see how all the couples were fairing some amount of time after the evens of each story.

Overall the bundle has good steamy stories that put me in a festive spirit. I would recommend it for a cold December day.

4.5 - "It's certainly going to be a Christmas to remember." Stars!

Four likeable couples, four great stories, by four awesome authors, all centred on and around the Christmas season.

IMAGE.

What’s not to love! This little collection is perfect for the reader with a busy few weeks who still wants to indulge in a little festive reading in between the madness and mayhem. Each novella, is no longer than around the hours reading mark, and every one offers up a sexy-sweet interlude for you to escape into for a little while.

I enjoyed all four, but Amy Andrews’ offering; ’Tis the Season to be Kissed just pipped her co-authors as my favorite, but you really cannot go wrong with sticking this box set on your Kindle for Christmas.

'Tis the Season Bundle is a winter holiday anthology that includes novellas by Amy Andrews, Heidi Rice, Kate Hardy, and Aimee Carson. It is a fun, not too serious look at what can go wrong than turn out right when the weather takes over. Other than title beginnings, and the snowstorm the novellas show the individual writer’s style and creativity. Because of the length of each, the endings are more happy right now than they are happy ever after.

‘Tis the Season to Kiss Santa by Kate Hardy has bad first impressions change over the course of being stuck in a storm together. Mitch is not as bad as he seems but allows his past to control his present. In some ways, Ellie is in the same situation. A steamy story of finding love along with a new direction in life.

‘Tis the Season to Get Lucky by Heidi Rice reads like a complete story in that the two leading characters’ background are revealed. It also shows insight into their feelings and emotions which lead to their actions. Still, waiting to the last minute to buy a Christmas gift is hard to comprehend. Despite that it is a well-done story.

‘Tis the Season to be Kissed by Amy Andrews is my favorite of the four. A new Year’s resolution story with a spunky kindergarten teacher who has made some decisions in her life. I would like to believe she kept these since kissing Sergeant Luke Jackson proved to be a life changing event. Emotional, romantic and witty.

‘Tis the Season to be Tempted by Aimee Carson is an airport chance reunion that is entertaining form the beginning. The storm lead to time spend in each other’s company for childhood friends Wes and Evie. The characters are perfect for each, making you wonder why they haven’t gotten together before. I wished the story could have given an update; like what was happening with these two six months later.

4.5 Stars
An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley.

REVIEW
I thought it was time to read a few Christmas themed books so I could review them before Christmas. As I have been reading more of the contemporary genre I decided to go for this Novella anthology.

Each book has its own cover and there are different male torso's featured for each novella to represent the main male characters in the stories, which also suggest that the individual novella's are romance in genre. The bylines on the bundle cover are "Tis The Season For Romance. . . " and "Baby It's Cold Outside" both fit all the novella's within this bundle.

The genre's I have seen listed for this novella collection are Contemporary, Romance, and Holidays, which I totally agree with. The "holiday" featured in each novella is Christmas. The genre and book are certainly the type of feel good slushy read to sit by the fireside reading on the cold dark winter nights.

All the novella's are set within the holiday season of Christmas, and their main theme running through them is romance. Another theme featured within the novella's is "unlikely matches" in that those who find romance are not necessarily two individuals you would put together and expect to work out as a couple.

‘Tis the Season to Kiss Santa by Kate Hardy
The main female character is Ellie, who is visiting her Aunt Betty who is in hospital having a hip operation. Ellie takes the place of her Aunt at the children's hospice as Santa's Elf.
The main male character is Mitch Carter, he didn't have a great childhood, hence he doesn't have a lot of contact with his family and never goes home for Christmas. Mitch's boss kind of blackmails him into taking his place and being Santa at a local children's hospice siblings party. The party has been given by Mitch's boss and Ellie's Aunt at the Children's hospice for the sibling of the terminally ill children for many years.
Mitch and Ellie don't get off to the best start when Mitch is almost late. Ellie is wholeheartedly into making the party great for the children. Mitch is initially not feeling in any way festive but his mood is changed by the siblings of the children in the hospice and how kind and thoughtful they are. Mitch ends up giving Ellie a lift back to her Aunt's home, going in for a coffee and ends up stranded there because of the snow. . .
I did enjoy reading this novella, it certainly had the spirit of giving with CJ (Mitch's boss) and Betty putting on a party for children that would probably be forgotten about otherwise. The novella definitely had the "feel good" factor and was a good seasonal read. This novella is for an 18+ age group because of it's steamy nature and specific, rather explicit language. I would take a closer look at any other novella's/books by this author.

‘Tis the Season to Get Lucky by Heidi Rice
The main female character in this one is Kate Braithwaite who has recently landed a great job in Manhattan, initially she maintained a long distance relationship with her boyfriend. She is looking forward to her Skype call with him later, but when she checks her email she finds out he has dumped her via email! She goes into work deciding she may as well use her time productively. It's whilst she is working that she hears a loud noise. It turns out to be the Bosses son who was in the process of choosing a gift. Kate has heard rumours about the bosses son, that he is arrogant and stuck up too. So when Kate finds he is the cause of the noise and the disarray of the Christmas sales displays she is not impressed. But when they end up having to stay in the department store overnight due weather conditions, Kate gets to see a totally different side to Ryder. They end up having an enjoyable night but is that all it is. . . or could it lead to more.
Oh wow I really loved this novella. The way both Kate and Ryder jump to conclusions about each other, proving first impressions are not always right. Then as they get to know each other better and enjoy living the dream of being locked in a department store and using whatever they need! I really like both characters and it was a shame we didn't get to meet Ryder's daughter. This novella left you wanting to know what happened next too.

‘Tis the Season to be Kissed by Amy Andrews
Tamara is 30 years old and is hiding away from the Christmas and New Year's Eve at a friends cabin. Tamara is ready to settle down with Mr Right but all she seems to be attracting is Mr Wrong who wants a fling or a no ties relationship. It's cold at the cabin and she can't find the matches to light the open fire so she is wearing layer upon layer of clothes and drinking eggnog already at 11am in the morning!
A rather drunken Tamara is startled when she hears someone at the door of the cabin trying to get in. Tamara quickly looks around and finds a golf club as a weapon and uses it when a male figure enters the cabin. She finds herself in a tussle on the floor of the cabin with her friend Georgia's brother Luke. It turns out the bad weather means the cabin was the nearest place to home he could get transport to. Luke is 25yrs old though feels older with all he has seen on his tours of duty. He is home from Afghanistan to surprise Georgia for her birthday party. Luke soon gets the open fire going and then the drunken Tamara begins stripping her layers off much to Luke's amusement. It soon becomes apparent that they both find each other attractive, but can Tamara trust the younger male is wanting a relationship and to settle down as she is wanting. . . .Can Tamara get over the fact she is seriously crushing on her best friends younger brother....
Again I really enjoyed this novella and left me wanting to read more, like Georgia's reaction at her party when she realises what has happened between her brother and best friend. I will be checking out other novella's/books by this author.

‘Tis the Season to be Tempted by Aimee Carson
In this novella the main female character is Evie Lee Burling and she is on a plane even though she hates flying traveling home with a bunch of "I told you so" comments awaiting her at home. Evie as had an awful year whatever could go wrong quite literally has gone home.
Also on the same plane is her brother Dan's best friend Wes. Wes didn't have a great family life as a child, in fact he spent much more time round at his friend Dan's house where he was made to feel like part of the family. Most people distanced themselves and were downright rude to Wes when his father was found guilty and imprisoned for embezzling money. Dan and his family never turned their back on Wes which he still appreciates even though he has become a successful business man in his own right now. So when Wes hears Evie voicing her fears and concerns about the possibility of a plane crash he feels duty bound to try to calm her down before she gets herself thrown off the plane. Wes ends up having little choice but to sit next to Evie on the plane and ends up taking care of her when she is drunk after drinking alcohol to calm her nerves about flying.
One thing leads to another . . . Evie had sworn off men after just being dumped, but Wes is a friend. . . .she can trust Wes can't she, and its fun to wind him up as he is such a "prim & proper" male. They end up being stranded because of a weather storm too, sharing a room, but will what they have be a one night only?, or could Wes be the guy to tame the rebellious Evie?
Another great novella read that leaves you wondering how things worked out for Wes and Evie. I would have liked to read even more about these two characters.

My immediate thoughts upon finishing the novella bundle were great set of novella's to get you into that slushy Christmas mood. Certainly discovered a new Author or two to read more of.

So to finish up my thoughts after reading the whole novella bundle was that they make a great read, if you are wanting to get into the Christmas spirit. These novella's are perfect to read with a hot drink snuggled up and warm by the fire and all have a "feel good factor" within them. This bundle is a great way to discover some new contemporary genre authors too. The novella's can be read individually during your "wind down to sleep" time. .

I’m a reader who loves a good bargain, especially concerning Christmas stories. ‘Tis The Season Bundle may have been published a few years ago but do not let the date influence you on the intriguing stories inside of this bundle. Two Christmas romances and two New Year’s love stories will give you a lovely warm hug this season, and many to come (I’m a re-reader of the really good ones and this qualifies)

I enjoyed all four stories. Sure I loved some more than others but overall the magic of the holiday season is alive and well in these romances. There is always something magical about seeing someone discover what all the Christmas fuss is truly about, hearts opening to let in the spirit of the season is one of the reasons I read Christmas romance. I believe you’ll find something to enjoy and put a holiday smile on your face with each of these stories. Plus it’s a great bargain, and I’m always interested in that.

Give yourself a treat this season and fall in love for the holidays.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

A quick set of Christmas stories. From Santa and his elf, Office snowstorm, Cabin snowstorms to stranded at the airport each story has its place. Overall, you get a little glimpse of each authors writing style and a little sexy Christmas fun.

Kicking off the holidays with a bundle of short but hot stories about people finding love along tinsel, snow and carols. These quick and dirty holiday bits were a refreshing change from the usual sweet and schmaltzy holiday romance fare. No Christmas angels, ghosts, or gimmicks; just people discovering holiday horniness can lead to a holiday happily ever after.

Just like how Christmas is over before you know it, these four short romances are all about insta-lust and insta-love. The hottest, and naturally my favorite, is Amy Andrews' Tis The Season to be Kissed. A kindergarten teacher trapped in a snowbound cabin with her friend's younger brother and too much eggnog - happy holidays to me, thank you very much.

Just a warning that all four stories end with hopeful but nebulous endings, with bright hints for a HEA. These four hot holiday stories are a fun way to definitely get into the (holiday) mood.

‘Tis the Season to Kiss Santa by Kate Hardy: 3 stars
‘Tis the Season to Get Lucky by Heidi Rice: 3. 5 stars
‘Tis the Season to be Kissed by Amy Andrews: 4.25 stars
‘Tis the Season to be Tempted by Aimee Carson: 3.75 stars

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.

This 'Tis the Season bundle is sweet and sexy and just the thing to spice up your holidays.

'Tis the Season to Kiss Santa by Kate Hardy: 4 stars.

Mitch's boss is getting ready to retire and knows his second hand man is the right man to take over for him, but only if he can show the heart he knows Mitch has buried somewhere inside him. So CJ coerces Mitch into playing Santa at a local hospice, a hospice where CJ throws a Christmas party every year for the siblings of the children who lay dying in that hospice. The same hospice where CJ's own son died 25 years ago. Mitch is the last person who wants to play Santa, after all, his own ex girlfriend nicknamed him Ebenezer for a reason, but if he wants a chance at taking over the company when CJ retires, Mitch knows he has to show up. But he never expects to meet a sweet, sexy elf in the form of Ellie, the goddaughter of the woman who partners with CJ and provides the food for the party. Can a grumpy Santa who hates Christmas, thanks to his family ruining one too many Christmases with their boozy fighting and abuse, and a sweet pastry chef spice up their Christmas while spreading some joy to some children who desperately need it?

I like this one. It's sweet, it's sexy, and the forced cohabitation via the blizzard outside makes for a nice Christmas tale with a little bit of emotional overtones.

'Tis the Season to Get Lucky by Heidi Rice: 4 stars.

Ryder Sinclair is Kate's boss' playboy son, who's back in town for the holidays. When he runs into Kate at the department store, and the two have to spend the night together because of the snow storm, they get to know each other in sexy, emotionally baring ways. Kate learns he's not the playboy he is purported to be, that he's actually a kind, generous man with a big heart and an infinite amount of love for his young daughter. And she finds out that the man she reveres, Ryder's father and her boss, is not such a great man. But, can their one night of passion actually turn into something more?

This is my favorite of the set. I like how Kate learns to rethink some of her biases and preconceptions, and that Ryder turns out to be a really sweet guy and a great father. It's sexy and sweet and the perfect holiday short.

'Tis the Season to be Kissed by Amy Andrews: 4 stars.

Tamara is staying at her friend Georgia's cabin for New Year's, but she didn't count on the winter wonderland outside, so now she's freezing and has had to put on a bunch of layers to avoid freezing. What better way to warm up than to down some eggnog, regardless of whether it's 9:00 am? But when she hears a noise and she attacks the intruder, will she ever recover from the mortification upon realizing it's Georgia's younger brother, Luke, back from his deployment? Georgia's younger, REALLY hot, brother?!

This one is my second favorite. It's sexy, it's sweet, and Luke and Tamara are a sweet, intriguing couple. I'm not normally a fan of older woman/younger man romances, but in their case, there are only 5 years between them, so it's not such a disparity. And they're such a great couple that I didn't mind, or even notice, their age difference.

'Tis the Season to be Tempted by Aimee Carson: 3 stars.

This is my least favorite in the set, mostly because I didn't end up liking the heroine, Evie. She's erratic, immature and ridiculous. I like Will, though, and he's the only thing keeping this story from 2 stars. Evie is the younger sister of Will's longtime best friend, Dan. She's always been the free spirited rebel in her family of uptight, conservative, old money, disapproving relatives. When Will sees her on his flight back home and she's complaining, loudly, about her neighbor's use of his cell phone, Will's a little amused to see her rebellious, opinionated attitude hasn't changed over the years when he hasn't seen much of her. When her neighbor somehow coerces Will into changing seats with him after Evie loudly announces she figured first class would better because she'd vomit on fewer people there, Will knows he's in trouble because his always there attraction for her just might overwhelm him in such close quarters. And when they're forced into a hotel room together, thanks to the storm outside, Evie comes prepared to seduce the do right, ever responsible Will, into revealing the wild side she knows he's got somewhere inside.

I liked the premise of this one and know that if Evie hadn't irritated the hell out of me, I would have enjoyed it a lot more. As it's written, though, I just can't give it more than 3 stars.

If you're looking for a collection of short, sexy holiday novellas, 'Tis the Season is the right bundle for you.

Tis the Season Bundle is an interesting mix of Christmas tales written by four different authors. There’s a twist on a well-known character; Scrooge, and some sexy goings when one couple tries to toe the line between naughty and nice!

Most of the stories were more than satisfying with what they provided in a quick, but enjoyable read, however Tis the Season to Kiss Santa by Kate Hardy was probably my least favourite and only rated a three.

If you are looking for a sexy festive read then this anthology ticks all the boxes. Four well-written novella's, four swoonworthy loveable men, four lovely ladies and whilst the weather is against them, Cupid certainly isn't...

'Tis the Season to Kiss Santa - Kate Hardy (3.5 stars)

I want to kiss Santa. And not the rotund cuddly grandfather type chap. No I want the brooding businessman who appears more Scrooge than St. Nick. It's sweet, sexy, touching and humbling and Mitch and Ellie are completely loveable. Fills you with festive warmth.

'Tis the Season to Get Lucky - Heidi Rice (5 stars)

Of the four, this was the one that stole it for me. Sexy, fun, romantic and captivating, it flows well, has wonderful loveable in Kate and Ryder, their festive frolics are fabulous and it has a witty yet completely touching storyline. I was chuffed to bits with it.

'Tis the Season to be Kissed - Amy Andrews (4 stars)

Combine a slightly drunken but sensible kindergarten teacher with a fabulously hot military man, add a snowstorm, a game of strip scrabble, ten tiny dates and you get a far from boring New Years Eve. Light, fun and sexy and both Tamara and Luke are wonderful characters.

'Tis the Season to be Tempted - Aimee Carson (3.5 stars)

With a fun yet totally hot seduction treat, I loved Evie's sass, snip yet vulnerability and Wes' witty and protective streak. I would have liked a bit more to the ending but it was still a great little read.

***

To summise, well worth reading and I could have happily read a full length novel containing each couple. I was tempted, got lucky and would happily kiss every one of our hero's.
