I have read every Alexa Riley book I have come across and I have loved them all! Don't Go didn't disappoint. I was so happy to see Henry get his own book after Penelope and Pandora had theirs. The story was well written and flowed well. I loved the characters (as always). The only downside is now I've finished it and have to wait for her next book to come out.
This utterly sweet and adorable book just screams Alexa Riley and I promise that is a good thing. Henry follows right behind his father's footsteps. He meets Kory in school and just knows she is the one for him. After a 10 year separation with no communication between them, Henry meets *coughs*follows Kory into a taxi and the rest is history. They both want to make up for old time and you are left with a sweet story about giving love a second chance and knowing when you have found "the one".
I can't believe I am about to say this but I wish there was more drama. I mean in his parent's story in Everything for Her we got plenty of drama that was lacking in this book. There was a build up with Kory's old boss, Jason but nothing really happened or at least not enough to satisfy me. It was kind of anti-climactic. I just needed a bit more with this part of the story. Other than that I really enjoyed this book. I can't for more Alexa Riley in the future.
In this series of wonderfully sexy quick reads Don't Go is one of the best. When you meet the other part of your heart at 18 things don't always go the way you want them to. That's definitely the case for Henry Osbourne and Kory Summers. Ten years have gone by since they last saw each other. Now Kory is back in New York and back on Henry's radar. No way he's letting her slip through his hands again.
Don't miss this wonderful insta love sexy read. I highly recommend it.
I really enjoyed this book. I’ve read a couple by this authors before and I’ve always be impressed with how she writes her books. They hook you in and keep you glued to the story as you go on a journey with the characters to there HEA. Always guarantee superb romance too with her books and this book delivers all of it. Great storyline, awesome characters that are very likeable and amazing romance to keep your turning the pages and keeps you coming back for more each time she brings a new book out. I would wholeheartedly recommend both this book and this author.
We plan on reading everything Alexa Riley. We're obsessed. Don't go was no different and our girls didn't disappoint. You will want to grab this new sexy sweet read by Alexa Riley.
Don't Go by Alexa Riley is the Third Book in The "For You" series. This is the story of Kory and Henry.
Kory and Henry knew each other when they were much younger and had a heated attraction to each other. But a misunderstanding kept them from going further with their feelings. Now all those years later they meet again and this time Henry doesn't have plans to let her go. There attraction they find is more than just that...they need each other.
Ms. Riley books are the hot alpha male who has instant love that wants to possessive and protect the Innocent heroine. They are some of my favorite type of story lines for my romance book escape.
As always Alexa Riley has written another great book from start to finish. It starts with Love but will it end up with it. We see Henry, the alpha, wanting Kory but unsure how to proceed until he plucks the courage up to ask her to the prom. Henry is a rich boy whilst Kory is there through a scholarship. Henry and Kory go to the prom but it upsets a few of the college girls who thought he would ask them for sure. At an after party something is spilt on him so he goes and cleans off but not before a girl comes in and makes it look they are doing something that Kory catches and she leaves.
10 years later we catch up with the couple. Kory is back but still smarting about what happens but is happy at her new job due to an old boss not taking no for an answer. A new start, a chance for the bruises to calm down and a new home. With Henry finding her and telling the story of that night can they ever have a future together? I loved the emotions rolling off Kory as she retold her story and the pain with anguish. Love is all they need but they need trust as well. There were a few awww moments in there. A really enjoyable book as always. I voluntarily reviewed this book as an advanced reader copy
This is a new author for me. I liked the cover and the blurb so i thought i would give this book a try. Kory Summers and Henry Osbourne met in high school. Kory was from the wrong side of the tracks so to speak and Henry was from one of the richest families in the school. Henry invited Kory to prom and something went terribly wrong at the after prom party and that was the end of them. No matter how hard Henry tried to fix it he couldn't get through to Kory. Now years later Kory walks back into his life. This was a fun little two hour read. If that's what you need this is the book for you. Don't expect a deep plot because there is no time for that. Everything happens quickly. It was still a very enjoyable book. Sometimes what you need is a story that is cut and dry and easy.

This was a good story. A really really good story. Don't Go is book #3 in the (For You) series and I think it's the best one so far.
Mixed with the magical Alexa Riley glow, the story of Kory and Henry was a beautiful journey toward a happily ever after epilogue that warms the heart and bring tears to the eyes.
So, if you're looking for a safe read with so much heat, love and a beautiful HEA, then you should definitely try this book out. You won't regret it.
I usually don't read too many "hard core" romances. But I absolutely love Alexa Riley's work.
This book is about a CEO named Henry pining away for the same woman for the past 10 years. Kory was the one who got away. Kory ends up returning to New York and dreams of running into Henry again.
This is a HEA story, no triangles. It's a bit on the short side but still a really good read. Normally I'm not a big fan of insta-love but Henry and Kory are just so adorable and were definitely made for each other. 3.75 stars from me, I just wish it would have been longer so it didn't feel so rushed.
I have read several books by Alexia Riley and throughly enjoyed this well written romance.
A story by this author is a guarantee of sweet, smutty love. This series is about the Osbourne family and every couple is gorgeous. Kody and Henry make a great couple in this second chance romance where prom night gets to be the beginning of feelings that last forever. Also, the start of a nightmare of separation and loss.
I liked the mystery that surrounded that secret heartbreak, the way they cross paths again, and especially how determined Henry is to clear the past and win her over. It made me smile at how possessive he was, yet very loving in his concern and devotion to Kody. She's a capable woman as well as vulnerable at heart. Lovely gestures prove Henry's romantic side, and their hot times together are delicious :-D
Totally recommended if you need a dose of sensual and loving optimism.
Every book I have read by Alexa Riley has always been amazing and this is no exception. Kory and Henry were perfect for each other and I was glad that they got their HEA. Also, the epilogue was great I always love to see what happens to the couple in the long run.
This series should be a box set. They're short adventures, and the storyline is fast, but I just couldn't put it down! LOVE LOVE LOVED Henry!! Thanks for the opportunity!!
4.5 stars
Don't Go was just shy of a 5 star read for me. . Henry has been sulking for the past 10 years and I'm happy to see that Alexa Riley gave him his much deserved HEA.
Henry's smitten with Kory. She's a bit reluctant to go out with him but takes a chance. It doesn't go the way that either wants but their connection brings them back together.
The authors throw in a little drama and a lot of sweet as we watch these two rekindle their young love.
I love this book so much I couldn’t put it down...............................................................................................
Sugary sweet and wonderful! I am a big Alexa Riley fan. I know what to expect: deep insta-love and steamy scenes. Boom, every expectation was met. Such a beautiful story and I can't wait for more!
Our bloggers have read a lot of Alexa Riley books and appreciate them for what they are, quick sexy reads. This one however seemed thrown together and lacked any real storyline. What we did get was so unbelievable that was ridiculous. I struggled to finish it.
Man, you had me at "virgin-hero insta-love," Riley. AND YOU DELIVERED. Henry's whole heart was given to Kory back in high school and the guy never looked at another woman. <3 <3 <3
That said, the incident that separated Kory and Henry originally was pretty brutal. Kory was heartbroken and in her heartbreak, she refused to give Henry a chance to explain. OH, THE WASTED YEARS. (no worries, they more than make up for it once they reconnect and things are ironed out.)
I've enjoyed Pandora, Penelope, and Henry's stories. They fall fast and hard and it's the forever kind of love. Henry's delayed romancing of Kory is over the top and utterly fantastic!
This book was just ok. I've been excitedly waiting for Henry's story since he was first introduced at the end of his parents book. I wasn't overly impressed. Written as a novella, I felt that the story was incomplete. It definitely could have been lengthened into a full novel, or at least double what it is. The story felt a bit rushed and too glossed over. Was still good to read, but a bit less than was expecting.
