Great Historical Mystery series. Well written, not gory. The author has done a lot of research into the historical aspect of the book. Literary mysteries.
Murder on Union Square was wonderful! The characters are like old friends you love to visit with. What I love most about this series is that it keeps my guessing till the very end. #netgalley #murderonunionsquare #victoriathompson
I love this series and these characters. I've enjoyed watching Sarah and Franks relationship change and their families increase. Frank now asks for Sarah's help on the cases while still wanting to protect her. Waiting for the next Gaslight Mystery.

The 21st volume of this series is just as wonderful as the rest of them. We join Sarah and Frank trying to legally adopt Catherine and have to deal with her legal father. (Not to be confused with her natural father, who died in one of the previous installments.) Confusing, but the author explains it so well that it not only makes sense, it also makes you shake your head at the law that makes them jump through these hoops.
This book takes you into the world of actors and actresses in 19th century New York. Sarah, Frank, Maeve, and Gino are trying to solve a murder while dealing with people who are trained to deceive everyday.
I loved this installment as much as all the others. I could not put it down. It is fast-paced with many twists and turns due to actors and actresses who keep changing their story to make themselves seem more important. It was a great story that kept you guessing. Ms. Thompson, please keep writing more of these stories!
