How far would you go for fame? Beth has found her white knight she just needs him to notice her. Just when she thinks that she has her chance she finds herself in his brother's room just about to have smoking hot sex. Rusty knows that Beth is special that is why he tells her about the bike show that he is putting together and he would like to be a part of it. Beth is excited but her eye is still on Grim and what he can do for her career that she just doesn't want to act on her feelings for Rusty. Unfortunately the past is coming for him, he did his time paid off his brother's debt but someone has dropped his name along the way. Will he get away from the club for good or will they just keep on coming? Will Beth choose the right brother or will she walk away from them both? What will happen to the three of them after the dust has settled? A great solid read always great characters and a good storyline. I was lucky enough to receive a copy via Netgalley and the publishing house in exchange for my honest review.

Spunky Australian barmaid Beth's personal motto is WWMWD? or "What would Mae West Do?". Like Mae West, Beth wants to be an actress and is overly proud of her curvaceous "girls". Other than that, I found no resemblance between the ballsy Mae West and the ditzy, indecisive, insipid Beth. Hollywood glamour, this is not.

Beth wants to be an actress and she wants to be with Grim McKinley because she thinks it will further her acting career. But silly, dim Beth ends up instead in the bed of Rusty McKinley, Grim's brother, who finds that he doesn't like the idea of Beth with Grim but strings her along by promising to set her up with Grim. Rusty's scheme is to have Beth, a barely functioning barmaid, pretend to be his office manager to increase ratings for the reality TV show about his garage. Rocket science, this is not.

Beth and Rusty never grew on me because they individually grated. Beth constantly flaunts or thinks about her "girls" while Rusty constantly uses the patronizing endearment, "little bird". I couldn't figure out why Beth had to be from Australia but it didn't add any nuance to her shallow character. Also, it threw me when Rusty, an American, jokingly called Beth a "petrol head". Australia, this is not.

I was sadly disappointed by the lack of coherence or chemistry in this tale of bikers, bars, and broads.

I received an ARC from Netgalley.

This was a quick short read.
The beginning was a bit slow with beth trying to get Grim's attention at the bar, but instead of ending up with Grim as she planned she ended up with Rusty (Grim's brother). Oh and I must say that I just loved Rusty.

I'm not going to go into the story. I do not want to spoil it for anyone. You just have to get the book once it has been released.

This was an enjoyable read.

ARC received for review

I didn't really see the chemistry between Rusty and Beth. Just like the first two books there was a lot of shower sex and dream sex, more than actual sex between them. The whole brother drama was a little weird in spots. All these biker MCs got a little confusing.

This is the second book I have tried by the author and I honestly only finished it because I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review.. There was a lot of skimming though. This author and series clearly has a lot of fans but it is just not for me. I liked this even less than the previous book in the series because I hated the shallow, opportunistic heroine. I will not be reading any more titles in this series.
