Nice, light read for the long dark nights of November and December.

The setting was somewhat magical and the characters a delight to read about. Morgan is struggling with returning home to open a salon and not join the family business. Dallas returns to a town who considers him a 'bad boy' who brings trouble.

Through some craftiness by a long time town person, they are thrown together and discover not only their attraction to each other but that what they thought was true is not.

Delightful. Living up to your mothers expectations can be hard when you don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings and express yourself. I enjoyed the characters and will be reading more of Christmas Falls.

I liked this sweet clean small town romance. It had a nice balance of humour and sad parts. The characters were likable and both had their issues to work through. The plot moved along decently. Overall, a good story. *I received an ARC of this book from Net Galley and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Overall a good story set in the festive town of Christmas Falls. This is the story of Morgan and Dallas, who are thrown together by given a lease for the same building. Dallas wants to open a custom made furniture store and Morgan wants to open a beauty parlor. Instead of fighting, they decide to work together and share the spot. I liked the story, and the characters, but the only thing that got on my nerves a bit was how she kept trying to hide so much from her mother. Other than that though, I highly recommend this book and story.

Overall I liked the book. I have read a number of Susan Hatler's books before (mostly from her Better Date than Never Series) which is why I picked this book up. I think based on the books I have read by her before I had a certain expectation for this book. It still had some of the same romance/can't put it down parts but also had points that were sad and emotional which I didn't experience in her other books. These moments still felt real but I PERSONALLY do not love reading books like that and I was not expecting it. I usually read her books in a day or two because I can't wait to see how it turns out. I was still invested in these characters but I found that I only read through the book like that at certain parts - I lost interest at other parts. I am still glad I read it and would recommend it to someone looking for a quick holiday read and I will definitely continue to read Susan Hatler after this!

A wonderful book to read during the holidays, full of warmth and romance. Loved it!

Forever Yours in Christmas Falls by Susan Hatler is the first in this series I have read. I found the entire series interesting as different authors are writing about characters in the imaginary community. This makes me want to read more of the stories in the future.

This story has an air of mystery to it concerning a past death. Also the mix-up in the rental property was perplexing, especially for the two different types of businesses involved. However, it brought Dallas and Morgan together as intended so it makes for a fun if unbelievable plot device.

The story is slow at the beginning with the reconnections that Morgan has to made and the setting up of the romance. However, it picks up and flows smoothly after that initiate starting chapters. I enjoyed the ending seeing this family through Morgan’s eyes with a little help from an older trusted worthy friend. Forever Yours in Christmas Falls is a sweet Christmas story of finding forgiveness, love and family at Christmas.

This book is part of the Return to Christmas Falls series, where each book is written by a different author. I've not read any others of the series, but it did not distract me or cause me to feel out of touch.

Morgan has decided to return home to open her own beauty salon. However, her parents believed that Morgan was using an inheritance to get an MBA and to take a job at the bank sponsored by her parents. Morgan believes she has to live up to her mother's demands to do this, but this time, she's rebelling and doing what she's passionate about. has finally done it, she's take that final step that will seal her fate in her mother's eyes. Morgan has leased the old beauty shop so she can open Her shop, only to discover that her landlady has leased the same space to her childhood crush to open his furniture shop. And, of course, this is the man her mother blames for the death of Morgan's sister when they were all young. The landlord is incommunicado until after both business planned openings (very inconvenient!). Somehow, Morgan and Dallas manage to make the space work, while growing closer and learning to love each other.

I loved this story and found myself laughing, crying and feeling all of Morgan's insecurities. I was thrilled when she finally stood up to her mother to follow her own path. And loved how Dallas was willing to fight for their love to be finally accepted by Morgan's mother.

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Returning to your home town when you have a big secret can be impossible when the gossiping starts. Coming clean is the best way to deal with opening a salon. Morgan is in for a bigger surprise than just having to come clean with her parents, when the storefront she's expecting is leased to someone else. Not just anyone, Dallas, her crush from childhood. Can they really make a furniture shop and salon work together? And what about all those feelings, are they real and able to stand against the sorrow of the past.

The story goes thus; Morgan comes home to Christmas Falls to open a salon and finds herself co-leasing the place with her childhood crush, Dallas and sparks literally fly…

A second book in the Christmas Falls series and written by Susan Hatler, this is far better than the first book. Susan Hatler has made her main character Morgan feel the helplessness of being stuck between family and love. She has made Morgan a strong character who is loyal to both her family and Dallas.

Morgan is a cosmetologist, and her parents are unaware of her choice of career. They expect her to work in their bank. And the mom hates Dallas and blames him for family tragedy. So Morgan is caught between living her own life and wanting to keep her parents happy.

At 164 pages, it is a short book, but Susan Hatler packs it with so much flavor. I liked seeing Morgan and Dallas fall in love, I liked seeing Morgan and her brother banter, and I liked seeing Morgan becoming independent.

What I didn’t like is this series is based on friendship between 7 friends who have all separated, written by 7 authors. But those friends are mentioned only in passing, and there is not a single chapter or page, based on that friendship. If there is a poem on friendship, the book ought to have that friendship as a base too. Sometimes I found Morgan behaving like a stupid teenager, like climbing on a slippery rock and falling off.

The story, the plot line, the secrets, the love, and the funny moments were really good and I find Susan Hatler to be a really good author who can spin a beautiful yarn even in 164 pages. That’s pure talent.

P.S. There is nothing much Christmassy about this book but it was a fun, quick read. It blows away the stresses and is a great way to end the day.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I felt that the story was more developed than book 1 in the series and easier to follow. It took some unexpected turns and wrapped up quite nicely!

Romance, clean
Cute fun romance, with some twists. Morgan and Dallas' coming together in the shop they each think they have full rights too is a cute compromise and a fall that was fun to read. Their pasts, linked together by a tragedy in Morgan's family that Dallas is connected too, made this all the more poignant and real.
Fun chemistry, lovely setting with small town character and charm, the teacher who they come back to support, just altogether a fun read. I always love reading characters that are honest, real, and with hurting pasts that get healing and find love in the course of the novel.

This story was just okay for me. It was hard to connect to the characters and being written in first person was just a headache, each page filled with more of her thoughts than the actions to push the story forward. I enjoyed other Christmas Falls books but this one didn't reel me in.

This was a quick, easy read and a decent way to pass time. However, I didn’t really connect to either of the main characters and didn’t really care for the drama that ensued towards the end. I would have loved to see more growth for Morgan throughout the book rather than her finally standing up for herself at the very end.

I really enjoy reading Susan Hatler and, even though this wasn’t a favorite of mine, I will continue to read her in the future.

I loved this book. Morgan came back to Christmas Falls because she missed it and was keeping it a secret that she was opening up a beauty salon and not going to work at the bank. She tried everything she could to avoid her mother. A funny part of the story was that the space she leased was also leased to Dallas, a boy she had had a crush on as a kid. He was sort of the town trouble maker but there was a very good story around that. A lot of the story was around their history and then their new relationship. I had trouble wondering how a furniture store and a salon would work, but they worked it out in a very inventive way. A good read and well worth your time.

4.5 Stars Forever Yours in Christmas Falls is book 5 in the Return to Christmas Falls series written by multiple talented authors including this one by Susan Hatler.
I loved this story, with every heartbreak is a lesson if only we open our heart to feel and our eyes to see. Morgan and Dallas have a past they need to leave behind but when your past keeps coming back can they believe in themselves enough not to be blinded and hold on to what truly matters, each other.
Great story and one I will be recommending to readers

This is the first book I have read by Ms. Halter, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I want to thank the author and Net-Galley for giving me the opportunity to read this heart-warming holiday romance.

The interaction between Morgan and Dallas is great, and I truly enjoyed the story line. The characters are real, and even though this is a short book, the character development is good. The romance is sweet, and I really rooted for them to find their happy ending.

If you are looking for a lovely holiday read, then you will enjoy Forever Yours in Christmas Falls. The lively secondary characters will steal your heart, along with the hero and heroine. Happy reading!

I have enjoyed seeing this relationship going through its initial stages. Read this book in one sitting

This is a sweet and clean book with no cursing and no sex. If those things bother you, there is nothing to worry about here.

This book had a great balance of humor, action, and angst. I laughed out loud a few times (the waitress with the wine was probably my favorite) but I also got teary-eyed more than once, which is fabulous and a trick that not all authors can pull off but Ms. Hatler nailed it with this story.

Dallas and Morgan's past history was long and complicated, and although Morgan had crushed on him for years, and sparks definitely flew when they reconnected, I really appreciated how this author showed them getting to know each other as adults. The fact that they both embraced and accepted that their lives had changed was really great. And the way that they bonded over their previous shared tragedies was beautiful and heart-wrenching. Although this story was fleshed out and paced perfectly and the ending was exactly what I would have wanted, I was disappointing to reach the end because I wanted to read more. (Note to Ms. Hatler: I would very happily read Connor's book, should that come about, even if it were in another series.)

I was very generously granted an ARC of this book via NetGalley and the publisher – I was under absolutely no obligation to write this review, I did so because I really enjoyed this book.
