Unbreakable was an okay read. This series was not a favorite, as I didn't connect to the characters or like the romance. The way a certain thing went was disappointing (won't say to avoid spoilers). I also just didn't care for what seemed like an allegory plot line.
All in all, this just wasn't for me.

A lovely ending to a fun trilogy that is creative and filled with magic and heart. The author is a wonderful storyteller who evokes emotion and tugs at the heart in the best way. I was rooting for the main character the whole time, and happy to see the resolution of the series!
My father in law got very sick and my focus was too shattered to try and read. I will likely try again some day when my attention is stronger
Great world building and additions to the existing story. I didn't love the amount of pop culture references (but I'm picky about those). Captivating writing and a wonderful end to a great story.
Another great installment in this series! The descriptions and visuals in this book were amazing! I liked the plot and character development. I do feel like it was a different read for me, but that does not make it any less good. Just out of the box for me.
Team Ky all the way! And I like the idea of Reflections (Roger Zelazny comes to mind).
Yet, the book is seriously prolonged for the slower plot. I also do not like ever-changing rules, this idea can get old very soon.
But the pop-culture references are very funny and I like the sassiness of (former) bad girls here quite a lot!
Wow! What an exquisite conclusion to a thrilling trilogy! Picking up right where Unraveling left off, this final installment leaves no Reflection unturned. A feast of pop culture and literary references, masterful world building and heartfelt allegory, the entire series is not to be missed – and this last book ties it all together in stunning fashion. The combination of additional POVs, interchangeable names and multiple plot twists gives Unbreakable an especially labyrinthian feel. While this might lead to temporary moments of confusion, readers are rewarded with a truly beautiful ending that more than makes up for it. Readers who have been solidly #teamJoshua or #teamKy since the first book may change allegiance a time or two before all is said and done but the emotional resolution perfectly frames Eliyana’s story. Spiritual themes are still subtly drawn, appealing to those of faith as well as mainstream readers, but in this novel the references are more overt – and soulfully done.

Unbreakable was absolutely amazing. This was a great conclusion to this series. This cover is so incredible. Sara Ella did it again and brought her readers an absolutely fantastic book.
Unbreakable gives Sara Ella’s trilogy quite an exciting conclusion, one I didn’t anticipate. I don’t want to share too much about the story and risk spoiling it, but with plenty of twists, action told from the perspectives of Eliyana, Ky, and Ebony, and resolution to the persistent love triangle (finally!), I’m sure it’s a book that will please fans of the series. Though the pop culture references annoyed me a bit more in this book than the previous two, the story has all the fun and good-versus-evil elements I’ve enjoyed in Sara Ella’s writing. A good YA fantasy novel (and series), Unbreakable is one to add the TBR list (if you enjoy the genre) and definitely check it out. (But start at the beginning and read the series in order!)
The Unblemished Trilogy is a unique and beautiful story featuring a young woman and her trials to store the world order between light and dark. Along the way we are graced with a love triangle, monsters, good guys, and a plot that keeps you engaged. When I say this was different, it was. There were moments that I loved and of course moments that I didn’t love.
Eliyana is a character I felt like I had a love/hate relationship with. In the first book, I deeply disliked her—she was whiny, annoying, and selfish. Luckily, the story was interesting enough to keep me engaged. I’m happy to say that she grew as a character and even though at times I felt like she was slipping back into her old ways, it wasn’t enough to annoy me.
Josh and Ky—mainly Ky, were my sole reason for reading. I loved them both. This book was able to shed a new light with a wonderful POV coming from Ky. I liked being in his head; I think I just liked him. He wasn’t perfect but flawed. Flawed characters are some of my favorite. Most of the time.
If you haven’t started the trilogy yet, I think you should give it a go. It not for the fact that it has an interesting premise. The third and final book was good but still left me feeling a little bit disappointed. But I still have no doubt that fans and new readers alike will gravitate towards it.
The book is the third book in a series. You should have read the first two books to truly understand what is goig on.
The story is told from the point of view of three characters. It is refreshing to get this PoV, but the ramblings of the characters often distract from the story. It also took a lot of concentration to keep up with what was current story and what was a flashback.
The story trundles along a very winding path until about the last quarter, when things eventually get interesting. The plot twists felt as if they were throw in to lengthen the book and the resolution to the story wasn't very satisfying.
The world-building was good, but the many pop culture references within the story made me roll my eyes; but I am not target age, so that might be the reason.
If the second book had been a tiny bit longer, the third part would not have been necessary. I feel like this could have been a good duology rather than a weak end to a trilogy.
This series was an interesting read. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started, but by this time I got to this book I had really begun to enjoy it! Such a good ending!
***Please be aware this is the third book of the Unblemished Trilogy. I have done my best to keep this review spoiler free. Not an easy feat, let me tell you.***
Oh, be still my heart! What a rollercoaster this series is. I wonder if the author knew what the outcome was going to be when she started this series...Or did the characters surprise her just as much as they did me? Haha!
Eliyana Ember has grown so much. And in Unbreakable she has to face even bigger obstacles. Get ready for a whirlwind of events as you hold your breath with every turn of the page! As you travel from Reflection to Reflection with Ky, Joshua, El (or Em), and Ebony, you will lose yourself in the world that Sara Ella has created.
Even though my heart aches that this series has come to a close...I look forward to visiting these stories again soon. And...Sara's NEW book, Coral, will be releasing next year!
A fabulous creation of words, Unbreakable, is a must-read!
I received a complimentary copy of Unbreakable from the publishers as part of the publicity tour with JustRead. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.
A wonderful edition, I fell in love with the captivating characters and story line, but also with the amazing artwork on the covers. A well written, and easy to understand and follow, novel. By far a fave series of all time!!
Unbreakable was elegant chaos. It had beauty, heartache, and struggle. Ella was able to tie in the history of Unblemished and Unraveling in such a way that it all came flowing back to me as I read the end of the trilogy.
In Unbreakable, Eliyana Ember is the vessel of the Verity (the purest of souls), only she can destroy the Void. But to do so, will cost her everything she holds dear. The seven Reflections are now in danger, as are those dearest to her. She moves from one Reflection to another, seeking to destroy the Void. Both suitors — Kyaphus Rhyen and Joshua David, each with their own secret — have not given up on their pursuit of Eliyana’s heart. She is torn between memories leading her in one direction and her heart leading her in another.
Ella masterfully creates a realistic fantasy world, a story with a nod to pop culture and literary references. The inner dialogue of the main characters – Eliyana, Ebony, Joshua, and Ky — can confuse the reader if one doesn’t read the character name at the beginning of the chapter. The maps of the Reflections are a nice touch as well as the family tree!
While I liked the series and thought that the author did an excellent job with the worlds (quite unique!) I felt like the 2nd and 3rd book could of been edited to condense them or add more to the story. I felt like the story moved slowly, with all the different characters.

Unbreakable is the conclusion of the Unblemished series by Sara Ella and is much better than unraveling, the second book which I left a rather scathing review for.

We revisit El, Ky and Joshua in their adventures to defeat the darkness. The love triangle is going strong in this final tome and the conclusion to the triangle is rather satisfying.

I was not at all surprised at who the Fairy Queen turned out to be. El’s half sisters Ebony and Chloe become more complex characters and more integral to the story.

Books are characters that you hate, love or love to hate. This book has its fair share of the latter!

The story did have a bit of trouble getting started and I was afraid that it was going to be a let down much like the second book but it got going pretty good about half way through and then finished in spectacular fashion.

Unfortunately i forgot top write this reef view when I actually finished the book and though I remember enjoying the book I cannot give it the glowing review I had hoped. It was a fanciful and fun series and if that’s something you are into then by means give it a try.

I received a copy of this book from NetGally for fair and honest review
Though it may not seem like it, I enjoyed this third installment in the Unblemished series by Sara Ella. This series is a solid 3- Star likable series, but I wouldn’t list it in my top 50.
The things that I didn’t like was the overly scripted descriptions of scenery and the characters thoughts. I feel like these were just added for fluff and not for substance. The second thing I didn’t care for were the overtly dramatic plot twists with the same character and how they always seem to get by unscathed. The third thing that didn’t like was the POV changes. I didn’t like that we were constantly in someone else’s train of thought and this aspect actually took away from the overall storyline. Also, I cannot stand the love triangle trope so this book seems to check off all of my categories of books with undesirable traits!
The things that I did like was how everything did get wrapped up in the conclusion of the series and how the plotline message was delivered. Not everyone is entirely good or evil, it’s the choices we make that define us. The world building continued to be excellent and I liked that she added modern flare with references to things going on in our world today.
Overall the story wasn’t horrible, and I would recommend finishing this trilogy if you’ve started reading the other two books. If you can stomach the cheesiness and tropefest that this series is as a whole, then you will enjoy it. I would recommend this book to people who like character growth and modern-day culture references added to the storyline to make it more believable.
Thanks, Netgalley for allowing me access to read this story in exchange for an honest review all of the thoughts are my own and I have not been swayed by any outside party.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the final book in the Unblemished trilogy. I know I was hoping for some resolution after book two!
This one was a bit different from the previous two. The characters split up with Eliyana in a new reflection and two groups trying to find her. With both Ky and Josh going by two names, at times I was a bit confused but after a while, the different names connected with the ones I was used to.
Ebony gets a voice in this book, which were probably my favorite parts in this book. Her slightly sarcastic thoughts hide her inner doubts, hurts, and her good heart. A lot of this book is the inner dialogue of Eliyana, Ebony, Joshua, and Ky (almost too much at times)
Part fairy tale and part allegory, some truths are more apparent in this book than others, but there are many there (light and darkness in each of us, the heart knows love and sacrifice, and more). And while it takes a bit of meandering to get there (the excitement really starts about the three-quarter mark), the ending is both a bit of a surprise, yet a beautiful resolution for Eliyana.
