His Price:

“His kisses are so much more than simple affection. It’s a statement. He owns me with every bite of his teeth.”

Dirty Money:

“It’s all so much. The bindings. The blindfold. Him. His scent. Every smell. I’m aware of so much.”

“I’m falling with no place to land. She thinks the worst of me. Maybe she always had.”

Bought By The Boss is a sexy and fun read. It’s two interconnected stories in one. While His Price & Dirty Money are both quick reads. They both have instant connections and scorching red hot romances.

Overall, I really enjoyed Bought By The Boss. I thought the two story-lines were a lot of fun. The characters were easy to connect with and left you wanting more. If you’re looking for a quick sexy and hot read, look no further and give Bought By The Boss a try.

This book is fantastic and I just consumed it. It's a tough one to put down..I just couldn't.
Jackson and Liam, best friends though law school until something happens to despise each other. Neither will talk about what happened, although ten years have passed it could have happened yesterday. These two are a constant festering wound.
Liam has it bad for Jackson's assistant Aria. Trying to respect the boundaries and Aria's relationship with Jackson; Liam gets his opening when he bids on a weekend date with her at a charity auction.
It's Liam's dream come true. Aria doesn't know what to expect with Liam after hearing all the bad nonsense that Jackson has flung around about him, but she's willing. Jackson is angry because Liam's won the weekend date with her.

3.5 Stars. I found this book enjoyable. After I read the first story, I was anxious to get started on the second. I found the entire premise really interesting and different. I liked the characters okay, but I felt like their development fell a little short of what I prefer. I didn't end up feeling much connection with any of them, even though I was interested in their stories and how the events would play out. This is the first book I've read by this author, and I would definitely read more.

I received an ARC via NetGalley and am happy to provide this honest review.

Amazing sexy read

I always enjoy Stacey Kennedy's books and Bought By the Boss with is 2 connecting stories is by far one of her best. His Price is the relationship between Aria and Liam. The chemistry positively jumps off the pages. Their feelings for one another are so believable as a trader you can hardly wait till their HEA. Part 2, Dirty Money is about Mallory and Jackson. Their chemistry is more surprising it bubbles up until it engulfs them. The love/sex scenes between each of the couple are absolutely flammable. The mild BDSM makes them a little edgy and incredibly hot. The relationship between Aria and Mallory adds layers to the plot as does Liam and Jackson's past. This book should be on everyone's TBR and gift lists.
I received an Advance Reader copy of this book.

Liam made my knees weak with his obvious love and adoration of Aria and of course the sex was smoking hot. The chemistry between them was incendiary. Aria knows that Liam is for real and when she returns home to her roommate Mallory, who works for Liam, the feelings come pouring out.
Liam wants a relationship and he does tell Aria what drove he and Jackson apart back when they were in school. Enough to say Jackson disgusted me and I don't care what his rationale was, he's still an ass. This book is divided into two segments: we get Liam and Aria first then tandem into Jackson and Mallory.
Mallory was in the auction too and someone has bid on her, but her date is a mystery. Until he goes to pick her up and lo and behold it's Jackson. He's bid on her to get back at Jackson and Mal knows that.
Mallory knows all about Jackson because she's been best friends and roommates with Aria for a long time. She knows what he's up to and calls him out on it. Spending a weekend with him in a quiet cabin, she comes to see a different side of Jackson and asks the 10 million dollar question- what happened with you and Liam and gets Jacksons edited version. Again. My eyes glaze over because he still ticks me off with his bull. Moving along, they have a nice weekend, christian most of the cabin and the woods, I didn't feel the chemistry I did with Liam and Aria, but obviously Mal did. She decides he isn't quite so bad, and Aria loves Jackson and always points out his redeeming qualities.
I have to hand it to these two women, working for two men who hate each other they both stick together and do talk about them and each of them really do like their respective bosses.
When Jackson brings Mallory home, Liam and Aria arrive and Liam driving home a point after going 4 rounds with Jackson in the hallway while the girls talk in their condo, Liam shows Mallory the email Jackson had sent from the first few minutes of their trip. It wasn't the photo, it was his words. Mallory is hurt. She does however defend Jackson and his behavior to Liam, then politely tells Jackson she never wants to see him again and shuts the door. Jackson is one miserable you know what and he needs to find a way to make this right. But for a smart guy he's totally people stupid. He truly is, so Aria offers a couple general suggestions. And so it goes. Jackson is left to figure out how to make amends with Mallory on his own and that's where I'll leave you.
I love anything Stacey writes, she is a storyteller supreme and weaves that perfect amount of steamy, smoking hot sex into the story that has you page turning. This book was no exception. This is a great story, keeps you interested and not quite sure of the outcome along with a couple others twists. I really loved Liam. His feelings for Aria were so... (read the book), and Aria also, loved her and Mallory. Jackson got on my last nerve which was good because he was supposed to which means Stacey did a damn good job.
Read the book!!

While I do not like to give a low rating, this book was not of the same quality and depth I have seen from this author previously. The characters were hastily described and lacked depth. The story revolved around two former best friends seeking revenge against each other through the women close to them. The plot was juvenile and the ending ridiculous and rushed.

2 former best friends turned rivals, 2 assistants, 2 very different stories but both with a HEA.
Liam and Aria - both have lusted after the other for years. What is stopping them? Her boss, Jackson.
Jackson and Mallory - he wants revenge, she wants him.
Both stories are filled with heat and keep you from wanting to put the book down and was not a slow part in it.

ARC received for review

4.5 stars

Liam and Jackson were bffs and roomates in college then there was a girl. And now they hate each other and are rival lawyers.

Book one
Liam wants Jackson's assistant, Aria, and she wants him to but doesn't want to hurt Jackson who is like a big brother. Liam wins her for the weekend at a charity auction (a very hot and sex filled weekend) and at the end they are a couple.

Book two
It starts right at the end of book one with Mallory (Aria's bff and Liam's assistant) finding out that her mystery bidder is Jackson. They go away for their weekend, and the rest of the truth about Liam and Jackson's fall out comes out. After they get home Mallory makes him work for her.

Happily ever afters for everyone and a cute epilogue

Another great read by Stacey Kennedy. As usual, she did not disappoint. The chemistry between both couples is evident throughout both stories being told in this book.
