This novel was fun, sexy, filled with laughs and made my day! I really loved this book, the characters were fun and it was just the read I was looking for! Highly recommend!😁
I liked the concept, but the execution was terrible.
The characters lacked background motivation and emotionally ping-ponged all over the place.
I never felt that the characters had emotional depths and didn't really see why half off them were friend. I found many of the actions really over the top and unbelievable and pointless to the overall story.
I would NOT recommend.
This book was captivating from the start. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Or does it? Fun and entertaining the whole way through.
I've never read this author before and the blurb just kind of grabbed my attention. I think I secretly, or not so secretly get a kick out of surprise elopements in Vegas stories. I always find it interesting what would make someone marry a total stranger.
In this case, Rissa had gotten so drunk she doesn't even remember the night before. She doesn't even realize she is married until after she snuck out of the hotel room and is heading home. Five years later, Rissa is ready to get married again and remembers she still needs to divorce the mystery guy first.
The author provided quite the entertaining tale with Rissa, her fiance, mystery husband and all the obstacles in their path. I did feel that the behavior of these characters felt more high schoolish than the mid twenties that I believe they were but that's the only thing that I couldn't get used too. I enjoyed the story and would try more from this author. ARC provided by Netgalley.
This is a sexy well written rom-com that was a delightful reading experience for me. Honey, a famous actress is engaged to Jake a rock star, but there is a problem she is already kind of married. It happened 5 years ago during a drunken trip to Vegas. She is a good girl so when she wake up in bed with a stranger she was so freaked out she left without even looking at his sleeping face. Later she discover the wedding ring, but had no way to find him for a quickie divorce.
Cole a billionaire Vegas hotel owner has looked for his missing wife for five years. He fell in love that night and wants to find her to see if the passion he remembered is real. He knew only her name "Rissa" which is Honey's real name. Cole is not a TV watcher so he has never made the connection to her being famous until he discovers the wife he has been looking for is engaged to his half brother Jake. Thus this enchanting adventure begins.. Will Cole be able to win her back from his cheating brother? Be sure to read this steamy, funny rom-com to find out.

There's Something About Vegas is a sweet and sexy second chance romance. 5 years ago, Rissa was cheated on and she ended up in Vegas to get her mind off things. When she woke up the next morning next to a warm body and only a sexy forearm visible, she fled. Now, she's on the verge of superstardom, she's changed her name, and she's just gotten engaged. But, when her brand new fiancé cheats on her, her best friend takes her to Vegas to get her mind off things, AGAIN.
Cole has spent the last 5 years pining away for his mysterious woman, who took off after their passionate night. He's looked for her endlessly, but never gotten anywhere until just recently, when his PI informs him he found her and that she's on her way to Vegas. Watching Cole and Rissa fall in love was a beautiful thing. They had far too many obstacles, but the journey was sweet, heartfelt and sexy.
I loved There's Something About Vegas. It's a little out of the box for a second chance romance, for one main reason - Cole. Although rich, hot and a casino mogul, he's not even close to being an ass. He's sweet, compassionate and protective of those he cares about. He's a great employer and he treats his employees with the respect every hardworking employee deserves. And the love he showers on Rissa? Downright swoonworthy. Yes, what happens in Vegas should stay in Vegas, but in Cole and Rissa's case, it didn't, and I'm glad because their second chance romance is awesome. I'm looking forward to more of this series, perhaps it will be Cassie (Rissa's best friend) and Eric (Cole's head of security) chance, or even Jake, (Cole's brother). Either way, I'm looking forward to more of this world.
