The series set in one of my favorite little holidays towns has come to an end and though I am sad about that I loved Miranda and Nolan’s love story. This series is set in one of those magical towns that are perpetually a Christmas village, filed with decorations, carols, and all the cookies you can enjoy. The stories of these individuals have been amazing and getting to know all the people in the town was a magical experience. Nolan has been in love with Miranda for many years, even if he wasn’t able to make her see him as the man meant to be hers. Miranda is in a bind, her parents are coming for the holidays and she has to produce a fiancée before they arrive or face her mother’s disappointment when she discovers the lie Miranda told. Jumping at the chance to show Miranda how much she means to him, Nolan steps in the make sure that Miranda has everything she needs and soon the two of them are in a relationship that doesn’t seem quite so fake anymore. Nolan was the best sexy alpha hero, stepping in to give Miranda his all and show her how much he loves her. I loved getting to know him and watching as he found a way to make Miranda come around to the same feelings he has. Miranda is completely blind-sided when the sweet man she has been such good friends with for so long is suddenly the sexiest and most enchanting man she knows. There is not denying the heat between these two was strong enough to melt every bit of snow in their small town, without a single doubt. I enjoyed every bit of this friends-to-lovers story and was sad to see it end, even though I enjoyed the story itself. I always know I will have an amazing experience when I read anything by Katie, but I hold a special place in my heart for anything holiday related and Katie makes a sweet and sexy romance even better when she combines her skill, imagination, and the magic of the holiday season. Another great read for a cold winter’s night.

Mistletoe Me, Baby is a sweet and sexy holiday read. Miranda made up a fiancé to get her parents off her back. Now they're planning on coming to visit, so what's Miranda to do? Well, ask her best friend, (her muse for her made up fiancé) if he'd mind helping her out while her parents are in town. When Nolan sees Miranda is in need of some help from him, he's the first person to step up to the plate. After all, he's been in love with her nearly as long as they've been friends - what better way for him to let her know how he feels?

I liked Mistletoe Me, Baby, especially Nolan. He's a gentleman, he's hot, and he's sweet, Miranda couldn't have asked for a better best friend and fake fiancé. I didn't really connect to Miranda, but I did like her and Nolan's story. It's the perfect holiday read - a little sexy, a lot sweet, and comforting enough to be read during the holidays.

This is the last book of the O'Connor Family. And it seemed that Nolan has set his eyes on the new resident of their town. I thought it would be a one sided emotion. turns out it wasn't.

I enjoy reading this book, because it gave us the chance to look at the lives of Nolan's family. I live the dynamics of this particular family. The same can be said to the residents of Holly, NC. There is not much to be said, but this book made us believe that no matter what happens, the spirit of Christmas and love will always be with us.

Nolan knocked on the open door to Miranda’s office. Miranda always left her door open so everyone would know they could talk to her at any time. Miranda was on the phone and after a great smile Nolan took the chance to drink in the sight of Miranda. Even while talking on the phone Miranda smiled that was normal for her. Nolan wanted to kiss Miranda and claim her but that wasn’t happening any time soon. Miranda had made it clear ten months ago when they had met she wasn’t looking for a relationship as Miranda had just taken in her eleven year old nephew Mateo when her sister Gloria dropped him off and bolted. Recently Gloria had went into rehab for drug addiction. Every chance he got Nolan studied Miranda- watching her, being around her. Miranda was Nolan’s personal addiction which Nolan didn’t plan on giving up. Miranda had Nolan all twisted up in knots. Nolan was a building contractor. Miranda was attracted to Nolan and thought he was hot but Miranda had not let Nolan know how she felt. Miranda loved cooking for Nolan. Nolan seened to be able to fix anything and was always willing to help Miranda out when she needed it. Then Miranda parents decide to make a Christmas visit. Miranda had told her mother she was engaged to get her off her back but then Nolan happily stepped up to be Miranda’s fake fiance. Then Miranda’s sister Gloria overdoses on heroin and Miranda tries to push Nolan away but he is still there for her.
I enjoyed reading this book. I liked the plot as well as the pace. I loved Miranda and Nola together. I loved that Miranda took in her nephew Mateo with no experience. This was a quick fun- for the most part- enjoyable romance. I would have loved this to be longer. I loved how Nolan was there for Miranda in any way he could be no matter what. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend.

Another great story in the O'Connor Family series. I've really enjoyed this series & I hope that with the talk of O'Connor cousins that maybe the series might be continued. I loved how when Nolan made up his mind that he was going to win Miranda's heart he went for it honestly. He played the role of her fiancé very well because he was determined to be it. I enjoyed the back & forth between he & Miranda as they started out as friends & turned into something more. The tragedy that hit Miranda's family was sad but kind of expected & it was wonderful to see how strong & stubborn Nolan was being for Miranda. Definitely recommend.

This is a quick read set in our favorite holiday town Holly, the forever Christmas town. I believe this is the O'Connor, Nolan. He's in love with his best friend Miranda Flores that we've met in earlier stories. Miranda is just 10 months new to Holly and loves it. She left Florida to distance her from her manipulative family who nit-picks everything. She's found herself with the guardianship of her 10 year old nephew, Mateo, while her older sister, Gloria is in rehab. Hopefully it takes this time even though Miranda loves having Mateo. She told Nolan she wasn't interested in relationships with getting Mateo and herself settled into Holly. Nolan has holding her in the best friend category gritting his teeth the whole time.

Miranda's parents decide to make an unexpected visit to Holly and now she's got to ask Nolan to pretend to be her fiance while her parent's are in town. He jumps at the chance! And so Miranda's confusion and struggle begins when she finds he's all in. Crisis hits and Nolan is there fore her. She finds love and a relationship are not really that hard to handle at all.

I love all the Holly stories and this one is just icing. Thank you Katie for the free NetGalley ARC of this story for a review! Loved it!

Mistletoe Me, Baby is the fourth book in the O'Connor family series and it can be read as a stand-alone book. This is the story of Miranda and Nolan, two best friends who are about to become more. They have known each other for months now but refused to act on their attraction because it might have ruined their friendship so things remained platonic until Nolan realized that he might lose her to another man. There is no cheating or another woman or man, so don't worry about my comment. In fact, both of them didn't have any partners after they first met. The whole fake-fiance thing comes later in the book. Well, not much later since Mistletoe Me, Baby is a short book, but the foundation for Nolan's plan to make Miranda his has been already been set. I enjoyed reading this book very much, but I was not happy with the tragedy that stroked Miranda. For some reason, it felt cheap to me and it had almost no effect to the characters after the initial shock wore off. Despite that, I would recommend the book. It put me in a festive spirit. It had a good pace and the main characters were very likable.

Mistletoe Me, Baby by Katie is a sweet and heartwarming friends to lovers read and I loved it.

The storyline was entertaining all throughout, the writing is well done and the characters are likable, relatable and their chemistry was smoking.

I loved Miranda and Nolan, they shared a beautiful friendship that has up to now been enough. Nolan is tired of holding his back his feelings and he's willing to put their friendship on the line by opening his heart to Miranda.
Little does Nolan know that Miranda has also been holding back, she was scared of losing him by taking that next step.
These two truly had me swooning, I loved them together and I have no doubt they would have a very happy life together.

If you're like me and enjoy friends to lovers storylines, you will definitely want to read this one.
Mistletoe Me, Baby is a great addition to the O'Connor Family series, I highly recommend it.

Another sweet addition to the O'Connor family series! If you enjoy small town romance, meddling family members, and a fake relationship, Mistletoe Me, Baby is perfect for a weekend read by the fire!

Miranda moved to Holly, NC about a year prior. She has taken on the task of raising her nephew while her drug addict sister goes to rehab. She adores her nephew and her life in Holly. Her best friend, Nolan, is oh so tempting; however, Miranda knows that she can't date right now. And she would never want to ruin the most important relationship in her life. So, she and Nolan are just BFF's. Until Miranda's meddlesome parents arrive from Florida. See, Miranda told them Nolan was her fiancé. Nolan is all too happy to 'play along'. Except, Nolan isn't faking anything.

This was a cute fake relationship because Nolan never wanted to fake anything. Miranda isn't sure what the heck he is doing because she had no idea he had any interest in her romantically. So, watching these two flounder a bit was entertaining. With Miranda's mom and dad in town, things were already interesting. However, add in the O'Connors and you have quite the party! You get to see all the previous O'Connor siblings and that adds some levity to the story. It is a novella so brevity is the name of the game, but I didn't feel short changed on character development. I think thats why I have enjoyed this series so much!

Honestly, it doesn't seem to matter what Katie Reus writes- Contemporary, PNR, Romantic Suspense-I enjoy it! She is one of my automatic 1 click authors for sure!

MISTLETOE ME, BABY is the fourth instalment (and novella) in Katie Reus’ contemporary, adult O’CONNOR FAMILY romance series focusing on the O’Connor family of Holly, North Carolina. This is Miranda Flores, and Nolan O’Connor’s story line. MISTLETOE ME, BABY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Miranda and Nolan) MISTLETOE ME BABY follows the fake engagement between co-workers at the local community centre Miranda Flores, and Nolan O’Connor. Ten months earlier, to escape her smothering family Miranda left Florida to set down roots in Holly, North Carolina-a small town that celebrates Christmas year round. As full-time guardian to her sister’s eleven year-old son Mateo, Miranda spends most of her time working to support a child she loves as her own. When Miranda’s parents announce a surprise holiday visit, our heroine panics in the face a lie she told to keep her mother off of her back-Miranda needs a fiancé, and the perfect man for the job is her best friend Nolan O’Connor-the man with whom Miranda is secretly in love. What ensues is the building friends to lovers relationship between Miranda and Nolan-a relationship that has simmered for close to ten months, and the potential fall out when Miranda places an end date on their ‘fake’ romance.

MISTLETOE ME, BABY is a story of family and friendship; heartbreak and grief; love and happily ever after. Tragedy will strike the Flores family leaving a grieving family struggling with the loss but none more so than our story line heroine. The premise is sweet, engaging and entertaining; the characters are colorful, real and charismatic; the romance is passionate and seductive without the use of sexually graphic, over the top language and text. MISTLETOE ME, BABY is a quick read; a wonderful holiday love story; a welcome addition to the O’Connor Series by Katie Reus.

Another fantastic book by Katie Reus. Really do love her books and this one is just the same. Got me in the mood for Christmas and really enjoyed curling up the couch with this fantastic story and had the most amazing joy and pleasure of reading this book. Really loved it. Would highly recommend this book and this author to everyone

This is the 4th book in the O'Connor series. This one covers Nolan O'Connor and Miranda Flores. They are best friends although Nolan has wanted to be more than friends for months. Miranda has told her parents she is engaged to try to get them off her back about dating while she is taking care of her nephew. Now her parents are coming to visit for Christmas and she has to come up with the fake fiance for them. Which entails asking Nolan to do it for her and Nolan coming up with the idea of showing her that he may be playing the fake fiance for her parents but his feelings are anything but fake!

This was a quick, cute read! As a Katie Reus book you know it's going to be good and it definitely was! I just wish it had been longer. Miranda is a sweet woman who is handling such horrible things with a strength of character that you can't help but admire. Nolan is a sweet man who is always there for friends and family but he knows that he wants and needs more from Miranda and is determined to show her what they could have. It really is a good read, just too short in my opinion!

I’m always up for another visit to Holly, North Carolina – especially when Nolan gets his chance to shine in Mistletoe Me, Baby. Although Nolan wants much more than friendship with Miranda she’s always placed him firmly in the best male friend category. To be fair, she has a lot on her plate so for the time being Nolan has been somewhat content to keep her close however he can manage. Yet his golden chance for more arrives with a surprise visit from Miranda’s parents… and maybe she’s been telling them about the man she’s going to marry except he totally does not exist. One friend to friend favor later and Nolan finds himself happily engaged, and intends to remain that way. Now all he has to do is convince Miranda that she has room for him and for them in her hectic life.

Rough patches happen in every life, we cannot avoid them. When Miranda’s life is hit with tragedy her reaction is to pull away from Nolan. He won’t let her for she needs him now more than ever.

I’ve enjoyed the O’Connor Family series. I’m always given a realistic story with believable characters. Mistletoe Me, Baby was no different. Nolan and Miranda were that unique couple who could count on their friendship as much as their love for each other. Yes, Miranda’s instinct is to shut Nolan out but that didn’t last long. I was emotionally involved in their story. Full of the delights and annoyances of small town living, loving family all around and a couple who have long passed the friend zone, even if it took them a bit to realize that. I love this one and would recommend this story and the entire series to any reader who loves small towns, lively secondary characters who get to tell their own stories, and a realistic situation for a couple to deal with. This one is a Christmas gift you give yourself. Enjoy.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

3.5 Stars. Mistletoe Me, Baby s the 4th book in the O'Connor Family series but can be read as a stand alone. This is a very sweet holiday romance. It's a quick read and it has likable characters. In fact Nolan is perfect. He is gorgeous and sweet and patient and kind and sexy and well perfect not a single flaw. I actually like my characters to be a little more realistic but if you're looking for a quick, sweet and enjoyable Christmas story then look no further.

This is another book with the O'Connor family and this time it is Nolan's turn to win his love, Miranda. He was so captivated by her so he kept their relationship on the friendship level since Miranda felt that she could not offer more when she was suddenly asked to become the guardian of her nephew.

There are parts of the story that are funny, parts that are so romantic, and some parts are just sad. I loved that Nolan was able to support Miranda when her sister died, and she was even trying to push him away but Nolan was touch and didn't back down!! It was funny when Miranda needed to ask Nolan to be her pretend fiance and he was ecstatic that he could finally make his move to get their relationship out of the friendship zone and hopefully make her his real fiance.

I also loved when we see what is going on with the previous characters when they are included in some of the scenes in this book. This is a great romance with an added holiday flavor!

Fake fiancé is a trope that I enjoy if done right, which is exactly how it is in Mistletoe Me, Baby by Katie Reus. This novella begins with friendship between the two main characters, Nolan and Miranda. There is family drama and personal loss that weighs on Miranda so relationships other than friends is not on her radar.

I appreciated how Nolan wants more but respects Miranda yielding to what she needs at the moment. That is not to say he doesn’t step up to provide the more while showing her what is right in front of her eyes. Christmas in Holly, NC goes without saying but it is fun that it is at the Christmas Season. With a young Mateo around the story has an added special Christmas touch.

I love Katie Reus' O'Connor Family! I'll be honest, I'm not a huge Christmas movie or book fan, but there's just something about the world she's created in Holly. I also love the entire O'Connor clan. Reus has created a fun family, with great stories. I like that she includes them in each of the books, so you get to spend more time with them and see what's happening in their lives. I love the stories of shaving heads and passing the hockey test!

I could totally relate to Miranda and her story. While I have a great relationship with my parents, it's stronger and healthier that I live half way across the country from them. The family dynamic with an addict is hard, even when there's not kids involved. Miranda taking in her nephew is a selfless act, and beautiful all on its own. I really like how Reus tackled this very real and heavy topic. She didn't shy away from it, but instead left you full of hope for the future and moving on.

Nolan is too good to be true, and I totally want one for Christmas. He's known for awhile that Miranda is it for him. He can't believe his luck! She needs a fake fiancee for Christmas. Now he just needs to convince her that its not fake and not just for Christmas. His understanding and handling the situation that rips her family apart is heartwarming and insightful.

Can Nolan get what he wants for Christmas? You'll have to read Mistletoe Me, Baby to find out!

If you are after some Christmas cheer to get you ready for the Holiday season, this book is bound to get you in the spirit. It has hot alphas, an adorable boy, and a whole town that’s all about Christmas. There is lots of snow, hot chocolate, ice skating, and all the Christmas Trimmings (including the aforementioned hot alpha to help you decorate). Things do get deep for a bit, but the strong, loving hero is there with lots of hugs and support to get you through it.

This is a best-friends-to-lovers story. The extremely patient hero, Nolan, decides it’s time to go after the object of his desire, Miranda. He takes full advantage of the opportunity given to him when Miranda asks him to be her fake fiancee while her parents visit. Once he made the decision to quit pussyfooting around, he threw everything at her making sure that when her parents left, they’d still be together.

Miranda had a lot going on in her life since her move to Holly. She had suddenly found herself the guardian of her 11-year-old nephew, Mateo, and all her energy was focused on him. Life had not been kind to Mateo in his short life and Miranda was determined to make sure he not only fully recovered physically and mentally but thrived from here on out. Because of this, she didn’t feel a relationship would be in the cards for her.

I did find myself a tad bit frustrated at Nolan and Miranda’s constant failure to communicate but I also understood there were all sorts of issues happening. Neither was upfront with their feelings before the fake fiancee thing came up and this didn’t really change for quite awhile.

This was cute and entertaining with just a touch of drama to keep things interesting. As the holiday season gets into full swing this is a quick, easy and heartwarming read for when the mood strikes or when you need an infusion of holiday spirit.

Mistletoe Me, Baby was a gentle, sweet and engaging Christmas novella. That had a touch of angst, along with really likable characters. Who shared plenty of chemistry, especially during the sex scene. Which really helped sell the overall story. Although I do wish this had been a full length novel. As I would of loved to have read more from it. But saying that I did still really enjoy it and I'd happily recommend it to others.
