Eddie and Margot have known each other since childhood but recently they became more than friends which resulted in a surprise pregnancy. Their relationship is sweet and sexy. I really enjoyed this book!
If loving Leslie North is wrong, I don't want to be right. Ever. Because- wow! Sexy, steamy fast and fun is her track record and this novel holds no bars with its over the top dramatic sexy romance. I LOVE these!
This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.
I really liked Eddie in the first book, and he continues to grow up in this next book! When he gets the surprise that he is going to be a father, he is pressured into proposing by Margot's father. Throughout the book, he figures out that he needs to be true to himself and what Margot wants not what his future father-in-law wants.
Their history as children growing up together was so cute and I would have loved to see those two as they did their wedding march!
I really thought that there would be more drama when Margot found out that Eddie was pressured into proposing but that really wasn't an issue between them. The first book there was more drama with Sam not understanding he needed to change for his marriage to work, so this was not as drama filled as the first book.
I loved the end when Eddie had Margot meet him on the boat that was a great scene and also loved the epilogue when we see the happy parents!
Interesting next installment of the Jameson brothers. Eddie the billionaire playboy has turned over a new leaf—just in time to become a new dad.
This was another good story by Leslie North. I haven't yet read a book by Leslie that I didn't like. This was a fun book. Eddie was a player who knocked up a girl he had liked since they were kids. When she sees him in a bar and tells him the news, he goes into over protective mode and gets uber responsible. She just wants the old Eddie back. I loved the naked yoga scene. Both of them work too hard and get over tired and stressed out. He forgets an important appt and she flips out. They finally work it out. I would have liked to have a birth scene. It would have been hilarious. Eddie is going to make a great daddie.
As usual Leslie North does not disappoint. This book was a really good read. Not too long, just the right amount of story.
I liked this book. Didn't love it as much as book one, but this was ok.
Wow just wow this has got to be my favourite series by this amazing and brilliant author. Loved it from the first book, till the second and I can’t wait for the third book. Want it now. It’s like having addiction with Leslie Norths books she always leaves you wanting more and more each time. My favourite author of all time. Just love her and her books. Couldn’t recommend a better author or her books.

I was confused - there was very little backstory and very little character development. That said, if you're looking for a quick, steamy read, this does the job well!
ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a fast paced charming story.
The playboy Eddie Jameson gets the news that he is going to be a father.
He is totally shocked, but then he recovers.
He totally wants to be part of his child's life.
Now, operation woo the baby's mother is in effect.
Eddie was a charmer, and I do think that he went a little overboard on the wooing.
Margot wants to keep the child.
She is overwhelmed by Eddie's attention.
She wants the relationship to work.
Eddie just have to dial down a bit.
Very charming story.
A good story, but I didn't love it. You get their night together as a flashback from Margot and I'm not even sure what prompted them getting together, other than being a bit drunk? I guess I just wish there had been more backstory and the whys of Eddie making such a drastic switch in personality.

When I started this book, I felt like I was missing something. I assumed I could read this as a standalone but maybe I should I have read the first book first. It wasn't a huge deal as I could follow along with the plot but the one night stand had already happened so I felt like I jumped into the middle of the story instead of the beginning. Like the whole fling part happened backstage (or maybe in the first book?). I was kind of thrown off by the setup of the story. I expected that they would meet and have their one night then little bit later bam, pregnant and so forth. It didn't happen this way. Maybe it was the way the beginning was setup but something was a little off for me.
I had a hard time connecting with the story and wasn't incredibly invested until the very end. This was a cute and fun story to read with some sweet moments but mostly I was just reading it just to get to the end so I could write this review. I wish I more involved in the story and characters but I felt like a spectator who had started watching mid way through and missed the whole point. This book had a lot of potential but it fell flat for me.
For me the order of this book is off. It just seems to jump around a bit.
Good storyline but I just couldn't get into it, perhaps due to the descriptions being too detailed and draggy for my liking. Do give this book a read if it's in your range of genres though, as it's not too bad.
