Sharing His Bride is a sexy, Dirty Menage Romance and I couldn't get enough. These micro romances are hot and just what you need if you want to read it quickly.
A Must read for all readers.
So... Sharing His Bride is quick and dirty - just what the Dirty Bits imprint promises. It wasn't quite what I was expecting but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Mollie (the female lead) suffers from a lack of sexual self-esteem due to lack of experience (especially in comparison to that of her fiancé) and some pre-emptive slut shaming from her mom. Declan (the male lead) was my favorite though - he was willing to go A LONG WAY to make sure his woman was happy and fulfilled. A lot of the plot is perpetuated from a lack of communication (and eavesdropping) but the story moved along quite quickly and was sufficiently hot. 3 out of 5 wine glasses.
A little eavesdropping and a misunderstanding take Declan Gerraghty and Mollie Dewar on a journey of new experiences and realizations. With the help of James Mallory, an escort hired by Declan, the three set out to fulfill a fantasy. But who’s fantasy is the question.
Sharing His Bride by Faye Avalon is a quick and short romantic read. While I enjoyed the story, it wasn’t what I expected. I knew this was a MFM storyline, but I didn’t find the action as steamy or as hot as I thought it would or should have been. Declan and Mollie were good characters who didn’t seem to need a backstory. James on the other hand needed more of a story. I assume that he’s supposed to be a mystery, but there’s something about him that seems to crave more.
"Sharing His Bride" is a very short erotica with a couple of extended intimate scenes and just a tiny bit of context. Declan overhears his fiance, Mollie, drunkenly talking about her lack of sexual experience (she wishes she had more experience so she could please him better). She likes vanilla sex, but then again, Declan is the only person she has been with intimately. After overhearing her drunken comments, he decides to take matters into his own hands without asking her/talking to her about it and hire a male escort for a threesome. He then surprises her with it one night.
Although there was barely a plot, I found it a bit chauvinistic and male-centered. I would have liked to have seen more of it driven by Mollie and her wants/desires. As for the intimate scenes, they were pretty awkward with some unusual phrases that made me laugh out loud (e.g. buttock flesh)- and I wondered if this was intentional. Overall, I didn't particularly care for this novella for the reasons mentioned above, but I am adding a star because it did make me laugh a couple of times.
Please note that I received an ARC from the publisher through netgalley. All opinions are my own.
