Seemed more gear d for practitioners than the average layperson. I learned quite a bit though and hope to do,a cleanse soon.

Drawing upon the traditions and wisdom of our global ancestors, Total Life Cleanse introduces a sleek and easy to follow cleansing to help detox the body. The book is divided into two parts. In the first, Glass gives us the why of cleansing. He shares his own experiences and investigations, delving into wisdom from the Vedas and other texts. Here concepts from ayurvedic medicine are introduced. Part two is the practical application of the cleanse. In addition to recipes and dietary information, exercises for emotional cleansing and meditation are presented.

Total Life Cleanse is a vibrant, holistic approach to helping the body detox. This is especially important to me, as I have a faulty liver that doesn't process toxins correctly. I'm willing to try anything natural to help my body detox, and dietary changes have been the most important. I'm looking forward to trying out this cleansing method in full!

I was drawn to the description, title, and cover of this book, and while the information was great, it felt it was geared more towards practitioners. In never going through a detox program, I felt a bit too overwhelmed with information at times, however it was great 'validation' of my small amount of knowledge. Clean eating is big in my home, but I'm not one to understand the science behind it -- just that it's logical and healthy :)

This book is brimming with good advice from a variety of disciplines and is a pleasure to read. It is a manual to keep referring too rather than a read it once book. It is full of resources and the author has extensive experience giving you full confidence in what you are reading. The only downside for me was that the 28 day was probably a bit too ambitious and I would find it easier to pick out just a few changes to include in my life just to start with. Overall an excellent book. Thank You

While in some ways this was a rehashing of everyone else's ideas, it was done succinctly and with new information from the author. I like that it's a 28 day cleanse - which can be done a couple of times each year, rather than a whole new drastic diet. We will be adopting parts of the cleanse as part of our health class.
