I haven’t ever read a book by Scarlett that I haven’t loved. Her characters are so three dimensional and entertaining. Her books are always a guaranteed laugh out loud experience.

When Philip Masterson sends Caro back in time, he doesn't expect to set off a series of events that will see her return stronger and more powerful than ever before. But her time spent with the Prodigies, Kings, and Elders in the nineties has long–reaching consequences that no one could have foreseen, consequences that increase tensions between the Mystical leadership when peace is needed. Then Caro discovers something that changes the entire trajectory of her life, and finds herself torn: between the man she loves and the man who could mean everything, and the life that she's chosen and the life that she was born to lead.
The book was decent. I didn’t know there were other books in this series, so I’m not sure how much better it would’ve made the book for me. I did like Caro. I enjoyed the plot and the book flowed well. I recommend.

What a book! I can't even explain how phenomenal this book is.

I've reread it so many times. I've reread this series so many times. I can't get enough of this amazing world, and these amazing characters.

This book had me on edge and flipping pages like a crazy woman. It's angsty, funny, badass, and PERFECT!

Every word was devoured and I'm on pins and needles waiting for the next one... I CAN NOT WAIT!!

Unique world-building and exciting characters.
I loved the relationship development and appreciated the flaws our MCs had.
There were a few bumps along the way but all and all a pretty good story.

Great installment of this series. Caro keeps getting more interesting, as do her romances.

At the end of Chosen Fool, Caro is sent 40 years in the past. Here she befriends the prodigies of the 90s and the previous kings. She starts a relationship and then bang as it ends she is time warped back into present day. Right as she finds out the truth about the relationship. The ramifications of the relationship and how it ends plays a lot into this book. All I have to stay is that she is better woman than I, cause mister would never be allowed in my personal space again. The chemistry between the two is mind blowing I will give you that. The back and forth, the love/hate thing did kinda get old. Either you love her/him or you hate them you can’t really do both for a long period of time.

Being the Chosen One to Lyric is difficult and there are issue there. I would have hated being in Caro’s shoes but I think she handles the situation well. Props goes out to Lyric for trying and failing completely. Again, Caro does a great job handling the situation for the both of them. I enjoyed the Temple uprising storyline but I really would rather have Caro back in the magical world.

For those invested in the series, there was a lacking presents of the prodigies in this installment. This is disheartening as we were well on our way of getting to know them and then bam, they are pretty much not in this book. How are they going to bond and lead the magical community if they don’t work together. Noticeably missing was London (mage prodigy), Aria (vampire prodigy) and Brenna (Brann’s twin sister). Why introduce this cast and then just throw them away?

I feel like there was no resolution in this book- not with the love triangle (well, I guess one did but another one arose), not with the uprising, or the stuff in the magical world. That didn’t stop me from liking the story though kinda just felt like it just ended though.

My Rating 4 out of 5 stars

Favorite Quote “One day, Caro… you’ll have your own Prodigy to deal with.”

Other People
Brann- Shifter Prodigy
King Collins- Caro’s mentor
King Zeller- Vampire King
Sin- Caro’s bestie “brother”
Leric- Spirit elemental

I received a free copy from NetGalley

Scarlett Dawn did it again! She grabbed a hold of me from word one and pulled me through the page of my book into this world full of magic. Caro is one of my favorite characters in the series. I love a strong female character and she delivers. She is thrown through so many challenges and she always fights her way through.

Chosen One is fast read filled with humor, romance, and twists that will take you on a journey you won't soon forget.

I will start with, I love the Forever Evermore Series! I actually cant even count how many times I have reread the whole series now. It's my go to re read when I'm in a reading rut or just missing the characters and I can say I enjoy it every time.

I was so excited to get an advanced copy of this book, I wasn't able to review it until now, not sure if I just needed space because I was sad it was over or just had to think about what to write.

The book starts off right where we left in the last one on that awesome cliff hanger, unfortunately I was kinda bummed how her time in the past went I was expecting a bit more intrigue I guess, I wont get into it but to me it fell a bit flat, but I am still enjoying the book.

I did like learning more about the Spirits but again some parts fell flat for me I didn't like how some characters were left out, it kind of felt like something was missing from the last few books that made it so great. I think also because I started to read Scarlett Dawns new series Origin, which I also enjoy but I find soo short so you don't get as into the world. Chosen One kind of reminds me of that at some points, it felt less like I got to go to this world I think if that makes sense. Yet I still love it because I love this series so much, just found myself disappointed a bit.

Also was confused about a fight between two characters it just felt a bit forced at least on 1 side didn't get why they would be mad while the other side seems like they had the right to be. don't want to say anymore on that.

I am also unsure how I feel about Caro's love life I wont get into it because I don't want to give any hints away but uhg ok maybe that's a review for the next book.

Overall I did enjoy this series I love reading it and I'm glad to have gotten a few more steps along in reading it. I will for sure be doing a re read soon might have missed things the first time around. I always find a seen more new tidbits or make connections or read it a different way I get new info and Scarlet does that so well. next time around I will probably do a full re read again, just don't want another book hangover just yet!

How did I forget to review this book! It's been that kind of month...

Well, there is a lot to cover and I am not a spoiler-writing reviewer so I'll say this: WHOA!

The 6th installment of the Forever Evermore series may just be one of my favorites. Caro finally fully comes into her own, her powers not only awakened but sharpened. We learn a little more about The One...and why she's called The Chosen!

Oooh, and that is one of the best parts! Teleporting, time travel, and serious sexual tension...not to mention a secret love affair and some angst and jealousy like nobody's business.

Dawn delivers yet another addition to a series that grows and evolves as the characters do that I just can't seem to get enough of. If ever I can get this series in paperback, they will be adorning my bookshelf because this series is truly one of the best I've read.

I look forward to seeing where things head from here...and how Caro handles the job she's been given...or should I say, jobs?

Kind of got ahead of myself by reading this second. I own the first three books but have only read the first one, I think that I should have continued with this particular series in order. Is this well written, yes, is it interesting, yes, but it's part of a series and a lot happens and a lot has happened in previous books that affect what happens in this book.

Scarlett Dawn did it again with her AMAZING STORIES THAT HAVE CLIFFHANGERS THAT ARE THE BEST/WORST EVER! I’ve been reading these books since the beginning and was impatiently waiting to get my hands on this! Chosen One did NOT disappoint! It starts off right where Chosen Fool left off, back in time, and gets better with each page!! I don’t want to spoil anything, but Caro’s story CANNOT BE DONE! Right?! If you’ve been a fan, this next installment will definitely have you impatiently waiting for the next book....

I've been following this series for a while now and this installment in Caro's saga DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! In fact, I think it's my favorite out of her arc. It picks up right where Chosen Fool left off--back in the 90's. Her complicated relationship with Cain is what makes this story. Just when you didn't think they could hurt each other more, they throw another punch at one another which has you gasping to find out what happens next. I'm anxious to see how the rest of this story will turn out (Scarlett Dawn is infamous for her cliffy endings!) and can't wait for the next one!

Chosen One by Scarlett Dawn is the next installment in the Forever Evermore PNR Series.
I strongly recommend to read the books in order. They are not standalones.
The other books in the series are: Book one, King Hall, book two, King Cave and book three, King Tomb - Lily Rucker´s story. Book four Chosen Thief, book five, Chosen Fool and book six; Chosen One are the second saga in the Forever Evermore Series and tell Caroline Jules´ story.
Chosen One picks up where Chosen Fool left off. Philip Masterson sends Caro back 40 years in time. Caro goes where no spiritual elemental has gone before. That sets off a series of events that see her return stronger and much more powerful. But it also has consequences for her private life.
Let me tell you, my heart was bleeding for Caro when I read about the ultimative betrayal her lover did. And oh boy, he did a number on her. I´m not a violent person, but I wanted to hit him with something.
The Chosen One was a hell of a ride. My heart was bleeding for the characters. This story has it all—tension, angst, suspense and heartbreak. I've smiled, laughed, cried and was angry at some point. It is not often I feel so connected to the characters, but Scarlett Dawn has accomplished just that. I love the story, the characters and the words. I highly recommend the series and wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you Scarlett Dawn !

This series is my all time favorite and I can't seem to get enough! This author has created a world I want to be part of. I love all the characters and the drama they get involved in. I was going crazy from the cliff hanger from the previous book, and now the ending in this one has me shouting! I can't wait for the next one!

3.5 stars

Pfft, I'm actually tired after reading books 4,5 and 6 all in one go. When put all together there is a lot going on. And just when I thought things were slightly settled in the love department here, they open back up again on the last page of this one and now I don't have a clue what way it's going to go. I know where I want to go and that's the same as in the last book - Merrick all the fucking way! And JUST Merrick..

This is a hard one to rate because I love this author's writing. They are so easy to read but the plot is practically non-existent (outside the romance) past the 50% mark. A new maybe baddie was introduced in this book but nothing happened there and there was no progress at all on the baddies from the past two books. And while I could keep reading about the group's mishaps, something needs to happen.

There are supposed to be 2 further books in Caro's story and I can only hope that the romance angle settles down (without a bloody triangle) and some action starts taking place with a firm plot being the focus.

I loved Scarlett Dawn's Chosen One. There were many plot twists I didn't see coming.

We picked up with Caro in bed in the 1990s, and follow her as she makes a life for herself there. After secrets are exposed, she is returned to her present and has to deal with the fallout. She also learns that she is the Chosen and has to learn to balance that with being a Prodigy as she learns to deal with the bonds that creates and make her choice on how to handle it.

I really loved the characters and story and cannot wait to see how it develops.

I received this ARC for an honest review.

Let me start by saying.....
I laughed.... I ugly cried .... I screamed at my ceiling..
I love this book it answered a lot questions I had about Caro and showed what a great character she is. Th world building was great it almost felt like you where reading three books in one . Also I very much enjoyed Elder Merrick and Sin “Yum”. But then Ms. Dawn had to go ahead drop a whole lot of new questions into the mix 😩. It roller coaster rid of emotions. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone!!! The book was funny, adventurous, and mind blowing! I Cannot wait until the next book!!!

Recommend when reading this book: A large glass of wine, comfy reading chair, soft blanket( must have), and 10 to 15 hours of none interrupted reading time( because you will not want to put this book down)
