Impossible Truths Amazing Evidence of Extraterrestrial Contact by Erich Von Daniken from Watkins Publishing
Erich Von Daniken never ceases to amaze with the unbelievable ancient finds.
Erich Von Daniken opened minds and eyes in 1968 with his book Charriots of the Gods. He is the foundation for what today is known as the Ancient Aliens Theory and has continued to amaze us with the unbelievable ancient sites all over the planet. In this book he introduces us sites and artifacts that are as well known as the Nazca Lines and Machu Picchu to the numerous lesser known lines in Jordan, Atacama Dessert and elsewhere. He takes us to the wonder of the ancient site of Buritaca, Columbia and the amazing terraces that were built so well they have stood the test of time and extreme weather. He tells us of Chavin de Huantar, Peru where there is a copy of Solomon's Temple. Amazing as all these are what totally shocked me was the find of an Egyptologist. A 5,000 year old mummy of a young boy found in 1986, with an artificial heart. Erich Von Daniken never disappoints.
Thank you Erich Von Daniken, Watkins Publishing and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.
Impossible Truths is a fascinating book whether or not you believe that our ancestors received extra terrestial visitors. Obviously there's more to our history than we've all been told, that much is clear. A lot of evidence like that has been showing up, especially in the last several years. Personally I consider myself pretty skeptical but with a very open mind to all those things.
This book was also a very quick read. I took my sweet time with it and finished it in three days, but I could've easily read it in only one day. I also loved all the photographs included. This review copy happened to be an e-ARC so I'm sure a real physical book would be even more amazing to view those photos. I might even purchase myself one of those when the book releases.
I'm sure people who are interested in ancient aliens, history, archaeology and similar topics would, just like me, really enjoy Impossible Truths: Amazing Evidence of Extraterrestrial Contact by Erich Von Daniken. It was a great introduction to his theories and definitely made me want to read more of his work.
