Nice Twists in this story. Refreshing hero that seems too good to be true but even as his flaws surface you just want to cheer for Brooks and Leah. I'm glad she saw what even his own friends didn't see in him.
I am definitely going to go read the first story of this series! Can't wait to see who Ms. Archer matches up next!
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to review this.

The Billionaire's Unexpected Baby by Kira Archer is a well written and entertaining read.
I enjoyed the storyline, it held my interest all throughout the book and I ended up reading it in one sitting.
I found the characters likable and it warmed my heart watching them fall in love.
Overall, The Billionaire's Unexpected Baby is a sweet and romantic read and I highly recommend it.
I loved the characters in this book!!! You wanted them together from the start and the story line was interesting enough to keep me turning the pages quickly! I love when strong female leads aren't made to be over the top!! This lead definitely was a well written character and made you cheer for her throughout!!
The Billionaire's Unexpected Baby was a very frustrating book. The focus wasn't on Brooks and Leah's relationship. Honestly, I believe that Brooks had more heated moments with Leah's baby daddy than he had with Leah. He and Leah just share a house together and later a bed. There is zero communication and no romance. We have time jumps that didn't help with the book's case. I would have loved to read a scene when is just Brooks and Leah without having Marcus popping up.That guy was a douche to Brooks in the past and suddenly he is a man who wants to be actively involved in his child's life? I just don't buy that. There was already enough friction without him stealing an idea from Brooks. Basically, the book's plot was something like this. Brooks and Leah are about to have a nice moment that involves the baby, but Marcus shows up, reminds Brooks that he is not the father and Leah, of course, wants her baby daddy in the picture so she says nothing, which leads to Brooks feeling like an outsider. And that made me mad. Brooks was ALWAYS there for Leah and he was taking care of her. Leah, on the other hand, did nothing to make sure that Brooks had a place in her life that meant something more than her fake husband. The scene when the baby was born broke my heart. I wanted Leah to take the leap and make sure that Brooks knew that he meant something to her because if Brooks hadn't done something I am sure she would have expected to live with Brooks, the baby and Marcus in a house together until the baby turned 18. Leah gets the award of one of the worst heroines and this book a one-star rating because if I wanted a soap opera I would have turned on the tv (or just focused on my life). Honestly, I think the reason why Marcus was so active in his baby's life is that the author plans to write a book with him as the hero. He was so present in this one that there is no way the author doesn't have an idea of what his story is going to be. And I ain't plan on reading it. Leah and Marcus should have ended up together. I hated both of them and as I said Marcus appeared almost as much as Brooks, so he could easily have been the hero of this novel.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I found the story line to be interesting. It's a fast fun read. Leah and Brooks had good chemistry. I think most romance readers would enjoy this book.
Author Kira Archer and the marriage of convenience trope is a match made in heaven. So when I read the book blurb for The Billionaire's Unexpected Baby, I just had to request it. This is a terrific story and I read it from cover to cover in no time at all.
Leah Andrews is not a risk taker, so when she ends up pregnant from her one and only one night stand, she is quite surprised. She accepts her new situation happily, until she learns that in order to keep her new teaching assignment at a religious school, she cannot be unmarried and pregnant. She ends up meeting billionaire Brooks Larson through her friend's husband, and they share an immediate spark. He asks her to marry him so that she can keep her job. They slowly and unexpectedly fall into lust and love while they are anxiously awaiting for Leah's bundle of joy. Then all hell breaks loose when the baby's biological father decides to become a part of their lives.
Leah and Brooks are an entertaining couple and I was completely engrossed in their road to happiness. The ups and downs of their relationship were replete with emotion, humor, and heat. Unfortunately, the lightheartedness and the tone of the romance took a nose dive when the baby's father was introduced. If you enjoy stories with this trope, you will love this book!

I have read a couple of this author's novels so this one looked like a fun read especially according to the title. It is always fun to see where this type of story will go and how it will turn out. In this Leah needs some help with Brooks stepping up to the plate. Together they pull you into their story or dilemma seeing what is happening too. They will actually show how they do go together with us as witnesses. This author does so well in weaving this with trapping her reader into the chemistry and story that you get caught up in it from beginning to end.
Brooks Larson is renowned as a good time guy . . . . the life and soul of the party . . . not the one you’d go to if you were looking for someone to take responsibility - or that’s how he and many see him. Despite this outward appearance he proves to be more than willing to step up to support mum-to-be Leah Andrews. Leah is usually a rule follower, one who doesn’t take chances but the consequence her only one-night stand is the baby she’s now expecting. She has a new job she’s about to start at a convent school but when they discover she’s pregnant she’s not sure what will happen next. What happens is the billionaire app developer claims to be her husband to be! Now their friends are wondering if they’ll manage to stay together until the baby is born . . . .
This is another classic Kira Archer story - one filled with great characters, plenty of dilemmas, a healthy dose of turmoil and humour, all mixed together in a delectable read that’ll keep you smiling. It is a lovely, sweet, heartwarming romance that I have no hesitation in highly recommending to anyone who enjoys this genre.
I requested and received a copy of this novel, via NetGalley. This is my honest review after choosing to read it.
This was a wonderful read!
Leah is pregnant after a one night stand when she meets Brooks. When she is in danger of losing her new job at a Catholic school due to her unwed state, Brooks speaks up for her. The result is a temporary marriage.
I loved Brooks and his fun, carefree ways. It was obvious from the beginning that he wanted nothing but Leah even if he didn’t realize it himself or recognize that he was worth all the good things life has to offer. Leah was a sweet heroine that was also able to stand up for herself. She wanted her baby’s father to know about the pregnancy and set about to try to make that happen. Unfortunately, there is bad history between the two men in Leah’s life and they must now make a decision on what is best for the baby.
This is a fast paced read with plenty of humor, great characters and a touch of sexiness. I really enjoyed the first book of this series and enjoyed this one even more! Can’t wait for the next one!

I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between Brooks and Leah was well written. Arrogant playboy Brooks and Pregnant Leah met at there best friends baby christening, where they are baby Piper's godparents. He likes her and wants to help her by making up a white lie. That they are going to get married to the headmistress of the school she is going to teach at. You have to read to find out what happens. I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book from NetGalley.
I really loved this book. I have not read the first one that goes with this book (69 Million Things I Hate About You) but I didn't feel like I was missing anything at all.
This story is centered around Leah and Brooks. Their romance is not one anyone sees coming since it is not really meant to be. Leah is a straight shooter. She works for a private school and doesn't do anything "fun" as her friends say. So when she decides to have a one night stand for the first time, it is her luck that she becomes pregnant.
While at her friends baby christening she ends up throwing up over the godfather's boat. Brooks is there (it is his boat) and asks if she is okay, while they are having their conversation she tells him she is pregnant. Finding out that Leah could lose her job because of a mortality clause (being pregnant and not married) Brooks offers to marry her so that she can keep her job.
But when Brooks finds out who the father is of Leah's baby will things change for them? Will Brooks stick around and will the baby daddy mind sticking around?
This is a great story and I couldn't put it down. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

Lately, I’m a sucker for any romance book that has babies, secret or not. This book was just what I was looking for. It was enjoyable and I quickly read it in one sitting. When I first started reading, I wished that the book had been written in 1st person, as to connect with the characters on a deeper level. However, about halfway through, I quickly changed my mind. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it being written in the 3rd person.
Unfortunately, Leah, the heroine, was my least favorite character. I wanted to shake some sense into her at moments. She’s the typical good girl who got pregnant from her one, and only, one night stand. This doesn’t bode well for her after she gets a job at a private school. In walks Brooks, with his playboy background and an interesting proposal to save her job: a fake marriage. Can they keep it fake and leave their hearts out of the equation?
I wish the transition in between time advances in the plot had been a little bit smoother and with some more detail. At times it felt as if the author was trying to rush the story forward in order to cover a larger time span. While I liked seeing this large chunk of Leah and Brooks’ lives, I do wish she had given a bit more detail when it came to the jumps in the story. There were moments where I had to play a little bit of catch up on my own to realize time had passed and we had moved along in the story.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and look forward to checking out more of this author’s work in the future.
This was definitely a fun and light read. I thought this was just going to be one of those cheesy and predictable romances, but its not. Well, not really... I mean sure from the outset I knew it will have a happy ending because I live for those, its why I love to read and escape from reality...but yeah, I loved it.
The story wasn't overly unique, but it has its own uniqueness... Brooks was a party boy and Leah is his opposite... And what does a party boy want with an already pregnant bookworm?? hmm. That old saying about opposites attract may hold some truth in this story. Hasty decisions were made and situations felt overwhelming... felt like they've bitten more than they could chew... and to top it off, an old nemesis just wouldn't bug off, making a complicated situation even more complicated. Are you intrigued it yet??lol
This was actually my first time to read anything from Kira Archer and I must say that I enjoyed it. Yeah sure, there were times when I wanted to slap Brooks and yell at Leah but I reckon it ws necessary to the story and for their characters to be written that way...
I haven't read the first book in the series, and I'm going to rectify that real soon.
So of you're looking for a light read with a pregnant heroine and a cocky playboy, this is the book to read next!

I loved The Billionaire’s Unexpected Baby! This series is really rocking it for me, with romance, feels, laughs and serious amounts of steam plus some downright hot sexiness. If you’re into contemporary relationship-driven romance you should give them a look.
We met Brooks in the previous installment, 69 Million Things I Hate About You. He was the self-appointed class clown, party boy that took nothing serious. The fact that he couldn’t keep his mouth shut was not an issue until he landed himself in the biggest mess ever… Introducing himself as Leah’s future husband to help her keep her job.
Leah couldn’t deny the chemistry between Brooks and her, but their timing was definitely off since she was pregnant with another man’s baby when they met. When he proposes they get married, for a little while, so she can keep her job she can’t believe he’s serious but with no other options and a baby on the way, she reluctantly agrees.
Neither of them could ever imagine just how well they’d be at playing house, and soon all the pretending seems to be a thing of the past. Unfortunately, a baby is a sure way to get a dose of reality, and responsibilities are not always fun. Add to it an unwillingness to discuss their feelings, and the fact that Brooks and the baby daddy seem to hate the other’s guts with a passion, and shit eventually hits the fan.
I completely fell for Brooks. Yes, he was goofy and silly, had the sense of humor of a hormonal 12-year-old and the emotional maturity of a mango, but he was incredibly sweet, caring, and funny. The way he fell in love with Leah and her baby was totally heart-melting. I never quite understood where all his self-deprecating “No one takes me seriously so I won’t either” thing came from, but he seemed to make it a self-fulfilling prophecy
Leah was the exact opposite of Brooks. A high school teacher in a Catholic School, she was quiet and down to earth but could be sassy and funny too. I loved them together, and how they gradually became a family. I won’t say their lack of communication and downright avoidance of dealing with stuff didn’t drive me crazy, but they were so cute together it made up for it.
The Billionaire’s Unexpected Baby was perfect with the right mix of sweet romance, hot sextivities, funny banter and deep feelings. That we get to see the previous couple was a definite plus and I can’t wait to see who the next billionaire to fall will be.
After reading 69 Million Things I Hate About You, I was excited to read this story about Leah and Brooks. Leah is the girl you know as the ‘good girl’. She toes the line, reeks of responsibility and rarely does anything shocking. So imagine her surprise when she ends up pregnant after a totally out of character one night stand. Unable to contact her partner for a night, Leah accepts her friend Kiersten’s invitation to celebrate the christening of her first baby…on Brooks’ yacht.
And Brooks is…well yummy is the first word that comes to mind. Insecure, is the second. But being handsome and rich, he oozes confidence and only those who know him can see below the surface. But when he meets Leah he’s smitten, even though she’s pregnant, which right away gives him a few extra points in my book.
After an incredible kiss under the stars though, Leah hears no more from Brooks and though she’s sad, it doesn’t matter. Until the Catholic school where she teaches has a problem with a single mother-to-be. So that sets up our marriage of convenience plot nicely. And this is where The Billionaire's Unexpected Baby really gets going. Mostly.
Unlike the first book in this series, I didn’t connect to this one and I didn’t find it as fun. Kira Archer, of course, knows romance so it is still a good read but it was missing that something that made 69 Million Things such a pleasure to read. For instance, I never really understood why Brooks felt so unworthy. I mean it was a pretty big part of the plot but it never really explained it. I think that would have made the great guy Brooks turned out to be even more satisfying, but it didn’t take away from the plot.
There’s a twist, there’s heat and there is romance. This book has everything and it’s done beautifully so I can’t really complain, but the first book simply blew me away, hence the 3.75 star review.
Brooks greatest strength is being the life of the party. The goofball with the wicked sense of humor, a thirst for sexy women and a need to be the center of attention. It turns out Mr. Party Animal is full of surprises and the his biggest critic is himself. Kira Archer knows how to throw a party. Her talent for writing fiction that entertains is legendary. However, she is also good at pointing out the obvious in her characters and doling out some big surprises when it counts. Brooks and Leah were a surprise that counted. Who would have thought that good time Charlie would be such a great catch? The Billionaire's Unexpected Baby mixes realism, humor and heart with a maturity that turns the tale on it's head. The man who never met a responsibility he liked, may risk it all for a woman who prides herself on that very trait. Ms. Archer aims for the heart and she surely hits her mark.
Not sure where to start... a new author, a book that captivated from page one or characters I need more from. What I will say is this book left me needing to read more books from Kira Archer.
Brooks and Leah are perfect for each other, the chemistry is sizzling and what can I say about the banter apart from it had me laughing out loud.
This book has it all, it’s funny, it has a feel good factor about it and it has characters you will fall in love with, it drew me in from the first page and there was no putting it down til I had read the final line. I can’t wait to read more from this author and I hope there is more from the guys I met in this book. Great job great read.
I love surprise pregnancy and secret baby plots as well as playboy beta heroes so this sounded perfect. Although Leah, the heroine, isn't introduced in the first book, 69 Million Things I Hate About You, Brooks, the hero is shown in that book and I liked the glimpses I saw of him. He seemed like a fun, carefree kind of guy, not serious about anything. Also, the first book was very fun to read and I was hoping for the same kind of humor in this book. The set-up for the book was that Leah had accidentally gotten pregnant from a one-night stand, was about to start a new job at a Catholic high school and was justifiably worried about the ramifications of the pregnancy on her job. When Brooks steps in to help her out, they end up married and having a hard time resisting the sparks between them.
I liked the book, it was relatively light-hearted and an easy read. However, my problem with it was [that there was no real reason for why Brooks was so resistant to being a husband and father. He kept insisting throughout the book that he would be a terrible one, that Leah could not count on him, etc. yet this was never explained. I was expecting some kind of revelation about his reasons for acting the way he did, but there was nothing. He came from a loving, close family and had no terrible relationship drama in the past, so I have no idea what was going on in his head. It was like a great big plot hole that was never explained or resolved. (hide spoiler)] Because of that, I ended up just liking the book, but not loving it.
With this review, I will not rehash the storyline because you can read the description for yourself, nor will I reveal any spoilers.
This is the first book I have read by Kira Archer and I really enjoyed it. I honestly do not think that it is based on a believable scenario. With that said, I wanted to believe it. The author did an amazing job in keeping me interested. The storyline is straightforward and had wonderful characters. The H is lovable and funny bringing a good balance to the h, who had her feet firmly planted in reality. The story is woven well and made me root for the people in the baby's life. The resolution to their unique situation was brilliant and quite satisfying. It was well-edited, too. A good read with a wonderful HEA ending. A very clean read.
