This was a decent story and I somewhat enjoyed both the hero and the heroine, Clint and Jo. However, nothing really stood out making it a great book.

A quick read actually. This has Clint with an MC and now needs to hire a home care nurse for his grandmother. He actually spends more time with her and outside of the club. The nurse that gets hired is Jo and I don’t think she really is a nurse as much as a person who took to the grandmother and the grandmother liked her and needed help. Jo is a very good character all by herself and I really liked her. The rest of the story just follows along with other books like this and this one is good because of the characters of Jo and the grandmother. Overall a good book.

Okay story, Okay characters.

I found this to be much better than the first one but still without that little edge that makes you want to come back to the story again or to continue on with the series.

I found Clint to be completely lacking and was incredibly disappointed.
I saw Jo as a strong independent woman who had gone thorough alot to just completely lacking in many areas.

Nana was the best character and she didnt have a huge part.

All up an okay story there is no real MC life to the story just some guys who happen to be bikers. I wont be continuing on with this series.

A story that is not what I expected. This biker Clint is soft, likeable, loveable and carrying. His grandmother lives at his home and she hires the healthcare worker Jo to help her with the dialysis. Jos father was black and her mother white so she has been bullied a lot of her childhood because of her skincolour. Clint has also had his share of problems in his past but he tries to go on. I felt sometimes that both characters lacked depth and some chemistry between them.
It is a story worth the read and it is of a nice length.

Outlaw Ride by Sarah Hawthorne is book Three in the Demon Horde series. This is the story of Clint Remmick and Jo Smith. I have read the previous book but feel this is easily a standalone book.
Clint is a loyal member of the Demon Horde MC but when his grandmother health goes bad he moves in with her along with hiring Jo to help take care of her. Jo and Clint have an immediate attraction to each other but when things start to heat up between them but so does things with the Demon Horde club.
Exciting read!

This story started out with opening my eyes to something I didn't think we had to worry about any longer....racism. Yes I know that there are still some bigots but the way Jo held herself back because she wasn't sure how someone would take to her being black or even part black really took me by surprise. It can be because I live in a large city, that is considered a melting pot of all ethnic backgrounds or it can be that I just want to see the good in people, but regardless the reason I really hope for a time that everyone is able to be judged on their actions and not the color of their skin, the god they pray to, or even their social class. Until that time I will continue to live my life with rose colored glasses and see the good in people.

Now back to my review:
Outlaw Ride is a great addition to the Demon Horde series, this story not only adds dimension to the MC but it also shows the softer side of the men, well on in particular...Clint.

Clint is trying to make amends for the trouble he caused during his gambling addiction not only with his Brothers but also with his nana whom he owes so much to. His plans with the MC are simple he wants to prove himself and what better way to do that then to start up a new legal business for the MC to profit from, of course there will be one tiny bit of illegal activity going on but that will bring in even more money to the MC so all is good. As far as making amends with his nana, he takes her in so that she can be closer to the hospital where she needs to have her dialysis treatments done, which means finding a place for them to live and hire an in home health care provider.

Jo has never felt wanted in the world she was part black and part white so she didn't feel that she fit in with either group which I found extremely sad. But I have to say that I really appreciated the fact that when Jo had her hesitations about going somewhere with Clint that he took the time to address her fears and didn't push them off as inconsequential.

The attraction between Clint and Jo was instant and there really was no denying that but since Clint was Jo's boss she refused to get involved with him because of things went bad she would be out of a job and a home. So if you think they are going to fall into bed right away you are sooooo wrong, it took a lot for them to get to that point and even once they did there was some second guessing going on.

As you know there is always some angst in romance novels but the angst level here was really held to a minimum, the main focus was on Clint and Jo finding their way to one another and how to make it withstand all of the obstacles.

Outlaw Ride is the third book in the Demon Horde series but can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend reading the series in order though because you will want to know all the previous couples stories so when they pop up in this book you have a better knowledge of their background.

Who doesn't love a guy on a motorcycle? This is what came to my mind as I began reading. Clint is in a motorcycle gang with a body covered in tattoos. Jo is a nurse who he hired to take care of his willing grandmother. How can she live in the same house with this man? How can she keep her cool? This book had me not wanting to put it down. It was well-written and definitely could turn into a series. I will definitely look for more books by this author. Pick it up and read it for yourself!

As the third book in Sarah Hawthorne's Demon Horde series, I was pleased to begin reading and feel like I didn't have to go read books 1 and 2 to understand what was going on. This book can easily be read as a standalone romance. That's right, romance – it's the primary theme throughout the whole book. From the synopsis, I thought I might be getting some gritty biker action (which wouldn't have been a totally bad thing) but it primarily revolved around the romance between Clint and Jo.

The characters themselves were well-written, I loved Nana's character (she was really witty and enjoyable to read), and sure, I liked Clint and Jo but both had very intriguing pasts that I felt weren't very well-explored. We did find out most of their backstory, but it seemed very much like a surface exhibit of what could have been much better explored. I would have loved to have read more about Jo and how she grew up, rather than little hints here and there as if it were no big deal that her father wasn't a very honest man, and how she learnt all the things she did. The most we saw of her past was a description of how her and her sister were treated in school when they were children – I enjoyed that Jo was a diverse character and had to address racism during the book.

The storyline itself was enjoyable – I did like that not everything was thrown at you like an information dump, and the pace of the book was enjoyable (if the 2 hour sitting to read the whole thing is any indication) – and I feel I would have very much enjoyed seeing the characters from the first two books in this book (had I thought ahead to read the beginning of the series before this).

Overall, the story gripped me from the beginning. It is a great romance read that I can see myself reading the full series soon enough.

[this book is considered mature romance and contains adult themes]

I received this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Clint is a biker in the Demon Horde MC. Jo is hired to take care of his grandmother. They were an interesting couple. I liked that the story showed imperfections in people but they can work on them. I will be reading the other stories in this series.

I received a free copy of this book via Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really liked this MC read. Clint is a loyal member to the Demon Horde MC but when his Grandmother’s health takes a turn he moves in with her. He knows he can’t take care of her on his own so he hires a live-in nurse, Jo. Sparks fly but what will happen when danger isn’t far behind. Great chemistry between Clint and Jo. The story is fast-paced with plenty of drama and suspense. A good read.

I really loved this book. It had all the elements of a great story and it came together wonderfully.

Clint is a recovering gambler who did a lot of things he never thought he would, all in pursuit of a bet. Jo is a nursing student, working as an in-home health provider, slowly working her way through nursing school.

Both Jo and Clint have a lot of baggage and trust issues, but if they can get past all of that, it’s a love story for the books. Jo has seen a lot in her short life, her mom walked out on her, her sister, and dad. Her dad drank himself into an early grave, and now her twin is living her life as a drug user in Seattle's underbelly.

Clint had a slightly better childhood, but with a crappy father. His addiction to gambling really made him see how different his life has become from the one that he wanted. He loves being a member of the Demon Horde and riding with his friends, but he still struggles with being accepted.

I really wish we would have seen Clint going to meetings to deal with his gambling problems and talking with his nana to see him through the hard times.

I'm definitely a fan of this series and each book is better than the last! I will say that it's not your typical MC read, it's more focused on the romance side but it's great nonetheless!

Clint is a biker who lives and breathes his club 24/7, but when his grandmother becomes ill he packs up his life at the club house and buys a home so that his grandmother and her new live-in nurse have a place to stay. While balancing care for his grandma, he's also being given new responsibility at the club, then add in the crazy undeniable attraction he has for Jo, and things get interesting very quickly. Jo is a live-in nurse who can't seem to lock down a permanent position, she's a floater and when the opportunity to be a live-in for the sweet nana and her sexy grandson comes along, she snatches it up.

I absolutely love that Clint is not only a total badass biker but he's the world's sweetest man as well; he's there for his grandmother and for Jo and he's totally my new book crush! I'm also a fan that the MC guys were so keen on Jo helping out with one of their "runs." Usually in MC books it's all "keep the women out of it" and this was a refreshing change. Looking forward to more from the Demon Horde!

This book just didn’t do it for me. The characters were blah. I really didn’t feel any chemistry between them. Wet noodles! I admired Clint taking in his grandma, but he seemed to have no more depth then that. Jo had a hard life and you felt for her, but again I just didn’t have a connection to her. After what Clint does to her I thought her character didn’t follow along she just forgave and went on.

I really didn’t like the others in the series so I really don’t know why I read this one. The summary pulls you in but doesn’t live up to it.

Received an ARC from the publisher through NetGalley.

I really enjoyed this one! It isn't a typical rough and gritty MC read but it's still a great story. It's very well written and I just fell in love with these characters.

Clint Remmick owes everything to his club. They were there for him when he hit rock bottom with his gambling addiction but he's kicked that now and shows his appreciation to the club with his loyalty. Right now though he needs to focus on his grandmother. With her health failing he moves her in with him and hires a private nurse to care for her. Jo is kind and sweet. Not the type of woman Clint goes for but the sparks between them are fierce. It's not long before danger enters their life and Clint vows to keep Jo safe. Truth is Jo needs to come to his rescue too.

Don't miss this one. I think you'll really enjoy it too.

I liked the hero for a good part of the book, but that changed quickly. It's irritating when someone pursues someone and when they finally get together, runs and backs away. Two people more indecisive than these two. This was just alright for me. I didn't like his excuse of why he did what he did and I didn't feel he redeemed himself. He was let off too easily. He was good with her at first, she was the pain. I didn't connect to this story.

Very different take on the happenings of a MC club. Clint not only lives for his club but also his family. In this case, it’s his grandma who needs to live close to a hospital for her dialysis. Since Clint already owns a garage, he and his grandma need to hire a HHA to help out. They decide to hire Jo (who is biracial) as a live-in aide. Despite his outward appearance, the reader finds Clint a sweet, lovable guy. Jo has had her share of knockdowns and fits right in her new role. Clint and Jo have theirs downs and upsets in jockeying around their relationship, or lack thereof. Really good depiction of a MC Club. Not as violent a story as others I’ve read and therefore will appeal to more readers.

Really enjoyed this. First time reading from the author and can't wait to read more. Loved the diverse female POV.

Enjoyable MC romance between Clint and the woman who takes care of his Nana, Jo. There aren't a lot of MC details or action but the romance is sweet and hot.
