Mia is strong, so strong and rather happy in her life, except for the pain she feels for a horse, that belonged to a deceased friend.
Sam, is sexy, is outwardly confident, though he is still struggling with the memories of a dreadful ex.
Together they are rather sweet. Storyline is based around Sam's ability to 'fix' horses. The romance is a slow build, with misunderstandings, stubbornness, jealousy and a bit of relationship 'fear' thrown in.
Overall, a sweet romance with a beautiful, tearjerker, though happy, ending

Cowboy Stole My Heart by Soraya Lane is an entertaining tale. A young woman who has always loved a man. And a man who is broken and trying to stay away from love. Then, there's the magnetic pull he feels towards one untouchable woman, Mia. Sam knows he can't have her. She's his boss. Mia knows what she wants but isn't sure how to make it work...
Attraction, lust, and a common love of working on a ranch...is found in this heated title. Soraya Lane writes with a clear purpose. To seduce her readers and engage their hearts...that's exactly what happened, here. I was hooked. I felt the characters' feelings and their dilemmas. It was funny, sweet, and charming. Temptation day in and day out will eventually get them both...it's just a matter of time. Cowboy Stole My Heart is a sexy contemporary romance. I enjoyed reading it. It wasn't as powerful as some in its genre but it still was powerful enough to keep me reading it. Overall, I recommend it.

I received an ARC from Netgalley. Sam the horse whisperer and Mia the rich horse jumper are two characters you will fall in love with. The ups and downs and past hurts that trip them up from time to time will break your heart but true love always prevails. Great read and an author I will read again.

Cowboy Stole My Heart (River Ranch #1)
Soraya Lane
My Review: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

It's been a while since I've read a cowboy romance and this one hit the spot nicely.

Sam Mendes has found fame doing what he loves. He would rather deal with horses than people any day. He is offered the chance to get away from the fame for a while, and back to what he loves best. They call him the horse whisperer, but this one may even be too much for him.

Headstrong Mia loves horses and works hard for what she has, even though she comes from money. She is competitive, proud and beautiful. Mia's dad has hired Sam to help with an unruly horse. From the offset, the sexual tension is dripping off these two and they rub each other up the wrong way. Both want the best for the horses, but they also want their own way. He likes to work alone. She wants to help. He's cocky and she's stubborn. The horse is special and is going to take a unique bond to win him over.

Sam is an alpha male and Mia is head strong which is my favourite combination. This book is about taming the beast, but maybe that's not just the horse ;)

Cowboy stole my heart had a really good realistic storyline, and I enjoyed the journey. It has more than a romance to offer, and the ranch/horse became important to me too. 4 stars out of 5.

This is the first book I have read by this author and it definitely will not be the last. Not only was it a great contemporary romance but I really enjoyed how much research the author must have done in order to write about Sam, the horse whisperer. It was just so much more than a great cowboy romance! Not that there is ever anything wrong with a good cowboy romance, LOL. Filled with likeable characters, a good story and the right amount of romance, this book was tough to put down. I definitely look forward to what might be in store for the next book in this series.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

I think I found a new favorite author. I enjoyed spending the afternoon reading the story about how Adam and Mia fell in love. Strong, realistic characters and a believable storyline centered around two people who shared a love of horses. Loaded with sweet, sexy and sometimes frustrating moments, this book made me want to run to grab some more books by this author.

With the perfect combination of heat and passion, Ms Lane has written another romance that'll steal your heart. Sam and Mia have a chemistry that is explosive, they are the type of couple who'll stay with you long after the story ends.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Sam is hired by Mia’s dad to tame a wild horse he bought for her. When Sam and Ania meet for the first time, they form very unfavorable opinions about each other. But despite that there is attraction between them. Sam, having been burned in the past is not willing to give in to the chemistry. Is he willing to give up his stubbornness for a chance of being with Mia ?
Cowboy stole my heart was a sexy, sweet, swoon worthy, emotional and witty read. I enjoyed the way the story developed and was paced, though I found the ending a bit rushed. The characters were well developed and likable, making me root for them. I will definitely recommend Cowboy stole my heart.

I haven’t read too many of Ms. Lane’s books but will rectify that since I really enjoyed this one. It is equal parts sexy, swoony, witty and steamy, many of the things I look for in a good romance. I loved Sam and Mia and found that I was rooting for them from the beginning. I guess you could say that this book stole my heart!

Cowboy Stole My Heart is a well-written book by Soraya Lane. Ms. Lane has given us a book with phenomenal characters. The angst level is low to medium for our hero, but not overwhelming. Sam is a famous horse whisperer and is bitter from a past relationship. Mia is the owner of a troubled horse, her father hires Sam to work with the horse. Their story is packed with drama, humor, a little action and a bit of spice. It took me a couple chapters to really get hooked by this story but was well worth it. I enjoyed reading Cowboy Stole My Heart and look forward to my next read by Soraya Lane. Cowboy Stole My heart is book 1 of the River Ranch Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. I also won a print copy of this book from Goodreads. I must have really been meant to read this book!

Overall a good love story. Mia, the rich owner of a dangerous stallion, and Sam, the horse whisperer, make a good couple. When her father hires Sam to help, and they slowly build on their attraction, it was fun to read about. I did find the angst of his past a little hard to swallow though, and felt he over did the broken hearted past a bit long. Besides that though, I liked the characters, the storyline and the horses. Fun read, and one I highly recommend.

While I enjoyed the romance of Mia and Sam I was fascinated with the horses and ranch.

First perception to anyone who doesn't know Mia is that she is a spoiled rich princess. None of that could be farther from the truth. Mia knows what hard work is and isn't afraid to get dirty. Once Sam puts his first impressions aside and takes in all that is Mia Ford he is highly impressed with her horse operation and her success as a jumper.

While Sam might be the hired help he is a huge success in his career as well. Having been burned in his previous relationship, Sam fights hard the attraction that is brewing between him and Mia. Mia is ready to go all in as her crush is finally here and hotter than she remembered. These two fumbling around with their emotions while taming a sweet stallion who has his own issues was a sweet story. This is a series I am anxious to read.
