I found this book really quite interesting.
I thought I was anti all hunting so was surprised to be reminded that humans hunt animals for food as much as animals do, but then I do live in England!
There is clearly much to be learnt from being a hunter and this book covers many topics, including birth and death, all from a Christian viewpoint, or stand.
I especially enjoyed the poems at the end of some of the stories.
My only criticism is on one of the final stories where he says grandfathers have influence over their grandchildren. A bit sexist for my liking! Grandmothers do too and surely there are female hunters as much as this book is going to have female readers.
I was given this book by NetGalley and the publisher. This is my voluntary review.
