This was a quick and straight to the point read. I lived how the story went right for the good stuff without too much of the filler stuff. it's was just kinky enough, but not overwhelming. A great before "bedtime" read.

romance, complete with quirky sex on the mind seniors and a young couple the focus of their good intentions. Darcy and Mitch have felt a spark but it doesn't go any further until they run into each other at a kink club. What follows is an amusing take on Darcy trying very hard to embrace kink. If you are looking for a sexy kink book this is not the story, you will be dissapointed. If you love finding the humor in relationships this novella is for you.

Hanky-Spanky Christmas was a really speedy read, took me about an hour to devour Mitch and Darcy’s story. Well written, equal parts sexy to funny and fully enjoyable, Amy generally delivers for me, and this seasonal ‘quickie’ certainly didn’t disappoint.

Darcy gets her first taste of BDSM when she visits a voyeurism club where her neighbor, Mitch bartends at. She drunkenly asks Mitch to spank her that night but he refuses to take advantage and told her to ask him when she is sober. Imagine Mitch's surprise when Darcy shows up at his door the next day. Sober.

You're not gonna get a deeply connected love story with this because it's just too short, but it's great for just a touch of naughty in between longer books. These two live in an elderly apartment complex so it had a touch of humor to it with the old ladies comments. It's a short, fun and safe read with BDSM. ARC provided by NetGalley.

This is a short, sexy, and fun Christmas novella. The set-up is honestly so charming that I wish it was longer--it's about Mitch and Darcy, who are both 20-somethings who spend a lot of time at an apartment building for senior citizens. Think Melrose Place for the 70 and 80 year old set. Mitch is the handyman and Darcy lives there with her grandmother. They do a lot of eye-fucking and have shared a few kisses, but nothing much happens until the night Darcy goes to a voyeur's club and realizes Mitch is a bartender there.

Darcy gets all hot and bothered...and drunk...and asks Mitch to spank her. Like a gentleman, he demurs until she's sober. I honestly am not sure what to make of what happens next. They do some experimenting but Darcy realizes maybe she's just okay with watching.

I like a novella, but this is definitely the case where these characters and this set-up were to good, I wish there would have been more to it. I can't blame a novella for being a novella, but this wasn't completely satisfying as a romance. It has HEA potential, but it's brief. More like a teaser than a fully-formed story.

A fun, sexy, exploratory romance! Darcy spends most of her day tending to children at a daycare and on weekends, playing auntie for her sister's kids. A night out is a treat, and when the girls decide to check out a local sex club, she's all in. Imagine her surprise though, when she discovers that the bartender there is none other than her handyman neighbor Mitch! Some of what she sees in the club is sufficiently arousing enough to make her want to try it out with him, and he's game though he suspects that seeing and doing won't have the same effect for her. There are some sexy scenes, a bit of awkwardness, and some laughs as they find what kinks on the spectrum are the right match for Darcy. It's got a happy for now ending and is sure to heat up your holiday!
