Desired tells the story of Samson from the Bible through the eyes of the women in his life - a young Philistine girl named Amara, who became his wife but who died tragically young, his mother, and then Delilah, who eventually takes steps that lead to his death. We get to go really in depth on each of the women and come to understand how each of them impacted Samson's life.

I enjoyed this book very much. I've always loved the tale of Samson and Delilah and relished getting to know both of them better, as well as the other women in his life. I was entranced from beginning to end.

In summary, I enjoyed reading this take on the Samson and Delilah tale, and give it 5/5 stars.
