So it's been a few days since I finished reading this and I think it is time i post a review. I was sent this book in exchange for an honest review by Netgalley. At first I did not know what to expect going into this book. However once I started it quickly became a joyful and fun read for me. It was a simple reminder that you do not have to live in fear. It's a choice and one that you get to make about your own life. Overall I really enjoyed this and think it would really benefit anyone who suffers with fear and anxiety.

This was such a great read by a young lady who is a truly beautiful example of young Christian leadership. In today's society of young people who are out to corrupt our youth, I am so thankful to the Lord for role models like her! Even though I am a lot older than Sadie, I still got so much out of her book. We live in a society that constantly feeds our anxiety and fear. This was a great book on prioritizing a way to gain control over our fears and truly LIVE FEARLESS! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who finds themselves struggling with fear or anxiety or knows someone who does. I highlighted the parts that I thought were important and have already found myself going back to it for references not only for myself, but also when working through my son's fears.

It is hard to live fearless in a world that makes you feel so fearful. What is even harder is to be fearless and put your trust in God and live by faith. Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real- we all KNOW this but we don't KNOW KNOW.

I appreciated this book, it is a timely reminder to cast ALL our fears on God and trust in him. Living in fear means you are not achieving your full purpose in life.

I loved how the book had different prompts that cause you to pause and really think about your answers. I especially love the prayers in each section. Sometimes it is hard to really pray specifically and I think the prayers were a major stand out for me.

A solid spiritual read.

Not just for teens.

I feel like this book is probably marketed towards teens. Or at least that was my assumption when I started reading it. I thought I would read it first then pass it on to my 16 year old. I was so pleasantly surprised though.
Full of truth delivered in such a sweet voice. I've heard Sadie on a podcast (and enjoyed it so much I listened a second time). I've even watched a few of her messages online. She is a young woman who is on fire for God and you can feel that in her words.
A must pick up IMO.

Not sure how this book ended up being requested, I don't have an interest in reading this book because of it's involvement in faith. Thank you for sending it to me regardless, and I hope I get the chance you read more of the books you have in the future, both by this author and others as well.

Not what I thought it was going to be. But it was a good book.
I thought it was going to be more about her and how she lives her life. But it was more bible study then that.

Live Fearless by Sadie Robertson...where do I even start? This book swept me off my feet. I know it takes a lot of courage to be vulnerable, and this book was full of vulnerability from Sadie about times she was afraid and how she overcame fear.

I loved everything about this book! I was afraid it was going to be a nice concept without much practical application, but Sadie made it personal and relatable and it really hit close to home for me.  I really appreciated her personal testimonies and revelations of what God spoke to her.

Having followed Sadie for several years now, I did recognize many things in the book from previous messages she's said, but it was good to read them again and see how it all connected for her personally.  Some of my favorite parts of the book included her messages about plankton, connect the dots, and the real verses true comparisons.  Sadie got SO REAL in this book and I know that it will be freeing for so many people!

At the end of each chapter, she had questions, challenges, Scriptures, prayers, and journalling opportunities to help make the concept presented in the chapters personalized and applicable to the reader.  I highly recommend this to people of pretty much any age.  I believe this book will really make an impact on those who are willing to answer some tough questions about themselves.

I downloaded this book and didn't realize the format was epub file. I tried opening it several months later and found I didn't have access to the file any more. I am sure it was a great book.

This was an ok book. I did not realize it was written for those much younger than myself.

I would recommend this well written and truly helpful book to those who are looking for words of encouragement, those who may be going through a tough time and need help getting through it, and those who are struggling to overcome their fears. I think it would be especially helpful to the teen getting ready to graduate high school (possibly sophomores and juniors as well) and also to the young adult who is finishing college and beginning life on their own.

Ms. Robertson provides helpful narratives and activities in the book that will help you on your journey to living your life fearlessly. As you read the book it comes off more like a conversation between friends than it does just a book you are reading for the information it contains. And your friend truly wants to see you overcome the things in your life that are holding you back, that cause a fear in you and to find your passion and purpose.

Despite the fact that it's definitely not my word for the year, fear seems to be taking a front row seat in my reading. Not only have I read a few books combating fear this year, the high school retreat we had a few months ago focused on Joshua and how he faced his fears as well.  Combating fear is never an easy task, but in her new book Live Fearless, Sadie Robertson reminds us that it is possible.

I've been a Roberston family fan since the early days of Duck Dynasty. Though I don't know them personally, their willingness to speak about and share their faith has been encouraging. Their fight to teach their children morals and manners and faith is encouraging. I've watched Sadie Robertson from afar as she danced on Dancing With the Stars, begun creating fashion lines, and even speaking.

In reading Live Fearless, I was reminded once again of the fact that we really don't get to see what's going on inside a person. Especially when we see them on "reality" TV or through social media. Robertson shares how she has battled some serious issues in her life as a result of fear. She's had to push through the fear and learn how to live fearlessly based on truth in scripture.

Live Fearless is the perfect book for a teenager who might be struggling right now with fear. I wasn't the target audience. But there was still plenty for me to glean from the message Robertson shares within these pages. She writes a genuine message that shares her heart for others to find freedom like she has.

Robertson may not have set out to be a role model for young girls. But she is filling in that role quite well. She's sharing the message God has given her.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley. This review is my own, honest opinion.

Sadie Robertson, bestselling author and star of Dancing with the Stars, has an important message for her generation: you don’t have to be held back by fear, anxiety, or loneliness anymore. In Live Fearless, Sadie takes you on a thrilling personal journey toward power, passion, and purpose as you live at the center of who God created you to be!...From Publisher

Sadie uses her personal journey to share how she has learned to live reducing her fear. The first half of the book, seemed preachy or didactic to this reader. The bible verses shared was helpful and enlightening and her sharing of her experience with Dancing with the Stars was interesting.  The second half of the book was much more readable and was easier to pull out the nuggets Sadie shared. Although the pulling out of the "note" helped the reader understand what Sadie felt important, it broke up the flow of the reading of Live Fearless. Examples of prayers when applying God's word will be helpful to those teens who are still new to their faith. This book should be given to both believers and nonbelievers alike, giving them a roadmap or an alternative to living in fear. Recommended to any young adult, especially young ladies who can relate with Sadie and her fear.

I received an ARC ebook from Netgalley  and the publisher, Thomas Nelson in exchange for an honest review.

I am reviewing a copy of Live Fearless through Thomas Nelson and Netgalley:

In this book bestselling author as well as star of Dancing With the Stars reminds us what it is to Live Fearless in Jesus. It reminds us that it is okay to get tired of the struggle.

Robertson points out that in order to overcome fear we must surrender control.

We are reminded that living Fearless does not mean we are never afraid it means that we have the courage to overcome that fear.

This book reminds us too that the enemy does not want us to be everything God wants us to be.

I give Live Fearless five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!

This is such a wonderful book. I am a 26 year old woman and I have been struggling with fear, anxiety, and depression for quite a while. I picked up this book without a whole lot of belief that it would help much. I mean, what help could this young woman be to me. Turns out, a lot!

I have followed Duck Dynasty and read the books by the other members of this wonderful family but I didn’t think I would learn so much from someone quite a bit younger than me. As it turns out, Sadie suffered from a lot of fear her entire life. With prayer and a lot of hard work, along with the help of God, she was finally able to conquer it. This is her story and tips for how we can also overcome it and live the life God planned for us.

I highlighted more parts of this book than any other book I have read, other than the Bible. I highlighted Bible passages that moved me, suggestions that I found extremely helpful, and quotes I enjoyed and want to remember. When I have a tough day, I plan to look back at these highlighted passages and remind myself of God’s love and plan for my life.

By the time I got to the end of this book, which didn’t take long at all because it’s a short book, I felt a peace I haven’t felt in a long time. I finally felt as though I can defeat fear in all its forms and try to live a happier life. I plan to use some of Sadie’s tools, along with my Bible, and try to restore my peace and happiness.

I thank Sadie for writing this book and sharing her journey with the rest of us. I would recommend this book to anyone who struggles with fear, anxiety, or any byproduct of them. Don’t discount this book due to Sadie’s age, she has a lot of wisdom and it can help you too.

*I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher. A positive review was not required. All opinions are my own.*

I really enjoyed reading this book. Sadie uses her own personal experience and the things she has learned from them to help guide others to living a fearless life. While her writing style is structured more for a younger audience I truly believe that anyone can use this book to help better themselves.

I originally wanted to read this book to see if it would be beneficial for my daughters to read once they enter their teen years. However, the more I read, the more I began to enjoy it and the message that Sadie pours out in it. Let me preface this review by saying I never really watched Duck Dynasty. I've only seen two episodes. Plus I do not watch Dancing With the Stars. I read this book as a Christian father with two young daughters that are growing up in a time of uncertainty and social turbulence. I found the message and lessons in this book to be insightful and timely. I will gladly give it to my daughters when they are older.

This book is not about Sadie Robertson. It will not teach you how to have her life and her success and her passion for everything. However, this book will unlock the potential that is inside of you to live a fearless life if you embrace the trust and guidance of Jesus Christ. Guided by Psalm 46, Sadie Robertson chronicles how her faith in God has helped her to break free from the bonds of anxiety, fear, and worry in her life. Not once does Sadie proclaim how strong she is to be able to overcome the obstacles in her life. She makes it a point to give God the glory in all circumstances. The material contained in this book is Biblically sound and straight from the heart.

Sadie shares the personal battles she has faced in her past, plus those she continues to encounter everyday, and how she uses the power of prayer and her faith in God to push through and overcome them. Several different Bible translations are used to clarify key points, as well as quotes from evangelists and scholars such as John Piper.

Each chapter has questions, challenges, words of encouragement, prayer points, and key points to take note of. Work the Word challenges the reader to live fearlessly in the face of adversity by creating an action plan. There is also a notes section to write and reflect as you go along.

I would recommend this book to all Christians, especially youth and young adults. Young people today face many uncertainties and hardships day in and day out. This book would be a great tool to accompany a daily Bible regimen. I received this as a free ARC from Tommy Nelson (Thomas Nelson: Children's) on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book is very well written. Sadie is one of my favorite people in the world especially when it comes to faith and spirituality. I watched many of her youtube videos including her talk to fellow college students which has some references in this book. I also like how we both have dealt with some form of anxiety in our lives and she is just someone who is very easy to relate to and understand. I'm not sure if that is because we are close in age or what. I consider myself a Christian and this definitely has helped me with my beliefs and my faith along with find new bible verses and just learning even more about myself and the world. Thank you Sadie for putting this out into the world

I think everyone, religious or not, should read this book and at least take some of the lessons into your life. There is good advice in its pages. As I read the book, I constantly thought about some of the stories and messages. They stay with you even after you finish reading. The only thing that really threw me, was the different versions of the Bible used. I only use one version, so it felt odd reading verses with wording I didn't recognize. It is interesting to read the different versions and see things from a different point of view. The message doesn't change, but your connection to it might.

The book was pretty good. I really didn't know what to expect but it was okay. I didn't really read the description. I thought this was just going to be about her life. I didn't realize this was a Christian self-help book for teens. But just because it wasn't for me doesn't mean that it won't someone else. I could see teens relating to this.
