Sweet love story between a woman, Rachel, and her boss, Jason. She doesn't find out he's her boss right away causing her to be more forward than she would be. When she does find out it's too late. Jason is crazy about her and he's pretty hard to resist. Cute

So excited for the next in this series! These Fairchild men are sexy, exciting and fall hard for the amazing women in this series. Rachel Price is smart, sexy and on fire in her new position in marketing. She has a chance encounter with a gorgeous stranger with whom she has instant and amazing chemistry. Well of course she finds out later it's her boss- actually the owner. Jason Fairchild hasn't had or made time to do anything other than work. When he meets Rachel Price he is instantly charmed. She is sweet, sexy and taking on a great responsibility in raising her best friend's son.

Navigating their infactuation, being boss/employee and taking on the responsibilites of a teen with whom a family feud is on the rising makes for a interesting and entertaining story. Oh, and the chemistry is off the charts. I love this series and Rachel and Jason's story is a great addition.

Bybee gives us Rachel and Jason's story in Not Quite Crazy. This is another solid outing for her and her fans will be very happy. The story is not the typical formulaic CEO meets woman story. Rachel is a strong, independent woman who takes on guardianship of her best friend's child after her death and uproots her life for him. In one of the better meet cutes I have read in a while, she meets Jason and the story builds from there. Jason, of course is overcoming his own issues at the same time. They are one couple that I rooted for and was very happy to see that all of the loose ends came to very satisfying conclusions.

Having read all of the books in this series, I'm sad to see this series end! Each book featuring the Fairchild brothers can be read on their own. However, the books are so much better read in order as each wife joins in the matchmaking pursuits of the remaining Fairchild siblings. Jason might be the oldest of the Fairchild siblings but he is the last one to fall in love. However, once he sees Rachel he knows she is the one. Rachel is enjoying flirting with Jason until she discovers he is actually her new boss. But sometimes even the threat of losing your job just isn't quite enough to squelch the attraction.
Filled with great characters, Catherine Bybee has once again written a great story to go along with a great romance. You simply cannot go wrong when you pick up one of her books.

Another very pleasant add to the series. Sad it would be the last one.
At this time of the year, Christmas just gone and New Year’s eve coming it’s the perfect story to read for me.
Only 4 stars because there wasn’t enough of Jason and Rachel in the book but the plot and the suspense were good.
And it’s nice to get a glimpse of all the Fairchild brothers for a last trip.t

I loved the give and take between Jason and Rachel. Both strong people who clearly belonged together.
A very engrossing story line. Kept my attention beginning to end. The friendship she had with Emily was beautiful. Her dedication to her son was heartwarming. Her fight for him,the same. Well written with just enough drama. This has been a terrific series and Not Quite Crazy fits right in.

Going to be honest here......This is my first book I've read in the Not Quite series.....There I said it. Yes it's book 6. But after reading this you can read it on its own. Yes I will be going back through and reading this series as a whole. Not Quite Crazy is a fantastic read. I love how Catherine Bybee just brought the characters alive. They seem so real. Owen was a delight. I always love when kids are added into books and even with him being a teenager he oozed spunk. His relationship with Rachel is amazing. It takes a loving and caring person to step up when needed. Rachel does that and then some. They have such a connection you can't help but to love them. Now when it comes to Jason I admit that I did swoon for him some. I love that he wasn't too cocky and full of himself like you would find in other billionaire books. He is down to earth, accepting and acts like a regular guy. There is no denying the chemistry between him and Rachel either. They're sweet with just the right amount of sizzle. I couldn't put this one down. Oh another honest moment....This is my first book by Catherine Bybee too. I can't wait to dig into more. So if you love a book full of family and little drama all mixed in with falling for your boss then this book needs to be read.

For the final chapter in the NOT QUITE series, Bybee has taken us to Connecticut and NY by way of California.
When Rachel Price becomes the guardian to her best friend’s teenaged son after his mother’s death, to keep the peace with the boy’s paternal grandparents, she relocates to NY and a new job.
One snowy night traveling home, a car goes off the road and Rachel stops to help the driver. Sparks ignite between the two immediately. After a series of flirty encounters Rachel discovers her handsome stranger is really her new boss. In Rachel’s mind pleasure and work never mix.
Or do they…
With her emotions mounting for a man she shouldn’t be involved with and her ward Owen refusing to see his grandparents, it’s just a matter of time before everything implodes and Rachel’s job and reputation is laid bare.
A plane crash, a custodial court battle, and a runaway teen all add to heighten the stakes between Rachel and Jason Fairchild’s relationship.
4 stars for this fine ending to a good series for ByBee.
I was given an arc from Netgalley for an honest opinion of this book.

Rachel, relocated from Los Angeles to New York with the teenager she is guardian for, and Jason, oldest of the Fairchild brothers and CEO of the company, are a great couple with great chemistry. Add in her hesitance to get involved once she discovers he's her boss, his refusal to take no for an answer, and legal problems around her guardianship, and I found a story I couldn't put down. I am sad that this is the end of the series.

I received a complimentary arc from Netgallery for review.

This is my first book by this author and I think it is #6 in a series. I have never read this author and have not read any other books and I did not feel lost at all. This book easily stands alone, however if you have read the previous books, the other Fairchild brothers are featured throughout the book.

This is a story about Rachel, a new single parent in CT who is from California and has relocated so her foster son can be near his grandparents and get to know them after her best friend passes away from Cancer. The story starts as she is driving home fro NYC in a now storm and she runs into Jason who is in a ditch.

She takes him home with her as he waits for a tow and thats how the two meet. I beyond LOVED Jason and Rachel. They are both amazing characters and you can see them falling hard for the other. This story is filled with wonderful characters I loved getting to know.

The biggest issue for Rachel and Jason is that he is ceo of the company they work at and she tries hard to resist him for that reason. However they form the cutest relationship and I LOVED their text messages and their entire relationship.

I don't want to say anything else because I don't want to spoil too much of the plot points but I LOVED how Jason and his family take Rachel under their wings and have her back throughout the story. I loved this book so much I am going to read the other stories in the series.

I normally love the boss/employee trope but somehow this story never grabbed me at all. Instead of the romance it has a big chunk of custody stuff which I did not care about. I have read some good books by this author but this storyline was not my cup of tea.

Welcome to New York, honey. It's nice that your boss actually wants to cover your transportation costs.

Poor Trent.

Oh, he's got moves.

That was funny, Owen.

Haha, Mary Frances sounds cool!

She sleeps with her boss on the first date, goes on vacation with him, but doesn't want to ride into work together?

What the hell?

She should really check her mail.

Good judge. Suck it, hag!

I love the ending.

I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
