Stumbling Into Love is the second book in the Fluke My Life series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. Not only do I love ARR, but I absolutely love this series and world she has created! I couldn't wait to read this one after I read Running Into Love, and Stumbling Into Love definitely didn't disappoint. I highly recommend this series and I think readers will love these books just as much as I do. Each book is connected, but you can read them as standalones.

This is Mackenzie and Wesley's story. Mackenzie has been after her friend who just sees her as one of the guys, until she gets dressed up and meets a handsome man at a bar one night and decides to spend a night being anything but herself. Wesley wants to know more about Mackenzie after one night together, but she runs at every turn and he finds himself unable to forget her even though he should move on. So when they soon realize that they have a connection neither one expected, Wesley becomes more determined than ever to win her over and unravel the mystery that she is.

I loved these two! From the very first moment they met, I knew they were perfect for one another and I couldn't get enough of them. I found them easy to relate to and root for, and I was invested in their story from the very start. Mackenzie was a heroine that I adored and felt close to, she felt so real and genuine. Wesley was sweet and persistent and I loved him for never giving up on Mackenzie when he definitely had reason to at times. They were sweet and sexy, and meant for each other.

Overall, I enjoyed this book so much and I definitely recommend this series to readers, especially if you love contemporary romance. Aurora Rose Reynolds has a way of writing interesting characters that you can relate to and can't get enough of, and that is definitely true for this series. I can't wait for more from her and I am already anxious for whatever she writes next.

Stumbling Into Love is the second title in the Fluke My Life series, but it can easily be read as a standalone.

If you are looking for a feel good read, that is well written, flows well, and is sweet, this is the title for you.

Wesley is the hero of Stumbling Into Love, he's the type of alpha I've come to expect from Aurora Rose Reynolds, possessive, sexy and boy can he talk dirty. He's a police officer, and a bit of a mystery man. I found him quite endearing, and liked that he showed patience and was genuinely a good guy.

Mac is a lovely heroine, comfortable in her own skin, she's sweet, sexy, sassy and overall a really like-able character. She's been burned in the past, and is a tad apprehensive in trusting her own feelings, and doesn't like feeling vulnerable. Mac has a great relationship with her sisters, her mother is kind of quirky and a tad nutty, and her antics leave you laughing out loud.

The chemistry between this pair is undeniable and intense. Their attraction is mutual and immediate. I really enjoyed the dual point of view and the banter is fun and flirty, and between the three sisters is fun, and entertaining.

I will be eagerly awaiting the final title in the series, as I've become quite captivated with the Reed sisters.

I like this author, have for a while now, and even though I did enjoy this story I was waiting for more. I don't know if it was because I had read the reviews and was waiting for more, I kept reading how it was really funny and I didn't find that, I actually did not find a lot of the stuff I read in the reviews and I think that that was my mistake I put it on a level that it wasn't. Now please do not get me wrong and think that I did not like that is totally not the case, it's just that I didn't find it funny however it was entertaining. So I am still asking you to give the book a try and make up your own conclusion. Enjoy!

I have a love/hate relationship with Aurora Rose Reynolds’ books in that some I really love, and others I hate. Okay, hate is a strong word. I've never actually hated one of her books. But it seems like I either really like the book, or really don’t. And I had such high hopes for this story, but it totally fell flat for me.

AAR is a queen at insta-love and alpha male stories. I know that and read her books despite the fact that the actions her heroes take usually make me want to roll my eyes. I just check my reality expectations at the front cover and dive on in anyway.

But I actually had fairly high expectations for this book because the previous one in this series (Running Into Love) was fun and cute and - to my surprise - I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, Stumbling Into Love was just blah and contrived. It was basically the opposite of everything I loved about Running Into Love - the humor was slapstick and ridiculous, Mac’s family’s intrusiveness wasn’t funny or charming, and even the angst wasn’t that angsty. And other than the back and forth - are we together, are we not together - nothing really happened in this book. There was a chance to give the hero some depth with the situation from his past, but even that was glossed over.

I’m not sure how this book could be so different from the first book in the series, especially since so many of the characters are the same, but it was. It’s not that there was anything particularly wrong with this book, but since I was looking forward to it, what I read fell far short of my expectations.

Mackenzie "Mac" Reed is the oldest of the Reed sisters (Fawn from Running Into Love and Libby, the youngest sister). She's the tomboy of the family who has been crushing on her friend Edward for the past two years. Realizing that she and Edward aren't ever going to be an item, she is taking a chance on dating again. Out at a bar being stood up, she's approached by a very sexy man and decides she needs to go against her nature and spend the night with this guy.

The next day, when she sneaks out of his place, Mac is surprised to find him running after her. Realizing she's left her phone at his place, she thinks this must be why he came after her. But soon she will find out that she's got closer ties to Wesley Jameson than she ever knew... and those ties will keep growing in unintended and unexpected ways.

I really enjoyed Mac and Wes' story. They were so cute and sweet. He knew the moment he saw her that she was different and I loved that she was the type of girl who didn't wear make-up and fancy clothes, but still was stunning in a fresh way. When she did dress up, brought him to his knees.

This series is very sweet to me. I love that these sisters are a little crazy, yet extremely tight. They have each others backs no matter what. I love how crazy and funny their mother is.

I'm so looking forward to Libby's story. I can only assume it's with Antonio, the firefighter to whom she bought the pizza parlor from his parents. I loved that Libby was storing her money away, enough that she could buy the place and no one knew.

Yay for another sweet and funny story from one of my favorite authors.

I read Running into Love, the first installment of this ARR series, and while it didn’t completely blow me away, I found it entertaining and full of engaging side characters so I wanted to keep up with it.

Stumbling Into Love, to me, was much better than its’ predecessor but still didn’t manage to completely rock my world. Here, we get the story of Mac and Wesley (respectively Fawn’s sister and Levi’s partner, the couple from the previous book). A serendipitous encounter at a bar leads to the best night either of them has ever had.

Wesley, totally smitten, is ready to go all in as he’s found in Mac the girl he wants… Unfortunately for him, after a long time pining after an unrequited love, Mac is nowhere near wanting to think about the L word, no matter how many sparks they shared, which means she bails as soon as she wakes up the morning after.

A bit of a comedy of errors, Stumbling Into Love is filled with mishaps and funny misunderstandings, and the story timeline runs parallel to Fawn and Levi’s story.

Again, I enjoyed Wesley’s character more than Mac’s. He’s a bossy, protective sexy cop, and while he has some issues to resolve, he’s committed to pursuing Mac. As with Fawn, I felt that Mac was knowingly obtuse in more than one instance, which eventually just got on my nerves. Surprisingly, I still liked her and her quirky ways. I wish they’d spent more time being an actual couple instead of the back and forth cycle Wesley and Mac fell in for most of the story.

Even though I can’t say this was my favorite book by this author, I still got the humor, fun banter, sweet romance and sexiness I’ve come to expect from her stories. This made it an enjoyable enough experience that I want to see what will happen to the remaining single sister.

I really enjoyed this second book in ARR's new series. it was a little predictable, but overall very enjoyable. I love how all her characters just seem to "know" the person is the one they want to spend the rest of their life with.

Another insta love alpha male meets naive heroine... this author has a type and all of her books are the same story... silly me that I thought it was different

When Mac ends up going home with Wesley after being stood up for a date, she never imagined that she would see her first ever one night stand ever again. However, Wesley has other ideas, he can’t get Mac out of his mind and he’s determined to make her his.

Sometimes you just want a nice, straightforward modern day fairy tale of a romance and that’s exactly what Aurora Rose Reynolds has given us with Stumbling into Love the second book in her Fluke my Life series. It was a fast read, sped along with the insta-connection between Wesley and Mac.

Reynolds is great at writing possessive alpha heroes and this is exactly what we get with Wesley. He falls for Mac and isn’t shy about showing her and pursuing her. Mac is a little skittish after a recent bad experience that has knocked her confidence, but Wesley perseveres. It was adorable and the chemistry between them was palpable.

This was a great quick read, funny, sexy and sweet, perfect for some easy reading.

My first 5 star review of 2018!!! I loved this story soooo much. I wasn't sure if Aurora Rose Reynolds could top book 1 of this series (which was also a 5 star read for me) but she did and it made me so happy.

This couple has a rough start to their relationship and have several chance meetings afterwards (which also run concurrently to book 1) forcing them back together and making them re-evaluate whether they should try to make something of this rather than just leave it at a 1 night stand... is the universe trying to tell them something??? I loved the struggle - it wasn't too angsty but felt real and I loved that they both worked to make something of their great connection. It wasn't without pitfalls and some surprises (which I LOVED) but they made it work in the end.

I still don't think I have expressed properly how good this story was - I struggled to write a review because I just didn't have the words but take my word for it and dive in please!

Cannot wait for more in this series!!!! Soon, please!

4 Alphalicious Stars!

No one writes swoon-worthy Alpha Males that make your heart flutter wildly in your chest quite like Aurora Rose Reynolds, and when said Alpha is a smoking hot, fiercely devoted NYC cop, I am in seventh heaven!!! Can you say BRING ON THE HANDCUFFS? Hee hee!!

THE STORY:
STUMBLING INTO LOVE, book 2 in ARR’s Fluke My Life trilogy, features elder sister Mackenzie Reed, and let me say what a BLAST it was to catch up with her whole CRAY-CRAY clan!! But when the book opens, poor Mackenzie, a massage therapist, is not having a good night. She has been unlucky in love but after a long dry spell she’s finally going on her first date in ages. But to her utter humiliation she has been stood up! EEK!

Before she hightails it out of the crowded bar to have a pity party for one, she stumbles on her high heels straight into Wesley Jameson’s rock hard chest!! She's mortified but the dashing police detective good naturedly blows it off and they end up sharing cocktails and flirty conversation. One thing leads to another and before they know it they are hopping a cab, heading back to his place for a night of no strings attached sex!

Mackenzie doesn’t know what came over her—she doesn’t DO one night stands. So the next morning she sneaks out of his apartment while Wes’s still sleeping, thinking she will never see her hot, study lawman again. But yikes she left her phone behind! When she returns to "the scene of the crime” to retrieve it, Wes reams her out for bailing, which roused her own temper and their lovers spat culminates in another round of mind-bending hot lovemaking before she runs off— again! But anyone who has read ARR know that once her Alphas fall, they fall HARD, and this true blue detective is playing for keeps! So the chase is on with Wes bound and determined to pull out all the stops to get the gun-shy girl of his dreams to stop running long enough to explore the sizzling hot attraction that's blazing between them !

MY THOUGHTS:
This addictively sexy, insta-love tale was chock full of so much DELISH! It was sweet, steamy, funny and romantic, with FEELS GALORE, and I just savored every single moment! I was captivated from page one, got butterflies in my belly and was swooning and shivering in delight throughout! The chemistry between Wes and Mac was sizzling hot, with a plethora of push- pull tension and quick witted banter to keep us enthralled!

The development of the romance was perfectly paced! Although Mac admittedly tried my patience at times with her constantly running away because she was afraid Wes would not appreciate the "real" her, I just loooved how 100 percent committed he was to getting his girl! He’s so dominantly sexy, gentle and caring, and CRAZY POSSESSIVE…the quintessential ARR hero! And of course once the pretty tomboy stops running long enough to appreciate her six-foot-two, strappingly handsome pursuer in all his IRRESISTIBLE ALPHA GLORY, she was a goner!

Although this romance is relatively low-angst, Wes and Mac have some definite obstacles to overcome on the road to HEA, including Wes’s deeply embedded battle scars that he sustained in the line of duty, which adds compelling emotional layers to their union. But together they find sweet serenity and soul deep healing!

BOTTOM LINE:
Ultimately, STUMBLING INTO LOVE is a gloriously sexy, FEEL-GOOD read that just hit the mark and left me in a state of sweet euphoria! Now I shall wait with bated breath for the final Fluke My Life installment when we get Libby's book!

Another fantastic book by this author. I absolutely loved every minute of this book. It had me totally engrossed the whole way through this story/book. The author has out done herself with this book and it’s now my favourite by her so far. It has everything I love to read in my books which is why she has me coming back for more each time I see one of her books. This one has such a great story to get into and fabulous characters that I really liked from the start and enjoyed the whole way through the book. Such perfect romance between them too. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone

Yes! Now that's an authentic ARR hero! 💞 💕
Wesley had that possessive, jealous yet sexy ott alpha personality that this author perfects. Even when what he's saying seems like "omg no he didn't.!" you still want to swoon and sigh happily in alpha heaven.

Then smack him. But no really I loved this installment. Mackenzie kinda took that hard to get to another level but Wesley balanced it out just right. I loved all the family characters. I hated with every cell Edward and Bonnie though. Call me judgemental I don't give a crap but they were evil and gross and I kinda wish several sexual diseases on them both. I really wanted Mackenzie to say adios forever. I mean gross, yuck, ok sorry rant over.
Such an amazing romantic epilogue too.

My safety peeps will love this one.! 💞

Stumbling Into Love was a nice read. This series follows three sisters and it was Mac’s turn. Mac and Wesley’s chemistry was potent. They couldn’t deny it no matter how much Mac tried. The back and forth between the two was intriguing and I liked how Wesley never really stopped chasing. When these two were on, it was great. The love was over-the-top and they were cute together. I liked seeing the progression of the relationship and where it would go. Wesley was the typical ARR male--alpha, possessive, and loving. And Mac was an amusing heroine. The families were a great supplement and made the book that much more enjoyable. There were some definite funny moments. Overall, this was a pleasant read. I am really interested in what the youngest sister has going on. I can’t wait to read her story.

I loved this book and found it hard to put down.
After seeing glimpses of these two in the first book I was anxious to get to Mac and Wesley's story.
The characters were a perfect blend of sweet and sexy. I loved reading how these two built trust through their love and understanding.
The drama and the storyline was realistic. I appreciated that the author didn't give the reader more drama and angst then necessary.

We're also given a glimpse into the next book which I'm looking forward to reading.

I received an ARC for a honest review.
