I loved this book. It features two sisters, Mallory and Rachel, who run a wedding planning business at Thistle House, their B&B. They have two major events coming up - a celebrity wedding as part of a reality tv series featuring actress Dakota and her country star fiance Beau. Dakota grew up in town and wants to come back for her wedding to have her childhood friends take part in the ceremony. Dakota's best friend, Ginger, her maid of honor, is the headmistress of local boarding school Dunlap Academy and the other major event at the B&B is a debutante ball for the school which Mallory is hosting as a favor to her almost mother in law, the Horrible Helene. When Ginger is murdered during the ball, the connections between the all of the groups come into play. This is a charming story, with wonderful descriptions of the decorations and food for the events which will make you want to be a guest there. I highly recommend it.

Not having read the first two books in the series, I found this to be a fun, enjoyable read that made me laugh at the parallels to my own life at times. Will be interesting to see where the series goes.
