This is a very well written, beautifully honest book. The prose is sparkling and clear and the story resonates.
This book was about love, loss, grief, and a new beginning. Usually these books are written so that the reader always knows what is coming next. Fortunately, this book does not fit into that mold. Yes, there were predictable moments, but not the whole book. The author's writing kept me invested in the characters from page one.
Fantastic story! The descriptions of the bakery is absolutely delicious!
A book is as sweet as the title implies. Although you must read this book with a full supply of delicious baked goods. The description of all the tasty treats left me hungry all the time. The romance between Jules and Teddy is so well written by Constantine. The layers of their personality and relationship unfold slowly and it’s so lovely. A must read for anyone who appreciates a little magic, romance, and baked goods in their life.
