Unfortunately this book was not for me, it was a bit slower than I would like and it just didn't hold my attention. I am sure other people will love it!
I will never think about the song, The Twelve Days of Christmas, the same way again. This was an intense murder mystery. You will find yourself sitting on the edge of your seat chewing your nails. And because the murders have been going on for 12 years, there is a history and the criminal investigators are getting exasperated because they've not been able to catch the murderer.
There are lots of twists and turns that continue to make you gasp. I was convinced one person was the culprit, but then I decided it has to be another person. And when you turn the page and discover who the real murderer is, you will be shocked!
Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Collins for an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
A great scary holiday read. I love getting into the holiday spirit while reading around that time of year. This was a nice little horror/mystery about a serial killer that killed men and kidnapped their SO only for them to be killed Christmas Eve. Now the person that vowed to find him gets a present that is based on the 12 days of Christmas song. It is now a race until the end. Loved it!

I thought this book was a cracking read. It was fast paced with a few twists thrown in for good measure..
Well worth a read. 3.5 stars.
I do love a psychological thriller with twists and this book didn’t disappoint , the gory details made me clench my toes!!
I do like a Christmas theme so the whole 12 days of Christmas and the Santa killer was a different twist to this thriller.
On the first day of Christmas D.S. Devin gave to me a fast-paced, interesting mystery! This story was easy to get into, not too many characters to make it confusing and a good plot. I like when there's a tough, no-nonsense less woman character also.
I love thrillers and this book didn't disappoint. The premise of the story was really interested and based around 'The Twelve days of Christmas' song. The story kept me thinking and trying to work out the villain right until the end.
A good read that had me interested and hooked from the very beginning. Had you guessing who "Santa" could be and made you think once or twice if you were wrong. Loved the twists in the book that kept you guessing and doubting if you even ha it figured out at all. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book.
Overall, this was a good crime book that I enjoyed reading.
There were not so many characters and possible endings built in the plot, so I must say it was an easy read that you could guess the criminal. The plot was not complicated, yet there's some character building which makes it deeper.
Probably what I liked most was it was gripping from the first page and the pace was good. I didn't get bored, I read it in one day easily.
I would say not the best of the crime stories, but easy to read and thrilling. It would make a good Christmas read.
