This is a great book for any Christian library, it's a great devotional with wonderful insights and scripture. I am already a fan of Randy Alcorn and this devotional does not disappoint.

Seeing the Unseen by Randy Alcorn is a 90 day, daily devotional. In the introduction Alcorn says " Do you have a life verse? Mine is 2 Corinthians 4:18. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary but what is Unseen is eternal. (niv) What does scripture mean when it tells us to fix our eyes on what we can't even see?" This book includes a verity of topics related to living each day with an eternal perspective. I have found this book to be a blessing as each morning it has helped me to look to Jesus and keep my mind eternally focused. Each page starts with a small devotion along with relating Bible verses to meditate on and then shares perspective from other Christian authors and preachers. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to set their mind on Jesus.

This is a “short and sweet” daily devotional by one of my favorite authors Randy Alcorn. Each day has a short topic, perspectives from God’s Word (2 scripture verses), and perspectives from God’s people (2 quotes by Christian authors). I found each day to be very easy to read in a few minutes and something to think about throughout the day.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book.

Safely Home was my first book by Randy Alcorn, and I highly recommend it to everyone. Go figure, me and Christian fiction?

However, as I was on a gorgeous scenic train ride recently, and nursing my little guy, I opened this devotional: Seeing the Unseen by Randy Alcorn, and wow! SO awesome! (@netgalley download)

Each devotional literally takes less than 2 minutes to read, so it makes a great short devotional thought, and will help you with your perspective.

Mundane tasks becoming an investment in God's plan?
Making excuses to minimizingour guilt is minimizing His Grace?

Tell me more! In seeing the unseen, the focus is on gaining an eternal perspective on your daily life activities.

I want more of this!

Each day has a link to an article going deeper into that specific topic, as well as verses and quotes.

Basically, you can spend 2 minutes or 20, but it offers you short devotional thoughts to meditate on throughout the day. .

📌 I received an advance copy of the book from @NetGalley and chose to review it here.

This is a great 90-day devotional book that helps direct your mind to things unseen instead of all the seen things around us. I found this to be helpful in my own personal life and encouragement to share with others along the way. Each day is about something different and it has Scripture truths and also some quotes from people who have experienced things in that area and/or have shared their thoughts on it. At the end of each devotional, he also puts a link to further information for further reading on each topic. I found this very helpful and motivating to dig into some areas for deeper study and meditation.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
