decluttering of the speed of life is a handbook on how to de-clutter your whole house room by room. The author gives pragmatic and practical advice on how to deal with too much in your space. She begins with defining what decluttering is and what not and even creates her own words to make things clear. What makes this book different and very applicable is that she uses 2 question for each cluttering item. In addition to her container concept which takes emotional decisions out of the decluttering process. She writes humorously and uses her own experiences for the whole process. It is a recommended reading or all people who want to have less in their space and need advice how to process.

Very detailed step-by-step approach to declutter a home that does not have much organization.

A solid effort, addressing the mindset behind hoarding, pack-ratting, over storing (however you prefer to refer to it).

This is not so much about finding and keeping things that 'spark joy' and more about fixing the behavior patterns behind accumulating and keeping.

Written humorously and well, and helpful for people wanting to get control of their space.

Recommended.

Decluttering at the Speed of Life is the book for them because not only offers advice and a plan how to have a better organise house, but it gives a plan about how to life your life 'with only things that matter'. It gives you criteria and reasons why you have to start living the life, instead of hiding behind piles of whatever things. It is a good beginning for a much greater life vibe. Enough material to learn from everyone, including someone as decluttered as me.
