I"m sorry to say this book wasn't for me and I DNF'd at 50%. I couldn't get into the characters and never got their connection. I just never got pulled into the story and decided to move on.

I really enjoyed reading Don't Go, loved the flashbacks and the POV of both man characters. The only thing I didnt like was it was too short, I wanted so much more of these characters. I really loved their connection and how they just knew there was no one else for them. This is the first book Ive read by Alexa Riley, and I cant wait to see what else they have in store.

Henry has only wanted Kory since the first time he saw her so when he finally convinced her to go out with him it ends in a huge misunderstanding that breaks both of their hearts for ten years.
Henry just found out that Kory has moved back in town with her mother and he is determined she is going to hear him out no matter what.
This story was so romantic imagine someone pining for you for ten years , you just keep hoping for a happy ending for these two.

Kory Summers returns to NY after ten years. She left because she was heart broken and scarred from one date with Henry.
Meanwhile in NY Henry never forgot Kory and even bought the apartment complex her mom lived in to make sure she would always be able to stay there.
When he realizes she is back he does everything he can to win her back.

If I didn't have such a problem with them living with so much hated from a date at the prom, which was their first date, I probably would have given this a higher rating. That just wore on me and how he only knew he was back in NY because his cousin kept tabs on where she was. That to me is stalkerish.

Not my favorite in the series, but it was ok. I enjoyed the back and forth timeline method of storytelling. Henry and Kory's story is intense in the way that only Alexa Riley can accomplish, with all the instalove and drama that I've come to expect. Actually, Don't Go is a bit more intense than I expected but I enjoyed that. Alexa Riley will always be my go to when I need super steamy, quick, satisfying reads. 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

When Henry Osbourne finally gets up the nerve to ask out Kory Summers, he's intent on making her his, in his sweet way. Kory may not be up to Henry's social status, but Henry doesn't care. There's something about Kory that draws him to her, and he means to get to know her. Unfortunately, his plans are thwarted, thanks to the requisite high school mean girl, and Kory runs and doesn't return. Henry spends the the next decade pining over the girl who got away and took his heart with him. He's now running Osbourne, he's successful and has everything he could possibly want, with the exception of his heart, his Kory.

Kory's back in New York and close to Henry, the boy who broke her heart in high school. When she sees him again, her heart is in her throat. But when he lays a hot kiss on her, suddenly all her anger and hurt seems to disappear and she's swept up into Henry's orbit. Will Henry get his chance to explain himself? Will their insta-love get a chance to evolve into true love? This is an AR story, so you know how it will go. But the getting there is fun and sweet and sexy, trademark AR.

It's a novella, so don't be expecting a well-rounded, character development, relationship development heavy romance. But do be expecting sweet, sexy insta-love with a virgin hero and a smart, independent heroine. All the good stuff expected from an AR story.

Don't Go was a great addition to the series and was an enjoyable story. I really enjoyed the storyline of this story and I really loved the characters in this story. Alexa Riley did a great job with this story. I cannot wait to read more form this author.

This was a short, sexy, second chance romance that Alexa Riley specializes in writing. I am a fan of her stories and they provide a quick escape reads that are hot and always have a happily ever after. Alexa Riley writes over-the-top fantasy full of tropes and situations that are pure fantasy driven. They aren't realistic at all and that is part of the fun! Another steamy quickie that I recommend for Alexa Riley fans.

I started this one and was unable to finish. This was not an Alexa Riley book that I could get into at all. That kills me to even say that…

However I will remain a fan for sure!

* Because of my inability to finish this book, I will not be leaving a review on social media sites or Amazon. That would be unfair to the authors.

I've been trying to figure out what to call this one. A second chance Insta-love? An Insta-love second chance?? If you figure it out, tell me.

Henry fell for Kory as soon as he saw her. She kept to herself, was a scholarship recipient to his ritzy private school but she held his attention like no other girl or woman had. He finally asked her to prom and surprisingly, she accepted.

Fast forward 10 years where Kory is moving back home and Henry finds her. And that's it. He's not losing her a second time when she's the only woman he's ever and will ever love.

Another great insta-love from these awesome ladies!!

Don't Go is book three in Alexa Riley's For You series and it delivers quite a story in such a small book. This was a quick, sexy read with insta-love and a second chance.

The story is told in pieces of the past as well as the present - which is a really unique way to show the growing relationship between these two characters.

Kory and Henry's story will pull you in and have you rooting for them. You'll be sucked in by the details of how they met and everything that followed leading up to the present when they find themselves back in each other's world.

I really loved how Henry's own parents colored his view of love and relationships - how he knew deep down that Kory was his one and never changed his opinion of that.

Don't Go is great for readers who want to finish a steamy read in one sitting, and those who love Alexa Riley's insta-love.

Henry Osbourne has known since he was eighteen years old that there was only one woman for him. He lost his chance with her, however, when out of control events on prom night led her to a wrong conclusion and ruined their chance at happiness.

For ten years, Henry has built his business empire, but has been unable to let go of the woman who got away. His infatuation borders on obsession and no woman has ever been able to replace Kory Summers in his thoughts or heart.

Kory Summers left New York and never looked back after her heart was broken on prom night. She’s never been able to forget Henry either, even if he is the man who broke her heart all those years ago. When an incident causes her to accept a new job in NYC, she knew there was the possibility of running into her old flame. She didn’t expect him to be waiting for her outside her childhood home and wanting to pick up where they left off ten years ago.

Can Henry convince Kory it was all a misunderstanding so they can both find their happy ever after, or will they be left living in the past and stuck wanting the person they can’t have for the rest of their lives?

Don’t Go was a very sweet and fun insta-love romance. Henry really is a good guy and tries everything he can think of to let Kory know what she thinks she saw on prom night wasn’t what actually happened. While he can’t let it go, however, he still has her best interests at heart by giving her what he thinks she wants, which is time and space.

Kory can’t move on either. No matter how successful she has come professionally, she’s left relationships back in highschool. She knows what she wants, she just can’t have him . . . she is not willing to put herself through the wringer again.

This couple really is perfect for one another, and once they finally clear up what actually happened all those years ago, they are free to move forward and seek out a bright and beautiful future together. Don’t Go was a feel-good read with a satisfying story. 4 stars

Henry Osbourne, yes, one of those Osbournes, is rich, powerful, and used to getting what he wants—except when it comes to women. Kory, his one-and-only, left him years ago and he’s hardened his heart against further romantic entanglements. But then she returns and he vows there is nothing that will stand in the way of them being together.

Kory has never gotten over Henry and even after a decade she isn’t ready to face him again, so to protect herself she uses her job as an excuse to stay away. What’s a guy to do? Buy the company that is taking up so much of her time so he can give her a vacation. What can we say, all’s fair in love and war, especially when you’re a billionaire!

Henry has shied away from love his whole life has he has witness his parents all cosuming love his whole life. At his high school he keeps coming back to Kory a girl who is a mystery to everyone. One prom night will set the path for Kory and Henry life. He finally finds her ten years later and the love is still there.

Great fast read done in the Alexa Riley insta love style. Plus got to catch up on the kids of past couples.

I'm struggling with this review a bit because I liked this one but I didn't connect with it nearly as much as some other reviewers. I liked the story overall and the characters but the story arc felt very rushed and there were issues with the pacing for me. I haven't read the earlier novels in this series and I felt like perhaps I was missing something by coming in at book 3. Apparently, the hero in this book is the child of the hero/heroine from an earlier book ... which may explain some of what the disconnect was for me. I'm not sure but that was how I felt as I finished. There was an abruptness to the storyline and how things wrap up. And so I didn't love this one quite as much as I'd hoped ... but, after reading reviews by others, I'm wondering if maybe that was partly about coming in without having read the earlier books. And, so, if you've read the For You series and enjoyed it, this may be the book for you! If not, perhaps give those a shot before picking this one up.

This was an enjoyable story about the one that got away. I’ve been a big fan of Alexa Riley for a long time and they keep on delivering books that I love. The story was well written and held my attention. Long time fans of Alexa Riley and this series will enjoy this romance. Plus the epilogues are super cute as well!

This is the first book that I have read by this author and I truly enjoyed this story. It may have been a quick read and insta-love once the reconnection occurred, but it held true to real life romance stories. Not all relationships start out slow, some are quick and you just know that’s the one even though others may think yeah, right until they see that it was the right choice. We got misunderstanding, love, and an awesome story of the past and present to see how and why they got to where they got. Henry and Kory had a mishap in high school so when they reencounter each other ten years later there is no taking it slow. These two missed out on too much over a misunderstanding. I love that while the story was a short read, we got an epilogue a few years apart to truly see where these characters were. If you enjoy short reads, HEA and heat without too much detail this one is for you. You will not be disappointed.

I couldn't connect with the story or the characters.. I feel like it needed more details, it was just too short

Alexa Riley once again delivered a sweet, delightful and completely over the top novella, that I devoured in one sitting! The hero is Henry Osbourne, Miles and Mallory Osbourne’s son. Henry proves that the story repeats itself, his obsession with Kory Summers was so cute. When he first sees her, he instantly knows he has found his soulmate. It doesn’t matter to him that he’s a billionaire’s son and she is a scholarship student. He can’t get her off his mind. Kory is quiet and doesn’t mingle. The fact that the most popular boy in their preppy high school has noticed her seems to be too good to be true.

A scheme and a misunderstanding separate them, but Henry is not a person to give up on his soulmate. He is very decent, though and doesn’t want to intrude into Kori’s life without her consent. Against all odds, his love never wavers. He is patiently waiting for her to come back to him, their reunion will be ten years in the making. Kori is a sweet heroine, but I felt that her character could have been developed more.

All in all, this novella is a fantasy, sweet, cute and so romantic! Alexa Riley’s books have become a guilty pleasure of mine and I can’t wait for more!
