Great book, love this author and how they can keep my attention to the end! The plot is well developed, characters are believable and they obviously paid attention to detail to make the story worth your time to read.

They All Fall Down has an intriguing premise, where our main character, Hannah, is in a mental health clinic after some unknown event that’s referenced but not revealed until later in the book. During her stay, two women die from what seems to be suicide, but Hannah isn’t convinced. Dealing with her personal demons, a marriage that’s falling apart, and the death of her friends, she takes it upon herself to try and find proof that their deaths weren’t suicide after all.

To be honest, I struggled with this book. There were SO many subplots and character POVs that I found it hard to keep them all straight. I know the author was trying to tie everything together in the end, and while I did enjoy the final two chapters of the book, I felt like parts of the middle of the book were convoluted and confusing.

Ultimately, I think I wasn’t the right reader for this story. While I did like the overall plot, the execution wasn’t my favorite. If you are someone who likes multiple POVs and several storylines, you may enjoy this one more than I did. I ended up rating this one 2.5 stars, rounded up to 3.

This might be the first book I've read in which one of the characters was dead and I found myself really sad that I never got to know her. This is a pretty good suspense novel. The conclusion is a bit far-fetched, but ultimately satisfying if you are rooting for the protagonist and her estranged sister. It's also one of the most realistic portrayals of a mental health facility that I can remember reading in quite some time.

They All Fall Down by Tammy Cohen seemed promising from the blurb, but I wasn’t blown away by this one. While I found it to be an enjoyable read, it was a bit slow at times and the ending seemed far-fetched. I did like the multiple perspectives and there were a few twists I didn’t expect. I would pick up another book from this author.
Thank you NetGalley, Pegasus Books, and Tammy Cohen for the opportunity to read They All Fall Down. It was my pleasure to write an honest review

This is, hands-down, one of the very best books I have read so far this year, and possibly ever.

The pacing of this story was incredible. With every single chapter, I felt that there was another huge reveal, and it always fit in to what you already knew so perfectly. This is seamless perfection. The constant reveals method of story-telling can so easily become over-done and burn the reader out, but that does not happen here. Rather, the new information constantly challenges the reader's assumptions in amazing ways.

What I found most impressive was Cohen's ability to weave the web of this story so expertly that the reader feels the same mental turmoil as the main character, Hannah. She often feels that she is losing her mind, and the self-doubt, the questioning her assumptions and what she knows to be true, eats away at her sanity little by little. She cannot be sure of how to keep herself safe, because she cannot tell for certain if what she's feeling is because of a genuine threat or because her mind is working against her. For the reader, the most logical and "obvious" answers to the riddles in the book are almost always wrong.

From the very beginning, we know that Hannah is in an in-patient psychiatric facility because there was an incident with her pregnancy and baby. Hannah is questioned, challenged - including by herself - how could she do it? The reader naturally assumes that Hannah's baby died and she is somehow culpable. What a tragedy! And then, as we continue to read, we wonder, how can this loving, driven woman who is devastated by recent incidents have done something sinister to her own child? And then we read what has actually happened, and we are heartbroken and amazed, and empathize with Hannah on a far deeper level than even before.

Once I started reading, I struggled - without much true effort - to put the book down again. If I could have devoured this entire story in a single sitting, I absolutely would have done so. I love to read, and I look for the best part of a books to review, which is why many of my reviews are three to four stars. They All Fall Down receives five stars from me for the way I felt when the book was over. I literally laid my head back with the book in my hands, closed my eyes, and just went through the story again and again. This was an incredible, emotional journey with characters that will stay in my heart forever. I will absolutely be reading this again, and probably sooner than later!

WOW! What a thrill ride this book was! And, I found the story to be very unique and engaging. The character development was wonderful and the plot twisty and unpredictable. This one kept me on the edge of my seat and furiously flipping pages, until WAY past my bedtime.

*I received a complimentary ARC of this book from NetGalley & Pegasus Books in order to read and provide a voluntary, unbiased and honest review, should I choose to do so.

This was a good psychological thriller with a very interesting plot but I felt it dragged a bit in some parts. Sometimes it had so much going on that it was a little hard to keep up with in spots. I enjoyed the beginning and the ending but somewhere in the middle it lacked a little bit and seemed to slow down. It had quite a few twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and kept me in suspense. The characters were complex and intriguing the more we got to know about them. I did like the book but it was different from her usual work. * I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review *

This psychological thriller centers around Hannah, a patient at a psychiatic clinic. After two other patients die of apparent suicides, Hannah is convinced that they were murdered. However, no one believes her. Nothing is quite as it seems, and it's up to the reader to discover bits and pieces of the truth along the way.
This one was more of a slow burn for me. It took awhile to get into, as important details are not quickly revealed. I did enjoy the twists that occurred, but I prefer a more fast-paced novel. If you enjoy an unreliable narrator and don't mind waiting on events to really kick in, you might really enjoy this one!

I was sucked right into this book. I enjoyed the flawed characters and the creepy atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this book to my patrons, and I would search out her earlier works.

I'm willing to suspend my disbelief pretty far, but the twists and turns of this story-- particularly the way in which the mental hospital was portrayed-- were far beyond realistic. Even so, I enjoyed the multiple perspective style of the novel.

I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for my e-copy in exchange for an honest review.

This book was very enjoyable. You believe in the character well enough to buy into the necessary suspension of belief required for these sort of books to be worthwhile. The setting is both dramatic and engaging and the twists flow well, This is about a women accused of being "crazy" in a crazy setting, which is hard to pull off, but Cohen does it. I've read all her books and this is an improvement over some recent offerings.

I was not ready for this book to be done! There were many layers to the story, but it was never confusing for information to come out.

The first thing I did when I finished reading this book, was look for more from this author. Can’t wait to read the next!

An engrossing novel that puts the psychological in psychological thriller. Set in a psychiatric clinic, readers are given an unreliable narrator and a glimpse of the horror of knowing something and not being believed. The cast of characters is varied and the patients' illnesses are presented realistically. This is a must-read for established fans of Cohen and will be sure to attract new readers.

I received an ARC from NetGalley. The below is my honest, unbiased opinion. Thank you, Tammy Cohen, the publisher, and NetGalley, for allowing me to read an early copy.

She knows there’s a killer on the loose.
But no-one believes her.
Will she be next?

Hannah had a normal life – a loving husband, a good job. Until she did something shocking. Now she’s in a psychiatric clinic. It should be a safe place. But patients keep dying.

The doctors say it’s suicide. Hannah knows they’re lying. Can she make anyone believe her before the killer strikes again?

THEY ALL FALL DOWN is such a fantastic read! I LOVE books set in psychiatric wards. I think there's so many opportunities to explore the human condition in a clinic setting, and Cohen didn't leave me hangin'. The character development is phenomenal, and the setting is the right amount of creepy. I loved the mystery and the twists. This was my first Cohen mystery, and I can't wait to read her other books. 5 stars!

Not bad and not out of this world This is the first book I've read by the author ad will probably try few more.

The story gets a bit overwhelmed with a lot of character and voices that it just gets confusing and a little boring. The premise is awesome and the writing style is overall well done.

A fan of thrillers like The Girl On The Train and Gone Girl, I knew I had to read this book. I am awed and inspired by the turn of phrase Cohen uses in this wonderful book. We are introduced to a main character, Hannah, who is flawed and damaged as only the best lead characters can be. We follow her into a wonderful setting - The Meadows - which is a psychiatric hospital she has been installed in after an unknown event occurs. I grew to love and enjoy the other characters in this book and was surprised and awed at the twist ending! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a great book with which to curl up by the fire.

4.5 rounded up to a 5
Hannah is patient in a high risk psychiatric clinic trying to get better after her "incident" which has left her family relations and marriage strained. Two patients who befriended her in the clinic have suddenly died in a matter of weeks. The women's deaths were labeled as suicide, their past histories show prior attempts, but Hannah is convinced that it’s the work of a serial killer and that she is next. But when everyone thinks you are crazy how do you get them to believe you?

They all fall down is a wonderfully dark psychological thriller with a bit of mystery in which the main character, Hannah, is a part of two story lines that intertwine. The first story line is the reason that Hannah and the turmoil between her and her family. The second story line focuses on the recent deaths of Hannah's new friends and the disturbing events occurring at the clinic. My reason for not giving this novel a full 5 star rating is that this was a slow hook for me due to the fact that I had a difficult time connecting with any of the characters. That being said, I really enjoyed this novel, the plot quickly takes off and is filled with lots of twists and turns that had me hooked until the end. I would highly recommend this novel if you enjoy books by Ruth Ware and Paula Hawkins as it is very similar in style.

4 Stars. This was an easy and decent read for me. Hannah has been committed to a high risk clinic. She has made friends with a few of the other girls. Sadly, 2 out of the 4 girls of Hannah’s squad commit suicide. Hannah doesn’t believe her friends would do that though. She believes there is a killer on the loose.

This fast paced. Multiple POV which I looooove! Recommend.
