I voluntarily received an advanced review copy of this book and chose to review it.

Oh. My. God. I LOVED this book. Stitch was just... oh my god! And shayla was as sweet as pie.
This book had all the feels, and I mean ALL the feels! It was heartwrenchingly beautiful, heartwrenchingly sweet, hot, funny, it had drama, it had EVERYTHING. Words cannot express how much I loved this book. Do yourself a favour and read it NOW!

I 100% fell trap to all the J. Daniels hype on bookstagram. I saw her covers everywhere so when this tour opportunity came along I knew I had to sign up. I had a lot of very high expectations going into it and I’m super happy to report that she blew them out of the water!

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t 100% sure I’d like Stitch at the beginning of the book. I wasn’t connecting with him and, to be honest, he seemed like a bit of a dick. That didn’t last long and I fell into J. Daniels’ trap of loving him. I also really loved Shayla as a character; she was adorable and so full of life. I want to be more like her, in all honesty, and will live to my fullest Shayla potential from now on! The rest of the cast was also amazing and I felt like I really did live in their town with them. Connecting to characters is a huge part of the romance novel experience for me and she nailed it with Bad for You.

J. Daniels also pulled off a easy to read story with so much growth for her cast. There were moments that felt like day-to-day, sickly sweet scenes (I say sickly in the nicest way…because I ate those up like Turtles chocolates), and sections that absolutely crushed me. I’m not even exaggerating…I was laying in bad muttering “no…no you can’t do this…this isn’t happening…no.” Bad for You has a full rollercoaster of emotions and then some. Actually, you realistically end up doing a few trips around the rollercoaster by the end. I’m surprised I somehow managed not to full on bawl my eyes out but I was close.

As a J. Daniels newbie, I can confidently say this has fully persuaded me to read her entire backlist. She delivered an awesome balance of character, story, sweetness, heartbreak, and overall feels (yes, that’s a category for me. ALL THE FEELS!)

ALL THE STARS!!

Once I started Bad for You I had trouble putting it down! I literally wanted to sit there and read until I was done! It was SO GOOD and I loved every word from the first until the very last!

The Chemistry between Stitch and Shay was OFF THE CHARTS! It absolutely devoured me whole! I adored Shay, she was such a positive and beautiful light. She knew what she wanted from life and went for it! She was also so loyal and kind and willing to do anything for those she loved. The more I learned about her the more I loved!

NOW let's talk about Sean (aka Stitch)... oh my gosh I'm swooning! HIs tough exterior, tattoos and motorcycle (while soooo sexy) hid so much underneath. I don't want to spoil the story, but I will say that the things he endured in his past broke my heart so badly that I couldn't help but cry. I loved being a part of his journey to become MORE than his past. It was tragic and beautiful. He and Shay broke my heart and then put it back together again.

I loved seeing the whole dirty deeds gang again! This crew is ultimate #squadgoals! I also loved meeting new characters in the form of Shay and and Sean's families. They brought so much to the story and all of the family feels truly warmed my heart!

I absolutely adore J Daniels. I love her writing more and more with each book and she has not written a character yet that has not found a place in my heart. I want more! More Dirty Deeds, more Alabama Summer... and I will take it in any way that I can get it! Now I'm waiting for Nate's story! Bring it on Ms Daniels!

I can't believe I have been reading J Daniel's books for less than a year. I've owned the first two books in this series for a year, but I never got around to read them until last month. When I saw that Stitch's book was coming out, I knew I had to get my hands on it!

Sean "Stitch" Molina has always felt unworthy. Someone who just takes up space. Now, he's trying to turn his life around and give good to those who deserve it. And Shayla Perkins deserves all the good in the world. Good Sean can't offer her. But Shayla is determined to show Sean just how good and worthy he really is.

The very first chapter of this book hit my in the gut and I was a goner for Sean. That man has gone through so much in his life and it was so hard watching him let that affect him so much as an adult. That's why, though, Shayla is the perfect person to show him how worthy he is. Shayla was so determined to just be nice to Sean and I absolutely loved her character. She had such a close-knit group of friends who all supported her and wanted to do good for Sean as much as she did.

Since Sean was so sure he wasn't good enough for anyone, this book definitely had more of a slow build to the romance. Sean had so much other stuff to focus on while ignoring the attraction and protectiveness he felt for Shayla. Shayla was just trying to secure a friendship with Sean and get him to open up before she even though of making a move on him. It was nice seeing them open up to one another, trust one another, and become friends before anything else.

Overall, Bad for You was heartbreaking and I could not stop reading. I fell so hard for Sean and his broken past and Shayla's inability to leave him alone. These two were so endearing and you all need to pick up this emotional ride!

Smiles, swoon and a furious rage at how a mom could be so terrible to such a sweet little boy. I needed to scoop up little Sean and show him how family really should be.

Shay’s heart and bubbly personality warmed my soul and her selfless nature made me want to be a person like her. She’s a true inspiration!

I’ve been waiting to read Sean’s story and this book offered me goofy grins, laughs and is full of heart, love and redemption. He’s a monosyllabic, not much to say so listen when he says it bad boy you will fall deeply in love with. Watching him evolve and learn he’s worthy of all the great things in life is tremendously satisfying and I was lost within these pages and left warm and cozy at the end.

A all around wonderful book to cozy up in a blanket with a good cup of coffee and just immerse yourself in words that you never want to leave.

Oh Ms. Daniels, lovely Jessica, you really surprised me with this book.

"You will suffer for love."

Bad for You is the third book is Daniels' Dirty Deeds series but can be read as a standalone. And let me tell you, it's one you want to read.

A broken hero and selfless heroine - I am hooked!! I won't go into much detail on this book because I feel the blurb gives you enough to know what you're getting into and anything more would be giving away too much.

Sean feels that he is not worthy of anything - not love, not his kids, nothing. He wants all that but because of his past, he believes that those things are what he can never have.

Shay a feisty and persuasive little thing. She doesn't back down from anything and has made her mission to prove to Sean that he is worthy of anything, including her. And when she realizes that she's truly not over Sean, things get even more intense.

"Love is sacrifice, Sean"..."It's putting your own happiness second."

I can't tell you how much I love all these characters. Daniels not wrote an amazing story, but she wrote some strong and real characters. Let me tell you, Val is one hell of a woman. I love that she and Shay hit it off so well and that even when everything was discovered, nothing changed, neither felt differently about the other. And to me, that shows such strong and confident women in a very tough situation. And Sean - omg, my heart hurt for him. I love that Daniels has Sean come across as this tough and brooding guy but once he allows someone in, you see that he's really just hiding his pain - that he does have the most genuine heart. And that heart was beaten down so many times in his past; he's been through a lot and does deserve everything.

I love this story, I really do. I was sucked in the from the start and loved how it all played out. Daniels wrote one hell of story that will captivate you an have you wishing you were Shay.

I have read and loved all of J. Daniels books but this is by far my absolute favorite. There was just something about Sean and Shayla's story that was so heartbreaking and so heartwarming all at the same time. From the Prologue, Mrs. Daniels had me hooked and my heart was breaking for Sean.

Sean had such a horrendous upbringing that you would automatically figure he would grow up to be so hard on the outside as well as the inside. But this man had the most beautiful heart and soul and you could just feel the emotion coming off the pages.

Shayla has had a thing for Sean for over a year. She thought they were going somewhere but then he completely brushed her off and just never talked to her again. Needless to say she was heartbroken. She wouldn't talk to him unless necessary but that didn't stop her from seeing him. Then one day he sees her breaking down in her car and against his better judgement, he goes over to her to see what was going on.

This was the start of a beautiful friendship that turned into the most amazing love story Mrs. Daniels has written to date. I can honestly say there isn't one thing about this book that I would change...except I really didn't want it to end. Even though the story was wrapped up in a pretty red bow, I wish it would have went on longer.

Bravo Mrs. Daniels on the your best book yet. This book will stick with me for a long time and I can say that this is one of my top 5 books of the year. I can't wait for the audio version so I can fall in love with these characters all over again.

There are some stories you feel deep. When you don't pay attention to the Kindle percentage or the time left in the chapter. The words just flow and you absorb them like you're right there, and you're feeling it all. That's what this story did for me. Bad for You was an incredible read that broke me a bit and built me back up. I loved Sean and Shayla’s beautiful friendship and building relationship. It was such a wonderful story of hope and healing and it gets all the stars!

I thought both Sean and Shayla were fantastic characters. Sean's story is harsh and my heart broke for him. Watching him grow and heal was intense and emotional. He had so many things to work through and I couldn't wait for those moments when things started to click for him. I always love a gruff hero, the tortured soul, and the author did a tremendous job with Sean's character. Shayla was bubbly, kind and sweet, there was nothing about this girl I didn't like. She cared deeply and with her whole heart and I loved her tenacity. Together their friendship evolved into something extremely special. I was hooked on their ups and downs and all the special moments. Several times I had to just stop reading and put the book down and just take a moment to absorb it all because some of those moments were just so poignant.

The writing and character development was outstanding. This is my absolute favorite story in the series. The pace was great and I thought it had the best build. I was just filled with so much anticipation and hope as things played out. The angst, the tension, the heat, every detail, it was all prefect to me. There’s also a truly amazing cast of characters from previous books and new ones as well and that helped to make the story that much richer.

J. Daniels did a phenomenal job with this story. 6 stars! I’m just left with so much hope and love, and making me believe we all deserve a second chance and we're all worthy.

J Daniels is one of my favorite authors and I was beyond excited to read Bad For You! It was one of my favorite books of hers and I cannot stop thinking about this book and its characters! If you haven't read anything by J then please do stop what you are doing and pick up one of her books! I am so excited to see what else she has in store this year!

I really loved this romance. The hero and heroine were outstanding! This one really excelled at the relationship development - this isn't a relationship that comes quickly or easily. Which makes it all the more satisfying to see where it goes. The hero is broken and complex. The heroine has such a compelling personality and story. The two of them together is just magic. This is a story that is heartwarming and full of hope. It doesn't wrap everything up perfectly as it feels more realistic than that to me. But, it's themes of redemption and healing are so beautifully done that I didn't want to put this book down. It's extremely readable and compelling! I hadn't read the first two books in this series but I don't feel as if I missed anything. I do want to go back and read the first two since this one was so fantastic!

So this is the third book in the Dirty Deeds series and it was finally time for us to get Shay and Stitch’s story!!! To say I was excited would be an understatement!!

We fell in love with this amazing sassy woman’s and this quiet brooding man in book one and I was hoping we would get their story soon! It was so worth the wait J. Daniels made us go through as I loved this book something fierce! There is only one thing I would change, but I’ll get to that.

Shay has been in love with Stitch for a while but now they don’t speak. After being hurt by him and his actions and never getting the full story Shay decided the heart ache wasn’t worth it.

Stitch doesn’t think he deserves Shay or her love, can she change his mind? And what in the heck is Stitch hiding?! Well we finally find out and I was a little shocked to be honest but I loved that these two had the ending we’ve all been rooting for!!

I don’t want to give much away as that would spoil it and I want readers to go into this like me, having no clue what was going to happen.

I will say this, the ending was the only thing I would change and it was a great ending! I just alway want more in my epilogues! I want to see more into the future than a few months, but really is that a bad thing? No! Because this series isn’t over and I know we will see more from this couple in the next books!

Bring on more of these Dirty Deeds J. Daniels! I need more ASAP!!

This was a very emotional and touching story about a man who didn't find himself worthy to anybody or anything. He always thought he was a f*ckup and didn't deserve anything good in his life.

Sean wasn't perfect, he made mistakes in life and he paid the price for it, but once he did, he wanted to be a better person, he worked hard and was doing everything in his power to change his life around.

Shayla was attracted to Sean but Sean barely would mutter a word back to her, but she wouldn't give up on him. Little by little she was breaking down those walls he had securely put up around himself. And Shayla was going to prove to Sean that he was way worth more than he thought he was.

Shayla and Sean's story was very emotional and very heartwarming. These characters so far have been my favorite from the Dirty Deeds series because this has been a much stronger couple who have gone through way more in life than any of the other couples in this series.

These characters were pretty strong and I loved how Shayla wouldn't give up on Sean. He meant that much to her.

This was a total page turner for me and I loved every minute and every second of this book.

4.5 Stars

This is the first book one read in this series but I've been wanting to read this series for so long and now that I've started I don't want to stop! J. creates worlds that you just want to plant your ass down and jump into the book. All of her characters are so unique and have a way that make you love them. Stitch ruined me. It's as easy as that. I'll be having a book hangover for a few days. This story took ahold of my heart strings and didn't let them go until the words The End. I'm going to be going back and reading Four Letter Word and Hit the Spot so I can fully enjoy the other characters background and how they got their happily ever after. If you need a 5 star book be sure to check out ANY of J. Daniels books. You will not be disappointed.

Bad for You is the third book in the Dirty Deeds series. Although it's part of a series this book, as well as the others, can be read as a standalone. Bad for You is told in dual perspective following Sean and Shayla. At the beginning of the story the two aren't speaking but they still see each other because they work together. After something happens in Shayla's family, Sean offers to help her and the story really takes off from there.

Shay and Sean come from completely different backgrounds. As we move through the story we find out more about Sean's past and his life growing up. I don't think my heart ever broke so much for a character. The more that was revealed about Sean, the more it was understood why he did the things he did throughout his life and why he rejected Shayla before.

It was nice to see Sean and Shayla rekindle their friendship once he offers to help her. I also appreciate how when their relationship began to progress past friendship they didn't automatically get together. While slow at times it made sense to see Sean struggle opening up and learning to let himself be loved. Sean has a lot of trauma to work through but because he now has the motivation to move forward things can only get better for him. I do wish I could have seen a look at how things changed for them a little into the future. Besides that, Bad for You absolutely stole my heart!

Shayla and Stitch is nothing what I expected. Gut wrenching cry your eyes out. Not your typical J Daniels book. Full of emotions.

Shayla and Stitch are perfect for one another and this book was simply wonderful!!

Sean aka Stitch is the head chef at the Whitecaps restaurant where Shayla works as a waitress. A quiet, and brooding man, large imposing and covered in tattoos, he's a quiet soul and keeps himself to himself. Shayla on the other hand is bubbly, sassy, chatty, and full of life.

Shayla has the hots for Sean and these two strike up an unlikely friendship at work, based on Shayla doing the talking and Sean simply listening. When Shayla is rejected, their friendship fizzles out, and although she is still attracted to Sean, there is only so much you can do.

Yet when Shayla has a personal crisis, Sean steps up and helps out. From there maybe things can develop between the two of them? Or are there going to be barriers and walls between them. With lots of secrets and discoveries from Sean's past, we wonder where this story will lead us. I don't want to say any more, as you need to discover for yourself. But let me tell you it is emotional and heart breaking at times, but also a story filled with positivity and strength.

I absolutely loved this story, and both of the main characters. So many times in this book I just wanted to give Sean a huge hug! These two are complete opposites, yet they complement each other so well. Plus we see plenty from the secondary characters, and those from the other books in the 'Dirty Deeds' series which is brilliant.

A rollercoaster of an emotional journey. A story that will make you fell all the emotions; happy, sad, heart break, resilience, strength, whilst bring romantic, sweet and sexy at the same time. This book captivated me from the very first page to the last.

I think this is my favourite book from the series so far!! Although I have loved them all! A must read story from J. Daniels!

This was my first book by J Daniels. I don’t know why I waited so long to read a book by Daniels. It will not be my last. HOT DAMN I loved this book!

This book consumed me. A combination of good writing, a refreshing storyline, well- timed laugh out loud moments and likeable characters made this book pretty much unputdownable for me. If that’s even a word. I just made it one.

The hero, Sean, was a tortured soul. One who was so broken, I didn’t actually know whether or not he could heal. The heroine, Shayla, was a cute and spunky little spitfire who honestly seemed like a girl I would want to be friends with. This is a RARE find for me in a story. I dislike most heroines I read about. I really loved them together. Their romance was slow to build and filled with insecurities. Perhaps a little too insecure on Sean’s part which I’m not used to but given his past, it was understandable. I read tons of books in which the hero is saving the heroine and convincing her of her worth and place in his life or lifestyle. It was so refreshing to read a book where the shoe was on the other foot so to speak. I love the ways in which Shayla saved Sean from himself and convinced him of his worth. It was so beautiful to witness!

I would be remiss if I did not mention the sexy times in this book. The STEAM in the book had my cheeks flushed on numerous occasions.

The only thing that kept me from rating this book higher was the way the hero spoke. It was very reminiscent of a KA over-the-top alpha male who sounds like a caveman. This is usually a pet peeve of mine. That being said, the story was so strong in other areas that the dialogue wasn’t as distracting to me as it usually is.

I should mention that this is book 3 in the Dirty Deeds series. I haven’t read the first two books. Bad For You is definitely a stand-alone and I can’t wait to go back and read the other stories as well. I’m totally invested in the secondary characters already. Can’t wait for more J Daniels

This book is amazing! I actually had to sit and think about it a bit before I could write my review. I have read a few of J. Daniels’ books and have loved them all so far, but I think this one may have just gotten first place for favorite book written by her. She knows how to write. Once I started reading this book I didn’t want to stop, but forced myself to slow down so I wouldn’t be done so fast. We meet Shay who wants her own hairdressing business and is working hard to make that happen. Things become complicated for her when she unexpectedly needs to take care of her brothers. She thinks she’s messing up and is having a hard time juggling everything. Stitch/Sean is the last person she expects to help her. He’s basically ignored her for a year after she asked him out. Shay doesn’t want to like him, but can’t help it. I loved Shay’s brothers and wished we would’ve seen more of them after the beginning of the book. The same thing with her father. We know he has Parkinson’s Disease, but other than an update on medication we don’t find out much more. I get this though, because Sean deserves this story to be about him. Shay eventually figures out why he started ignoring her and your heart just breaks for him. He definitely deserves so much more than he has. I loved that their romance grew gradually and it took time for them to trust each other and take the next step. Sometimes romance books tend to rush things, but that wasn’t the case here at all. Sean’s story was written with so much emotion, I needed tissues a few times while reading. Sean’s kids were so cute and I was happy that Val was a mother that wanted what’s best for her kids even if it wasn’t really what she wanted. This review is kind of a rant, haha, but there is just so much I want to say about this book. I don’t want to say too much either or you won’t have to read the book! All I know is we all need a family like Shay has. Friends that are there no matter what and for anything.
