In 12 Ways to Experience More with Your Husband, Cindi McMenamin gives some good suggestions on how to revive your marriage. She reminds Christian women that it is our duty as a wife to ensure that we are focusing more on what we can do for our husbands and to be more Christlike in the way we love them and be a better wife. I really enjoyed McMenamin's open and honest writing style and the stories she used as illustrations. She uses letters and emails she's received from women and the advice she gives them. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to improve their marriage.

12 Ways to Experience More With Your Husband by Cindi McMenamin.
Cindi has me when she shared that the book is not how to win back the man you married but to be the woman he originally fell in love with.
In each of the chapters she shares suggestions, stories, a prayer and a Focus of the Week. In addition, she provides scripture to back it up.

The material in this book was exactly right, but overly repetitive, hence the 4 stars. My husband and I have had a very successful marriage, (although not perfect, of course,) for nearly 29 years. The principles in this book are the ones we've found to be most effective in building a passionate, respectful, fulfilling, and satisfying relationship. These principles, though sometimes counter intuitive WORK!

Great book on bettering yourself as a wife. The author has a very well organized easy to understand writing style. She has a very versed counseling approach in style and voice. She asks great probing evaluation questions that make you think and process in new ways. She uses a good amount of scripture and uses God as an example for us. She doesn’t allow women to wallow or excuse their part in a not vibrant relationship but calls women to action. Don’t blame it all on the guy. Do something. I feel like the author understands issues that can present themselves in relationships and she is ready to share openly with the reader. She presents lots of relatable real relationship examples and then kind of does case studies with them. Wonderful book. It’s a book I would want to have in hard copy so I could mark it up.
I received a digital copy of this book from netgalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
