I am so excited about this new series! I haven't read many MMA books but every one I have has been full of adrenaline and super alpha men. This one has that in spades.

Shane was at the top of his game when personal issues put him in a slump and on a losing streak. Now no one wants to take a chance on him, except the owners of Team Domination. He doesn't have any other team options and doesn't have time for distractions so he needs to stay away from Brooklyn. Brooklyn is back home to help her family get Team Domination back into shape. She has a quiet, steady boyfriend who knows nothing about MMA waiting for her to come home. She has zero interest in dating another fighter so she needs to steer clear of Shane.

The chemistry between these two was off the charts amazing. There were a lot of reasons why they shouldn't even think about being together but none of that mattered. It was like fate put them both in the Team Domination gym at the same time. I love the set up of this series. I'm really looking forward to what comes next for Team Domination!!!

Until You’re Mine was my first book by author Cindi Madsen, it certainly won’t be the last though. This was a heart-thumping fast-paced story set in the world of MMA. Shane Knox was set to reach the height of his fighting career when he started to lose control. After being defeated in one match too many, his manager, his girlfriend and the people he thought were his close friends all turned their backs on him.
Months later, Shane is ready to get his life and his career back on track. He’s got a new coach and is training with Team Domination in San Diego, he’s ready to take it to the next level.
Everything is going great, until she walks in the door.
Brooklyn Roth grew up watching men like Shane, she even fell for one once and had her heart trampled in the process. She’s always been at the center of the action but her love is for art. She’s an artist and when she needed space, she walked away from her father’s gym in San Diego and started over in San Francisco. She’s happy there and has a nice steady boyfriend.
When her brothers ask her to come back to the gym to help out for the summer, she’s hesitant to do so. She and her father didn’t part on the best of terms. But familial ties are hard to break.
Shane was the first thing Brooklyn saw when she came home. She pegged him as just another arrogant fighter, but as she starts to spend more and more time with him, she finds out the there’s more to this built, sexy as sin bruiser.
Shane just needs one good fight to get his career of to a brilliant start and Brooklyn’s dad’s knows exactly who that should be. Brooklyn’s ex-boyfriend. Conrad ‘Croc’ Rochenski.
But, life is never simple and Brooklyn is forced to make a decision when she finally gets a place in a gallery exhibition in San Francisco that she’s been hoping for.
Now she has to choose between her dreams or Shane’s. They can’t have both, or so it seems. She’s been down this road once before and it never worked.
Can she let Shane go?
Will he let her?
Or will he tell her he won’t give up, Until You’re Mine.

Until You're Mine was a sexy, engaging slow burn romance and it had me anxious to see how it would all play out with the two main characters.

If you love MMA Romance then this one will definitely hit all the right spots. With a sexy and somewhat cocky fighter Shane Knox who is trying to climb his way back to the top and Brooklyn who's only home for awhile to help out her families gym.

These two pretty much start out in almost I would say a bit of a love hate relationship. The chemistry between them is so hot and it's just a matter of time before things get spicey. As the story continues along these two just can't seem to avoid that attraction even though everything says that they really should.

There's also tension among the other characters in this so it's not just about these two. So many other factors surrounding them and for me that made this book even more interesting and really sets the stage a bit for more books to come. I found myself not just wanting to see Shane and Brooklyn but some of the others that we get introduced too.

Shane's pursuit though had me loving him. His cockiness was funny at times but you could tell that he wasn't just wanting a wham bam thank you maam with Brooklyn. He was sweet, demanding in that alpha way that I love to read in books. And Brooklyn she could definitely hold her own, she was independent, knew how to defend herself and had the potential to be a baddass.

This is definitely a series that I will continue to read. A great read with characters that I found myself invested in.

Do you want a good book to curl up with after a long day of work??? Look no further, this is that book! Great chemistry, characters, plot lines are a great recipe that I ate up! Brooklyn is back temporarily to help out her dad and brothers with their gym that needs an SOS! It's there where she meets Shane who has some issues that now has him starting from square one in the MMA world! From the start the chemistry is hot! The banter between these two is flirty and playful! The only thing is it's kind of forbidden. She is his trainers daughter. With obstacles in the way (overprotective brothers, dad and an ex that has her insecurities making an appearance) it's hard to think there will be a happy ending for these two! I was a total cheerleader because I fell in love with Shane! Totally worth it! This is a must add to your list! Also can't wait for the next book in the series!!

Do you wanna know why the book is called Until You're Mine? Because except from the obvious reason aka Shane wanting Brooklyn we have Shane wanting a woman who is not his and actually belongs to someone else. For half the book Brooklyn is in a relationship with someone else and she never mentions that they have problems and they are fighting. Basically, they are in a healthy relationship and there was no reason for them to break up. It's not uncommon to experience the chemistry Brooklyn and Shane had when one is in a relationship, but most people don't act on it and they don't break up with each other. Brooklyn doesn't cheat on her boyfriend physically, but emotionally, no matter how hard she tried she couldn't do anything about it. Shane was always there pushing. Also, Brooklyn got over the end of her relationship very fast and I stopped liking her then. The whole book was a struggle, to be honest. I spend half the book having the hero pursuing a woman who belonged to someone else, a heroine who is trying to avoid hi, but ends up with him most of the time and secondary characters who didn't appear enough. I hope the next book will avoid most of these mistakes and give us a lighter and better story, The last few chapters saved the story from been a complete no no for me, but I don't think I would recommend the book.

Cindi Madsen is a new author to me. But that is all about to change, I love sports romance but this is the first I have read in the world of MMA and I’m hooked.
Shane Knox has it all only one fight away from the championship then life sent him blow and that’s when he found out people only want to be around winners.... until he meet Team Domination a gym run by a family who are also on their uppers maybe this will work for both of them, what Shane didn’t expect was the owners sassy daughter who should be off limits to start haunting his dreams, will he risk it all for love and will she take a chance on yet another MMA fighter......
This book was slow to start but I’m so glad I kept going, it’s a romance that’s full of love and passion and characters that have depth. Looking forward to more from this author

This was a sexy, slow-burn romance.

"Unsettled - that's how he made me feel, and I wished I could be impassive around him."

Brooklyn Roth is back in her hometown - where she doesn't want to be. She keeps telling herself and her family that it's just temporary. She's there to get the business books straight and then she's going back up north to her art and her non-MMA life. She's certainly not looking for a fling, and she's certainly not looking for a fling with an MMA fighter, who is also her father's protege.

"The girl was under my skin and it was driving me crazy."

Shane Knox is working hard for the chance to shake off his "has been" label. He's determined to make it back to the top and the Roth family gym is the place he needs to be. However, he's completely hooked from the first moment he encounters his mentor's daughter. She's a little firecracker and he can't resist riling her up. There's also no denying the sizzling connection between them. Unfortunately, for several reasons, she's off limits.

"For most of my life, I've been afraid to want anything. It went along with hope. But I want you, more than I've wanted anything in a long time."

This was a tension-filled, slow burn. I loved the chemistry and connection between Shane and Brooklyn. I really felt for them as their lives were going in opposite directions, and I really wasn't sure they were going to resolve their situation without one of them making a sacrifice.

Brooklyn is feisty and fiery, and I loved her determination and her strength to strike out on her own, and be independent of her family in pursuit of her dreams. I also liked her integrity when it came to doing right by people.

Shane is gorgeous! His desire for Brooklyn was overwhelming. He was cocky, flirty, but also earnest with her. I loved how he was willing to stand up for her and protect her. I also enjoyed his interactions with his mother and his friends. He's a loyal guy and you know he'd always have your back.

This was a fab read!

I have been a big fan of all the Cindi Madsen books I've read so far. Coming into Until You're Mine, though, I was a little skeptical that I'd enjoy it as much because I am not an MMA fan. I was so glad to be proven wrong! This book had a great mix of MMA, romance, and family drama.

Brooklyn's family owns an MMA gym in Southern California. She left the family business to pursue her dreams of becoming an artist, but has come home for a summer to help out. Shane was an up and coming fighter who has to start over after losing a few fights.

From the very start Brooklyn and Shane's chemistry is off the charts even though both have reasons to avoid starting a relationship with the other.

Brooklyn is a talented artist and I liked that it was featured throughout the book and is truly important to her. Shane is committed to working his way back up in the ranks and works hard training. They were much more interesting as lead characters because they had interests/goals of their own.

I am really looking forward to the next book in the series about Chelsea and Liam!

The tough guy is about to get schooled. Shane is a fighter. He has battled his way to the top once and plans on making it back again. Whatever it takes, is his daily mantra. Until triple S walks through the door. Smart, sexy and sassy, Brooklyn knows the game, but breaks all his rules and complicates his life. The chase is on and the prize will be his most precious acquisition to date. Until You're Mine mixes street smarts and soft hearts with fierce battles and witty dialogue. No matter the canvas, Ms. Madsen let's her humor shine through in the strength of her characters and her dedication to winning readers hearts.

Shane has already been to the top of the MMA world and fell, so now he’s fighting his way back up. All he has to do is keep his mind on training hard and nothing else. But when he meets his new coach’s daughter (Brooklyn) he falls head over heels and can’t keep his mind off her. Brooklyn fell for a fighter once (who cheated on her) and that was enough for her ... never again! But when she meets Shane, she has a hard time keeping her own promise.

This book took me by surprise because even though it is a romance with a lot of steam ... it was really funny! The banter between Brooklyn and her brothers (Liam and Finn) was so good ... Brooklyn was such a hoot and I liked that she could laugh at herself. And even though Shane was this big tough fighter, he had a vulnerable side that just made you love him more. This book also set up the back story for the next book with Liam and I can’t wait to read it.

I am not a huge MMA reader so I didn't know if I'd get lost in the MMA world or if I'd love it. It's definitely love at first sight. The fighting was a very important part of Shane and Brooklyn's story, but their love story and their ability to trust after what they'd been through is the story that was told. I loved Shane and his ability to turn his life around and when he finally met his dream girl, he screwed up and then he gave it everything he had to make her his.

Brooklyn had tried to date a fight and her life hadn't gone the way she wanted. Now with Shane, she knows there is no future there. Shane and Brooklyn's journey was a path of learning to trust the one you love and trust that they will only build you up not tear you down. I fell so hard for Shane Knox and the guy that he was and the guy he wanted to be for Brooklyn. I loved Brooklyn's family, too. I can't wait for Liam and Finn to get their stories told!

Three and a half stars.

Brooklyn Roth was born into a family of MMA fighters and her family owns an MMA gym/ training centre in San Diego. After living and breathing MMA her entire life she realised her father, three brothers and boyfriend Conrad all thought her dreams were subservient to MMA, and Team Domination, their MMA team. When Conrad cheated on her she declared enough was enough and left for San Francisco to pursue her dreams of being an artist. Shane left Team Domination and her family blamed her for mixing the family business with pleasure. Now her boyfriend Trey is the opposite of all those testosterone-fuelled alpha-male MMA fighters - and that's the way she likes it. Solid, dependable, safe.

Now, at her brothers' request Brooklyn is back to try to wrestle some kind of control over the finances of the business, apparently all four men are too busy to pay the bills and keep the books and have allowed a series of book-keepers to let the accounts get into a shambles. When Brooklyn arrives she finds her father still thinks her art is a waste of time and that she OWES the business - because Conrad cheating on her and then leaving the Team put the gym in a black hole. Basically Brooklyn is not a daughter, more of a business asset to attract and retain fighters and do the stuff the men can't be bothered to do.

When Brooklyn arrives her eye is immediately caught by a new fighter, Shane Knox. He's cocky, talented and pushy. No matter how much Brooklyn tells herself he's no longer her type, she is irresistibly drawn to him. But she's only in town for a few months to fix the books and she has a boyfriend.

Shane Knox was on his way to the big time when his mom caught cancer and he lost a few fights. Faster than a speeding bullet his girlfriend and his so-called friends and trainers deserted him like rats from a sinking ship. Now he's back and starting right at the bottom, but this time he won't let anything stand in his way. Although the boss' sassy daughter is certainly easy on the eye and he just lurves annoying her. But Shane has learned that people can't be relied on to stick around, and he can't risk his comeback on a woman who isn't planning on staying.

I love Cindi Madsen but I'm not a fan of MMA novels so I was interested to see where this novel feel - the answer is just about in the middle. I don't like alpha-male posturing as exemplified by Brooklyn's father, some of her brothers and her ex. This lacked the humour I associate with Cindi Madsen's other novels but, as I said, I'm not a fan of MMA novels generally so the above average rating is pretty good - if you like MMA novels you will probably rate this much higher.

Having said all that, I am intrigued about Brooklyn's brother Liam and his relationship with Chelsea - what happened there? So, maybe I'll request the next book in the series after all.

I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

This is a steamy romance starring MMA fighter Shane Knox who has joined Team Domination to try to get back into winning fighting shape. He’d been highly successful until personal worries distracted and detracted from his performances. Now he’s determined to win awards and trusts the Roth family to get him into shape once more. What he hadn’t bargained for was Brooklyn Roth and the feelings just seeing her bring forth.

Brooklyn left her father’s MMA gym behind her, fed up with life being about fights and fighting with no time for her or her art. She’s a talented artist but her Dad just thinks of it as a silly hobby. Now her brother Finn has convinced her to come home for the summer to help sort out the gym’s books and to reconnect with their father and her other brother, Liam. What she hadn’t expected was to be so attracted to one of the new fighters, Shane Knox. She has a steady, reliable boyfriend back home - she avoided the muscular fighters behind when she went to college. She needs to leave Shane alone, any relationship can only end in heartbreak! As the two strive to achieve their very different personal goals, can love find a way to bring them together?

Sometimes the place and people you’re working to get away from really are the ones with whom you’ll find happiness but discovering that and admitting it take courage and time. The whole story revolves around personal feelings of being worthy and valued for yourself and your aspirations - and how previous experiences can lower your self-esteem. However, with two such different aspirations there needs to be compromise on both sides and that’s sometimes well nigh impossible to acknowledge or achieve. This is a well written, pacy, steamy romance with well developed characters, plenty of angst and a liberal sprinkling of humour. I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who enjoys this genre.

I requested and received a copy of this novel, via NetGalley. This is my honest review after choosing to read it.

Until You're Mine is a lesson in self control. The chemistry between these two is off the charts hot! But past hurts have a way of rearing their ugly heads! Oh and that whole "I have a boyfriend" thing too.

She maybe a painter but she has a whole lot of fight in her.
He maybe a fighter but he thinks of her as the fight of his life.

These two long for more in life and fear for the unknown. Doubts, fears, and dreams hold them hostage. Its hard to cling to something you don't even have...

Until You're Mine had my inner hopeless romantic cheering, pouting, and ready to throw down!Don't let the middle aged, overweight mom vibe fool you- I will toss the gloves and come at you with crazy eyes for my HEA. I'm not the only one able to, but are they willing?

Until You're Mine was filled with hot MMA fighters to make your curiosity roam but only one will make you beg...until Liam's story of course.

cindi madsen kicks off her new mma series, fighting for her, with until you're mine. set at an mma training gym run by the roth family, shane knox is the newest member on team domination and he has a lot to prove. as a rookie he had moved up the mma ranks, only to start losing fights when his personal life imploded just before he reached the top.

now things are settled, but he finds himself having to start at the bottom. and falling for brooklyn roth, his trainer's baby sister is not going to help him climb higher.

brooklyn wants nothing to do with the mma world. she's been there, done that. cocky mma fighters who can't keep it in their pants are a risk not worth taking. and if she weren't a genius with numbers, and her family weren't on the verge of losing their gym, and if her brother hadn't managed to guilt her into coming back for the summer she wouldn't be stuck trying to avoid spending time with shane.

because in spite of everything she says, and does, she is horribly attracted to him. even though she has a boyfriend who is perfect on paper. nice, from a good family, not a fighter, supportive of her art.

the thing is she has dreams, and the last thing she needs is another reason to avoid fulfilling them. she already went down that road once, and it ended badly. but shane is different. he has been knocked down and out by the mma world too. his determination to make something out of himself, especially given that he comes from nothing, means that he knows how precious the moments of happiness he finds with brooklyn are.

he would do anything for her. and he does. and every time he blasts away her low expectations she falls for him just a little bit harder. and honestly, he's so cocky and sexy and the little game he plays when he tells her when he'd kiss her before they are ever together is so hot. these two only need the chance to figure out that they can have everything if they compromise. and that finding a middle ground isn't as impossible as they think it is.

The book was amazing

The characters were interesting and it’s was interesting learning about their relationship with each other and other people . You understand how their past have shaped how they are.

I was drawn to this book because the cover looks amazing. The model looks hot, I could picture him as Shane (after reading this book) and I thought the pose was great. So looks alone, this book drew my attention. This is my first book by this author and I don’t believe it is part of a series. So because I have never read anything from this author, I was unsure what to expect. The writing was done well. I have no complaints about misspelled words or bad wording. And usually, I love MMA books. And I did enjoy this one, but it just didn’t hold the appeal for me as other ones have. Unfortunately, I cannot pinpoint exactly why either. It started out strong with the meeting of Shane and Brooklyn, but I think the issue for me was I didn’t like Brooklyn.
Would I recommend this book, yes - it might appeal to others.
I would definitely try another book by this author.

This wasn't exactly what I was expected still it was a great read!It was a little bit slow at the beginning but once it keeps up everything change. I liked both Shane and Brooklyn and they made the perfect couple. Both have overcome some crappy stuff in their past. The witty banter between these two was spectacular. I laughed, melted a little.Overall, this was a good read and I enjoyed almost all of it. I can't wait to read the next book
