A woman trying to escape her traumatic childhood finally escapes and finds comfort in a man who works at a tattoo parlor.

While she is moving forward to make her life better she becomes involved with the man helping to cover her scars. I had to stop reading when an intimate scene details that "he sketched, focusing as a slave owner would on..." That's the "reference of a romance book" he read from his high school girlfriend - a slave owner?
It changed my desire to continue, unnecessary and irrelevant to the story. I was more than halfway through the book and had to stop.

This was a decent story and I somewhat enjoyed both the hero and the heroine. Marnie and Tor are pretty great characters. However, nothing really stood out making it a great book.

Coming off a very bad relationship, Marnie is slowly getting back on her own two feet. She decides part of that is to have some tattoos done to cover scars she obtained long ago. She goes to Wicked Brand but half the battle is walking in the door. When she meets Tor, sparks fly.

Tor is the sexy tattoo artist that has a special way with 3-D art. When he sees Marnie, his world tilts and loves to see her smile. They start to see each other regularly while working her tattoos. It doesn't take long for them to give into their cravings. All is going good until the Ex shows up wanting to exert his command over Marnie. Tor will have none of that, but the danger ramps up.

Although the book was good to read, I felt no real connection to any of the characters. I have read this series and have enjoyed the camaraderie within the shop. Even though I didn't connect within this book, I will still continue to read this series.

Eh....this book was barely okay for me.

I just didn't buy how quickly things moved between Marnie and Tor. They didn't previously know each other and despite being in hiding from her ex she practically jumps at a chance with Tor. She invites him into her apartment without a second thought which I don't think is very realistic. A woman on the run, especially with her history, is likely to have severe trust issues and be much more cautious.

Things seemed forced between Marnie and Tor, I think in large part because of how quickly things escalated between them. Had the author spent more time developing the trust between them, their relationship likely would have seemed more realistic.

Loved this book. It had me hooked page after page. Tina Donahue never disappoints.

Okay, whereas "Wicked Takeover" couldn't entirely convince me yet, I read "Wicked Seduction" in one sitting and I really enjoyed reading it.

Tor and Marnie are wonderful together and I loved their chemistry. Both of them are interesting characters, very lovable and cute. I loved to see Marnie open up to Tor, I felt for her when we learned what had happened to her and I loved to see them fall in love. Having been abused before, Marnie doesn't trust easily and it is good to see her start to find her place and to find a home.

The book is well written, fast-paced and rather hot and steamy. There's a certain amount, - well, a lot of naked skin and their likes, so it might not be the right book for you if you tend to blush a lot but the two are sweet and where I skipped some pages in "Wicked Takeover" because it was just too much, I didn't have that problem in "Wicked Seduction". Right, I know that the word "wicked" hints at some rather intensive sexual encounters so if you are alright with that, I can definitely recommend this book.

Oh wow! What can I say about this book! It was such a good book! Very engaging, very sexy, very steamy. My heart felt for Marnie, for what she had been through. I love that Tor was the one for her. You just got the impression from their first meeting that they belonged with each other. She gained her strength with him which she would need to fight her past. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley.

Overall, I enjoyed the romance between Marnie and Tor. I thought Tor was super sweet and understanding of all that Marnie has gone through in his life. He never pushed her too hard and did all the right things to make Marnie comfortable in their new relationship. I also like the character of Marnie as well and how brave she was to restart her life. This read has some serious heat and lots of steamy scenes that border on erotica. If you want a clean read, then this is not for you.

Great story about overcoming the hardships in life and finding yourself again. Tina Donahue weaves a great story about finding the courage to stand up for yourself and find your happiness.

Two people are brought together by scars and needing change. Throw in some serious chemistry and you get some hot sex scenes. Their connection is one that neither can deny, nor wanted to let go of.The connection is tangible between these two. They get their HEA. The scars she wanted covered made me want to know her dark past. I connected to this story and it’s characters. I literally fell into this story and was completely immersed as I read it cover to cover.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is the 4th book in the Wicked Delights series, however it can be easily read as a stand-alone. Marnie goes to Wicked Brand to wanting tattoos to cover her scars where she meets Tor and sparks fly. When her abusive ex shows up will Marnie’s new-found strength be enough to keep him away? A good read. The story is fast paced with plenty of drama. The chemistry between Marnie and Tor is off the charts hot. I really liked it.

Wicked Seduction by Tina Donahue
Wicked Brand #2

Marnie Cruz has been hiding her scars for years and is finally ready to turn them into something beautiful that she doesn’t have to hide any more. She is ready to give up covering her limbs but first needs to work up the courage to enter the tattoo shop Hector “Tor” Avana works in to see if he will do the work. There is definitely instant attraction and chemistry when the two meet and what was to be a simple sketching session becomes a bit more and then as time goes on their relationship flourishes with simple and more complex dates, sharing, caring, trusting then dealing with someone from her past so they can go on to have a HFN/HEA life together.

Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC – This is my honest review.

tor avana isn't looking for anything when his gaze catches on marnie cruz as she watches him tattoo in the window of the wicked brand tattoo parlor. he instinctively knows that she wants something from him. but is it just a tattoo or something more?

in wicked seduction, marnie is still recovering from an abusive relationship. actually, she's recovering from two abusive relationships. the first one with her father, who physically and emotionally abused her mother and then on one terrible night nearly killed marnie. that encounter left her with some horrific scars and what she wants is to cover them over with a tattoo, she needs to erase the ugliness on her skin with art.

but spending time with tor has her feeling the very butterflies he intends to tattoo on her skin in her stomach. there is an awareness that crackles between them and when she realizes that tor is a man she can truet. a man unlike her father. a man unlike her ex, ethan. so giving into the attraction between them becomes an easy choice.

tor and marnie slip into a relationship really easily, especially given everything marnie has been through. tor is the ideal partner. he's confident enough in the bedroom to let marnie take control. and his up-for-anything attitude only endears him to marnie further. the book feels somewhat rushed at the end, but everything resolves itself nicely.

**wicked seduction will publish on november 20, 2017. i received an advance reader copy courtesy of netgalley/entangled publishing (scorched) in exchange for my honest review.

Wicked Seduction by Tina Donahue is the Fourth book in the "Takeover / Wicked Delights" Series. This is the story of Marnie and Tor. I haven't yet read the other books in this series so for me this was a standalone book.
Marnie had a hard start with life and a bad boyfriend later she is guarded person. In addition she is feeling that she self conscious of herself and the scars that she has inside and out. Looking to get a Tattoo to help deal with the outside scars leads her to meet Tor.
Tor is a 3D Tattoo artist and they had instant attraction but it soon went toward love.
Enjoyed reading their story.

I have mixed feelings about this story, as it did have potential and there were parts I liked. But sadly they were few and far between, and although I did finish this book it was a bit of a struggle at times.
But I did like the characters and there were plenty of sexy times. Even though they didn't really sizzle. And I thought the abuse aspect, was good, well handled and fairly believable. However it just didn't all connect together for me. Which is why I gave this story two stars.

I couldn't connect to the characters, and the story was both rediculously fast, yet tedious somehow. I think it was that this fearful abused woman jumped into bed with a guy she just met, and then nothing else happened. I was almost rooting for the ex to show up just for some plot movement. Just didn't work for me as either a romance or erotica.

Marnie is getting back on her feet after fleeing a bad relationship. As part of her new life, she arrives at Wicked Brand in search of tattoos to cover scars from a long-ago trauma, hoping it will allow her to finally feel pretty. What she gets is a hot Latin tattoo artist who sets every part of her afire.
Sexy as sin Tor can work magic with his stunning 3-D designs and wants nothing more than to see Marnie smile. She's a rare combination of sweet and wickedly sensual. Their sessions at the parlor turn into evenings of steamy delight as they feed their carnal hunger and growing intimacy, playing shameless games that leave them breathless and wanting more.
When her ex shows up, determined to have her back under his control, the danger is real.
A very well paced book that was a quick read. The characters were well portrayed but I had difficulty connecting to them, the only person who saved the book for me was Marnie's boss Alice who is a hopeless romantic and knows somehow that both Marnie and Tor should be together.

Wicked seductive is a sexy and sweet read with enough drama to keep your emotions going the whole way through this book. And if there anything a book should do is make you feel them emotions and this book does deliver that really well. This book should be getting 5 stars all day long and Tina Donahue needs to take a bow coz what a book you have given us readers, so I want to say thank you 😊 would highly recommend this book and this author to everyone.
