I just had a hard time getting through the book. It took me 3 days and I kept putting it down. I think it was because of Grayson. I just did not like that dude, at all. He was driving me crazy left and right. I'm all for an Alpha, but he was really extreme.

Holy crap. Loads of messed up scenes and people. Deep pain and deep love.

I have to say I was not expecting this type of writing and story from an independent author, but I have learned to never judge a book before cracking the cover.

This book is longer than the average book and at first I was getting frustrated with the amount of back and forth situations. However, once I got to the last 3/4 of the story, I understood why the author chose to completely develop the characters as she did. WOW

The author brought us a crazy story loaded with hot men, spine tingling sexy scenes, twisted people, controlling men, strong women, and every situation you could imagine. She added in several twists that you are not expecting and gave the reader an overall great story!

A couple of spots I did get lost as to who was leading in the dual POV so make sure to pay attention to chapter changes.

Smoking hot story and I cannot wait till book two, Unjustly Destroyed, which will be coming up shortly.

This book was above and beyond entertaining. I could not stop reading, was hooked left right and centre. The content was thoroughly pleasing and I was happily pleased with what I read.
The story through the eyes of each character made it even more likeable and gave additional insight into the minds of the two main characters.
Definitely , by far, a must read.

I loved reading the amazing and captivating erotic romance story. I voluntarily reviewed a copy through NetGalley. After Emmalin spends one unforgettable, passionate night with Grayson Mandrake, Grayson wants more from Emmalin. Grayson is dominant, controlling, but caring toward Emmalin, but Emmalin's feelings are getting in the way and Grayson's domineering ways are confusing. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written full of romance and intrigue, and a must read love story.

This is an adult romance book. If you like graphic descriptions of sex and discussion of abusive situations. This may be the book for you. I give it three stars because it was well written even though I didn't care for the descriptive adult situations in the book.

This is a highly steamy romance with plenty of hot scenes so it may not be for everyone, especially if you like your romances on the sweeter side. Grayson is the absolute alpha male taking care of his woman. However I find him too authoritarian and many times it is just too much. Emmalin seems to try to balance between being submissive and/or rebellious. Though the story starts the expected hot romance story, it is enriched by soft BDSM scenes.

In general I liked the pace of the story and the characters. The author added some mystery to both central heroes, as well as to the rest of the characters. Even the end of the story intrigues the reader with what will follow.

Fifty Shades fan fiction- not great, but not too bad either.
Grayson is hard to like at first, he's a jerk to everyone but softens up when he meets Emmalin. Emmalin has a reachable and realistic personality that floats the story. It was iffy at first, but the more I read, the more I grew to like Incapable. It definitely has touches of other novels, but is unique in its own right. Fans of Fifty will like it.

Sometimes you just want something easy to read so I opted for a romance novel. At first it seemed the standard "billionaire unpleasant man beds poor girl in 20 positions and suddenly falls in love" kind of story. What can be good escapist reading but what always sounds very unlikely to me. Who wants to have a relationship with an egoistic nasty person?
So I was surprised to see that in this story things are different.
Yes Greyson is a very overbearing dominant man and he would have me a nervous wreck because I would feel like a prisoner but it becomes clear that it is done with good intentions. His love interest does react different to his behaviour than I would have done. She just let it happen and seems to like it. What made me wonder.
Unlike many of this kind of novels the writer gives a solid explanation of both the persons behaviour: He has lost people dear to him because he did not protect them, she has a past in which she lacked any protection.So they are a good fit. It turned out to be a believable lovestory and had a lot of humor elements as well.
The title incapable in my opinion points to how they are damaged by their personal history.

Overall I found part 1 to be good with a hot romance.

Incapable by Marie Skye is the First Book in the "Incapable" series. This is the story of Emmalin and Grayson. Please note that this book does have a cliffhanger to set you up for the next book "Unjustly Destroyed".
Emmalin is dealing with a tragic issue that has affected her whole life and personality. Emmalin tries to mental run from the issue and just works and returns home. Which was her coping action but then Grayson happens. Grayson knows he wants her and will do anything to get Emmalin as his own.
Grayson was the hot alpha male with some issue and Emmalin is the submissive with a trouble past

Seemed similar to 50 Shades especially the main male character with his dominant personality. The descriptions were written decently when illustrating relationships and thoughts, so good job on that.

Love it! At first I thought OK another 50 shades book, but wow so much better! The storyline behind the characters is well thought and written and just keeps going! Finished this a d started book 2 immediately.... Well written with a great story behind the story.... Reminds me of a beginning of another Alethea Romig

Just wow! This is a new to me author and I'm wildly impressed! She is now in my top authors! Marie skye draws you in and makes you defer like a spectator in her books! Loved it and look forward to more from this fabolous author!

I can't say I actually like this book. Both the plot line and the characters were dull, so much I had to force myself into finishing it. Grayson is such an overprotective, jealous character and Emmalin allows him to control her life, friends and work. Every time they have a problem or a fight, Greyson -with Emmalin consent- fucks her senseless (sorry for the term) and they return to act as if nothing had happened. This is the kind of story that makes women think that having their lives controlled by their parter is something normal, but in the real world, their relationship would end in domestic abuse.
I will not be reading the following books from this serie.

I love the love at first site romance between emmalin and grayson. Even though Emma tried to push him away, no matter how hard she tried he stood right beside her. They're love is untouchable and their trust begins to grow with each other. I love their love and cant wait to read more!

Your average controlling billionaire playboy falls for poor girl romance. The author wove in some decent character development, but let's be real, that's not why we're reading these. Straightforward and would recommend for a quick read.
