I wanted to like this book, but it was so hard to get through. The writing was stilted and the story didn't flow well. I liked Gena realizing her self-worth as the story progressed, but so much of this just did not work. Paul, the man she falls for, is barely in the book and they have no chemistry. It all felt very wooden and forced.

Chinese Crested dog brings two people together.
Gena was on her way back from an interesting interview and stopped to check her tire but she hears whimper. She finds a small lost puppy and brings it home until she can find home for her new pet. She didn't know the breed but she was excited to bring home a pet even though her boyfriend doesn't like pets.
Gena really wanted learn more about Chinese Crested dog and her friend knew someone who had similar dog. It wasn't usual looking dog and it really warm her heart and it bring joy in her daily life. She meets a perfect gentleman who happens to have a same type of Chinese Crest and be friends her..
She never met someone like him and he understands her better than her boyfriend..
Will she ever find her happily ever after or settle with Paul who hates her Wiley?
It was sweet story overall but Gena's hesitance really bugged me a lot. She just settled into her routine even though she knew she wasn't happy. I guess she had to figure out on her own but took little too long.. However, I did like the other characters and dogs.
Thanks to Netgalley and Lyrical Shine for my ARC in exchange for honest review.

Eugenia 'Gena' Shaw has worked hard to get to where she is in her career. Yet, while her professional life is going great, her personal life is not with her self-centred boyfriend constantly putting her down. However, Gena doesn't know what she's going to do until she meets Paul, a man that thinks she's perfect. However, Gena's been with her boyfriend for many years and it's hard for her to walk away. Will she get the happy ever after she deserves, or stay in a relationship that's become too toxic?

This is the third book by Ms. Bronston that I've read, and I've got to say that I quite enjoy her stories that encompass strong heroines that go through a lot in their lives and achieve happy ever after with their Mr. Right. As for this third book in Ms. Bronston's Love in the City series, it was extremely engrossing with the heroine facing quite the challenge in sticking with the familiar or ending things between her and her jerk of a boyfriend. Will she choose Paul or stay with her boyfriend? Will she realize that she deserves more than a man that continues to belittle her?

As for the dialogue, it was entertaining due to the main characters back stories and every obstacle they face on their journey to happy ever after, including whether Gena will end things with her boyfriend and the big choice the hero has to make that. Will he stay or will he go? Moreover, the heroine is strong and brave when it comes to the choices she makes because her professional life couldn't get much better but her personal life is a total mess. How could she want to stay with her boyfriend? I also liked how hard-working she was when it came to her career and the stories she covered were quite intriguing and I liked how it led to bigger and better things for her. Yet, what I liked most of all was her growing relationship with Paul and the developing bond she shared with her dog. Really, Paul is good for her and she deserves someone that will love her for who she is.

Overall, Ms. Bronston has delivered a wonderful and engaging read in this book where the chemistry between Paul and Gena is delightful and shows the heroine that she deserves so much more in a relationship than what she's getting with her boyfriend; and the ending had me loving the decision the heroine made because she deserved to be happy. I would recommend Who Do You Love? by JM Bronston, if you enjoy Women's Fiction/Chick-Lit stories, the opposites attract trope, or books by authors Kristin Vayden, Tracey Alvarez, Louisa George and Rachel Gibson.

Who Do You Love is book one in the Love in the City series. Gena is a journalist. She finds a little dog and believes this dog is the start of a new life for her. Interestingly enough, Wiley hates her live-in boyfriend, Warren. While visiting Central Park, she runs into another Chinese Crested owner, Paul. She finds herself running into him more and more. Maybe Wiley's sense of loathing for Warren is the catalyst that will get Gena to change her life for the better. And Paul just may be a part of that. I really enjoyed this story. It is definitely one not to be missed. I voluntarily read a digital ARC provided by the publisher via NetGalley.

I enjoyed this story in many ways. The heroine, journalist Gena Shaw, is young and naive about love and has much to learn about what matters most in life. The story definitely shows her maturing and finding happiness.

An up-and-coming journalist for the popular Lady Fair magazine, Gena rescues a small dog on a deserted road on a stormy, rainy night. Little does she realize how the little Chinese Crested she names Wiley after Wile E. Coyote is going to change her life. Wiley loathes her boyfriend, Warren, and Warren loathes him back. Warren is totally self-absorbed and only wants to talk about himself, his achievements, and his future plans, and he deems Gena’s wishes and accomplishments far beneath his.

Gena is very talented with excellent ideas for feature stories in the magazine. She currently has two very high profile interviews about to be released to the public, and Wiley gives her another great idea for a feature. Her friends realize Warren isn’t the man for her and do all they can to boost her confidence and show her she’s beautiful inside and out.

Finding Wiley is a true blessing for Gena and helps pave the way to her wonderful future. Author J.M. Bronston delivers a well thought out plot that is a delight! I look forward to reading future books in this series...Love In The City.
