This is an excellent series of books that will make you look twice before trusting law enforcement. Some people are completely evil and this book has an excellent portrayal of that type of evil. I was concerned the ending would not live up to the installments to date, but without reason, the ending is fantastic. Good clean suspense!
Well, I must say I'm glad Casey's days of running and hiding are over!
She and Dylan make a good team when it comes to working to bring the real killers to justice, and this third book in the series ties things up for us readers. Another hard to put down book by Terri Blackstock.
Casey Cox continues to be on the run as she tries to figure out how to clear her name, as she is accused of her friend’s murder. Dylan believes in her innocence and is doing what he can to help her. It’s nice to see the development in their characters in this story. You can see God’s hand at work in the characters’ lives, as is it woven throughout.
Blackstock did a great job with the first two books in the series, and this book is a wonderful addition to wrap up the trilogy. Things start off where the last book ended, and action is steady until the end.
Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy from NetGalley, but I wasn’t required to leave a positive review.
Casey Cox is still on the run. When she found her friend murdered she knew she was being set up by the same people that staged her father's suicide. Now Casey is out to prove that she is innocent, but she has to stay alive long enough to do that.
Casey has convinced Dylan of her innocence. He was hired to track her down, now he is in the cross hairs of the people determined that Casey will never be able to testify against them.
One exciting scene after another leads to the thrilling conclusion of this series. I think this one was my favorite out of all three books. Casey still has a desire to help the downtrodden, which ends up helping her when she starts working for an ambulance chasing lawyer, but the main focus of the story is on Casey and not the secondary people she helps out. Casey's relationship with Dylan develops more and I enjoyed reading their growing attraction for each other and the way they protected each other. The suspense was nail-biting and kept me wanting to continue onto the next chapter and the next, all the way to the end. I also loved reading about Casey's development of faith. It is woven throughout the story with a clear salvation message. An excellent conclusion that I highly recommend.
NOTES: This review will post on my blog on March 1st 2018. It will also post on Goodreads on that date and on Amazon when it becomes available. If the book is on CBD then I will post it on there as well. All reviews post to my facebook pages.
A dramatic conclusion to this highly accredited triolgy! This is a wild ride to the end! I'm sorry to see this story end but an quite satisfied with the ending. Terri Blackstone does an outstanding job with the corruption that plagued the police department. Her choices of characters throughout the series always had a specific message. Faith in God shone throughout. Highly recommended!!!
