Really enjoyed the premise of this book and the idea of living past lives. It may be a bit hard for other people to get their head around but I was able to suspend my belief on this and really got immersed in the story. I was really keen to find out what had happened to David and how Caitlyn would react to Nick's role in her past. A really good read that I finished in less than a day, which is definitely a measure of how much I enjoyed it.
When Your Eyes Close, an intriguing title that turns out to have many meanings and implications, is, at its core, a mystery well told. Strangers brought together by fate, it seems, are suddenly enmeshed in each other’s drama, with important details undiscovered until the dramatic conclusion.
While past life regression, an important element in the book, may be difficult to swallow for some readers (it turned me off to the book at the beginning), if you suspend disbelief and allow the story to wrap itself around you, insidiously, you will not be able to put this book down.
A thoroughly enjoyable read.
I received this book as an ARC from the publisher and NetGalley..
