Beautiful illustrations that are fun to look through and point out different items. It is a fun book to read but a little young for my young learners.

A Lovely Slide & See Board Book for toddlers, to just learn the basics of finding joy in interacting with one another. A very simple message is given throughout the book, with opportunities to keep your child engaged on each page.

Bright colors are attractive for young kiddos, but this was a bit young for my son (age 3). I liked that the book is interactive and we had fun even though it was a quick pass through.

A cute book with colourful and bright pictures. In each page there is animal which is alone and when the flap is pulled, we see that they have their friends along with them to play.

A really fun read for babies. Very interesting and eye catching pictures that are easy for babies to track.

A bear is asked if he’s alone, and he looks to be, but turns out he isn’t, according to the words and then the next page. Same with a rabbit, and so on.
At first glance the artwork looks strange, with plenty of spaces that make the whole look uncentered. Turns out there’s a good reason for that, but I won’t spoil it. Some of the changes are pretty clever.
A fun timewaster for kids.

This cute children's slide book is sure to delight babies and toddlers as they reveal the hidden friends with each animal. The story highlights that activities are always better with friends. The illustrations are all bright and colorful serving to enhance the story. The title would make a great shower gift for someone expecting.

This is the type of book my one year old loves. Bright colour, interactive, repetitive language, and illustrations that are childlike yet recognizable. Really cute and one that little hand would love to get a hold of!

I love this book, and will probably buy it just so I can read it over and over. It's so fun!!! Not your typical, hidden picture behind a flap book. This book actually has pull-out pages that reveal a hidden picture that hides seamlessly within the original. I love it!!! If I could I'd give it way more than 5 stars.

This sweet board book will have little ones coming back again and again to take a peek and play with the characters within. It's an interactive slide and see book that I am sure they will love from cover to cover.

Being alone is fun but sharing your fun with others is much, much more fun. Little ones will discover that the bear is not alone... he has a friend hiding in the grass, that the bunny has five little ones waiting for her in her burrow... that mommy elephant is splashing in the water with her baby... and that the little boy is not walking in his pretty garden alone either but introduces his girl friend to us who has a lovely flower for him, just to name a few.

This is a playful, interactive book all about family and friendships and is perfect for that age level. It stresses the fact that being together is always a celebratory time. The illustrations are vibrant, colourful and very kid-friendly. I highly recommend this book.

The bear, the bunny, the elephant, the cat, the fish, the little boy - none are playing alone. Slide the flap to see who is playing with them. A sweet interactive book for toddlers. Colorful childlike illustrations fill the pages along with clear handwritte-style text. Adorable!

Sure, you can have fun on your own, but some things are even better with friends! Six different individuals are by themselves, but a slide of the board book reveals more friends! A cat plays with yarn, but with a pull of the slide, there's another cat joining in the fun! Clavis board books tend to be sturdy, and the slides will hold up to repeated use. I've got a few in my children's room that have circulated quite a bit, and they're still good to go. Liesbet Slegers books never disappoint, either: her artwork is bold and bright, and toddlers love it. This one's a solid add to collections that let kids explore their world through interactive books.

This is a wonderful little book for kids who love to open flaps, turn wheels or slide open pages. Each page shows various animals doing something alone, but when you slide the page open, there are other friends or family members enjoying the task or game with them. The last page shows a little boy having fun, but having even more fun when his friend joins him and gives him a flower. A cute story to learn animal names as well as the fact that it is okay to be alone, but others can make it more enjoyable. I love the illustrations! They are so bright and colourful and the illustrator did a wonderful job of adding the others in the slide. A great book for young children up to pre-school or maybe even kindergarten.

This is a wonderful story for board book time. The print edition will slid out and show the reader who is keeping them company or lending a hand. I want to say a great thanks that the galley showed the slides open, so that we can too see what is hidden.

Honestly I'm not sure how I could enjoy the slide book if it's in ebook format. But well, I can and the book is really interesting.

The message is super simple, letting kids to learn that being alone is nice, but together could be more fun.

A must have book, indeed.
